can video game clothing ever be effay in the real world?
Well, I just bought this. Based on Joel's shirt from TLOU.
this is how every rick owens/julius/goth ninja fan dresses and it looks like some shit out of an assasins creed game.
Wait.. no. Literally never.
Is this what you want? Is this how you want people to run around in the real world?
Video game clothes can and will never be effay
I want you to remember that you made me do this op.
You let this happen.
That depends on how you define "video game clothing"
Stuff like >>10881695 won't look good in real life, but stuff like >>10881709 can.
I mean, it won't look good because it's an ugly shirt, but if the shirt was a good looking shirt, then it could be fashionable.
Most of the time when a game creator is creating a game, if the game is based in reality they have to design clothes for the characters that would realistically be something someone would wear. Clothes designed this way have the possibility of looking good in real life because they were designed to look like a normal article of clothing. For example, if I saw someone wearing a green hoodie I wouldn't start talking to him about San Andreas or something, because it's just a green hoodie.
If you can look at something and tell it's from a video game, then it's too far separated from reality to wear on a normal outfit. You could probably put out a line of clothes from a video game based in reality and make them work with a certain outfit, but it's unlikely anybody would recognize them from the game.
Sometimes video games just go too far with costume design. Look at these suspender pants. This is silly.
well this fit from fallout 4 is overall great, especially the coat
I actually think it looks really nice. I've wanted it for ages, and seeing as it was on sale for about £27 down from £45, so I went for it. I kinda have a thing for check shirts though, and I am obsessed with the game, so perhaps that's factored into it.
lol yeah, i wanted to post it before here too but i figured people would just mock it cause of Bane
Ah yeah they kinda are. I'm thinking of just pairing it with some slim fit dark jeans and solid brown boots. It doesn't look like its slim fit, so the jeans should contrast the top fit nicely.
Well the company it comes from is very legit and high quality, Insert Coin Clothing. There are close in pics that show the quality of the stitching and all that, can post if you want. It won't be thin either, it looks quite thick, like brushed twill.
clothing may not work but i think accessories can
i wish more real world clothing made it into vidya. pic related, majima wearing a n-3b parka in yakuza 0. it's not officially alpha industries sadly.
this looks techwear-ish and wouldnt look too autistic irl
Don't you dare remind me that I have to wait for that game.
I am irrationally hype for every part of that game.
>Set in 1988
>80s suits everywhere
>That unique 80s Japanese aesthetic that's so goddamn fly
>Young Kiryu kicking face up the ranks
>PS4 Yakuza, so ideally not laggy as fuck and better textures
I plan to buy a PS4 exclusively for that game
Maybe, anon. But mote that this would only look good on a very specific type of athletically predisposed woman.
It would be awful for everyone else
What the fuck are you doing, anon? Abort mission
Well this kind of applies to circa 2008 if anything though
everyone in bloodborne wears full rick
will legitimate armour sets ever become fashionable in the mainsteam?
if it's subtle, sure.
I like redbubble because everybody can sell their stuff there. so you don't even need to wear officially branded merchandise clothing of games which is great, I think.
