Why bother with a sticky?

Stickies are for people who lurk. For people who get informed prior to posting. Does /fa/ look like there are a lot of people on here who lurked prior to posting? The current generation doesnt lurk anymore, they just give their opinion no matter how worthless it is. Which means that a sticky is worthless, especially since it requires the reader to be capable of assessing information, which most posters arent.

Moderation is more important than a sticky. Simply ban people who post 'is x effay' threads for a month. I mean, take a look at the survey. The average poster is like 18-19 years old, I dont even know how to change that. Guess it simply is the general direction this website is heading into. Oh, and can people stop saying 'last thread hit 300'? It obviously did you fucking nigger or else you wouldnt be creating a new thread.
