I'm getting new glasses soon and I feel like I want to go for something that looks intelligent (i.e. I'd look like the director of planetary sciences at NASA or something) without making myself look like a total dweeb.
I've thought about pic related, but I'm worried that would make me come off more like an angsty 15 year old who desperately wants to be seen as "creative."

>director of planetary sciences at NASA
Jim Green
he wears wire frames fyi

I didn't mean the actual guy you literal mongoloid. I can't find pics of it, but the look I'm going to is something along the lines of Matt Damon at the end of The Martian.

you're going to have to show me a screen grab movies like the martian aren't interesting to me
liev schreiber looked fucking sexy in spotlight though

This is the scene I was thinking of. Not sure if it would look good on me since Matt Damon is probably able to pull off a lot more stuff than I am.

if you have a super strong jaw line and a squarer head than he does it might work
but i personally would not do it
chances are you don't have movie star good looks and you're not willing to do the due dilligence to get a proper fitting frame
most people try on fewer than 5 frames prior to committing for years

Yeah I don't have a very strong jawline, probably wouldn't pull it off. I've been wearing pseudo-browlines for a while (before that I just wore wire frames) but I wanna try something different.
Pic related, it's me.
