Yeah, I started lifting a bit a couple of years ago and kept it up for about a year. Got pretty toned, but I just got to a point where I didn't have time to go to the gym 3+ days a week. Now I just do cardio and light calisthenics.

there is this one daily routine workout called venus:

don't care for bench press feels weird and painful afterwards. same with push-ups always hated that fucking exercise

I did it, the whole point of the program is to start from the first exercise and gradually increase the difficulty and I'm pretty sure 4x40 pushups is not in the beginning. Freeletics is very demanding, but for me it worked as a way to change by lifestyle healthier, but I don't really do those exercises anymore (apart from aphrodite which is 50-40-30-20-10 burpee/squat/situp). In longterm these hiit / crossfit programs aren't that great, because very easily you will do them in a bad form and subjecting your muscles to constant extreme stress is very unhealthy (although freeletics is bodyweight only, which makes the risk smaller). Now I mix gym, swimming, hiit and surfing (when I have the chance). Feel much better.

tl:dr start from the beginning but crossfit style is not a great longterm solution.
