How's the weight loss going, /thinspo/? How do you curb your cravings? Stats? How thin you want to go?
Both male and female thinspo welcome.
Eyes and espresso :)
*Ice holy fuck I need to sleep
How do you guys control your hunger? I went over my calorie limit yesterday, and im fasting today but im getting insane cravings.
I'm on 600 cal a day. Not including drinks
( nothing with sugar tho, just tea and 0 cal sweeteners )
It's pretty easy, I eat when I need the most energy.
For example I get a 250 cal breakfast if i go to gym in the morning gym then 2 small meals.
Dropped 11 pounds since 3 weeks.
CW 110, i'm pretty short tho
Since losing a bunch of weight I'm fucking cold all the time.
just looking at /fa/ once in a blue moon makes me sick. from retarded weirdo fashion to this shit
NO ONE thinks anorexia is attractive, this is disgusting af
>retarded weirdo fashion
Who the fuck do you wear, Mossimo?
>NO ONE thinks anorexia is attractive
Except those who do. If a guy or girl is pro ana they're a keeper and they're probably more successful in other facets of life than you and your dorito munching chungo gf. Prove me wrong.
i'm naturally skinny and i don't need to work at it.
Anyone have any think i can learn from to make the most out of my skinniness? I like my thin silhouette, but i know i'm not using it to the full potential
Anyone else enjoy this prompt that comes up after you weigh in? It actually makes me smile and keeps me going.
can't spot target fat, just keep restricting, it will go away eventually. I believe in you, anon!
if you have thick thighs due to muscle, do long distance running or absolutely no activity at all. something that will really let your legs atrophy.
Yeah, although if you are losing enough weight to end up with loose skin I feel like how fast you lose it won't really make a difference? I don't actually know for sure, maybe google around a bit or ask your doctor. But it seems to me that if the skin has already been stretched a certain amount it won't magically reform to a thinner body.
Skin is elastic, and will tighten a bit if weight is lost. If you're going from super obese to tiny, then yeah you're going to have loose skin, but drinking water, being young, and losing at a slower rate definitely makes skin elasticity bounce back.
Exactly how I imagine my goal self. Thank you anon.
you're gonna look like a pretty ballerina, anon
>only a 130 calorie allotment left for the rest of the day
Outside of drinking black coffee, what do?
I just want to look like someone who could model but doesn't because they're too shy. :3
Inb4 they'll only ask if I play basketball or something.
What do you want to be, anon?
I don't really want any more substance than what it takes to read a book and drink a cup of coffee. Just kind of blend in and drift, you know?
Posting some for you, I don't remember where I got them though
>former fatty (not morbidly obese, but definitely overweight)
>lose 55 lbs. with calorie counting and running
>pretty skinny but stomach and ass have some loose skin
This sucks, I know you're supposed to fill out loose skin with muscle but I want to be a skinny guy. It doesn't look awful but it sucks knowing I can never look like a thin model.
>used to hate heat because of chub rub
>winter was favorite season because of cold, thought I just liked cold weather
>first winter since losing weight
>fucking freezing and it's not even that cold yet
I guess it's nice wearing more layers.
Done posting for now at least , please be careful
you dont.. eat what you want and if you're truly effay you will be skinny. you dont want to ignore your cravings, you want to make sure the cravings never happen in the first place.
>If a guy or girl is pro ana
This solely because it's unlikely they'll get fat any time soon. If you look at places like /r/proED or pro-ana tumblrs the girls are autistic about eating healthy and counting calories, most women get to college or get married and balloon up since they've never really tried to be skinny.
Maybe I'll save up to get a tighter ass. My stomach is just kind of disappointing, my ass looks fucking awful, I didn't even notice until fairly recently. Thought running and squats would help but haven't made a big difference yet.
Just search for the food on MFP and guess the amount. It's difficult to guess volume at first, if you want bring a measuring cup or preferably take food back to your dorm and measure it there with a cup or food scale.
I'm 179cm and used to weigh 82,5kg one year ago. Now I'm down to 71kg and 14% body fat. I want to get to 65kg as soon as possible. How do I get there and what is the fastest way?
Also: how to deal with older people (professors, cafeteria ladies, friends, parents etc.) who say I have lost too much weight?
P.S. I will not go to >>>/fit/ and ask those morons what to do.
Normal weight for you is 79kg. Eat less carbs and fats. Eat a lot of fruits and vegs. It's the same for all people so there's nothing mucj to add. You may try walking on long distances if you want so.
What if I want to eat at a restauraunt? What if visit someone and they prepare food for me? This is the hardest part about losing weight. If something would automatically analyze the exact amount of calories the food has it would be easy.
Losing weight just like gaining weight is a rather slow process. You already lost a lot of kgs just continue doing what you was doing and you'll reach your goal. You don't want to fuck up your health especially when you're 18 trust me.
If out to eat order the smallest thing on the menu, e.g., maybe only an appetizer salad, a simple sandwich, eat half, take the other half to go.
If someone's preparing food for you say something like you're on a diet and wouldn't mind at all if you're served the modest portion out of the group.
Eating out is harder, but, you can get reasonably good at estimating calories based on simple meals.
I mean at a college canteen I imagine they have chicken breasts. Now they might put some sauce on it, but you can scrape that off. Salad, veggies, etc are all pretty reasonable to estimate. You'll taste it if they've put butter on there. I went to college years ago but I was able to find healthy stuff.
Lovely repeating digits.
>If someone's preparing food for you say something like you're on a diet and wouldn't mind at all if you're served the modest portion out of the group.
That works when you are still kinda heavy, but once you are thin that can raise bad attention. I'd say just eyeball what you want to eat and leave the rest of the plate (or cut it up to make it look like you've eaten more, I do that pretty often if with friends and they cook something ultra high calorie). Just say how good it is while you eat the bit you do eat, cut while you talk, pick it up with your fork, then talk more and set it down, etc etc etc.
if i could only lose the little bellyfat i do have
Whats a good weight for a 5'6 girl?
when i hit 120 people start asking if im sick but then again most people are jealous fatass,so i dont know where to stop.im currently 130 so i definitely have some weight to lose.
I need someone to tell me daily how disgusting I am. Can there be a thinspo kik group?
So! I haven't weighed myself in about 2 weeks but I've been staying under ~600 calories for almost a month now. I was downtown and ended up going into a really nice low-tier designer boutique and came away with 2 victories:
1) The woman in the store made sure to tell me they had XS available.
2) I officially own a pair of XS joggers! They're a little tiny bit snug, enough to be cozy, but not too small at all. And my net calories today are ~150! I'm so happy.
Cravings can mean two things.
Option A: You are actually hungry. Rejoice! This means you are definitely losing weight. Have a black coffee to subdue the hunger.
Option B: You need an emotional crutch. Practice self-care. Meditate, have a cup of herbal tea or flavoured tea, take a long bath, read a book.
So I get that to lose weight you have to have a calorie deficit but what about fats and carbs? What role do they play?
If you eat the same calories what's the difference between a high carb and fat and a low carb and fat diet?
As long as you are in a caloric deficit you'll drop weight. The thing with the makeup of your food is some food keeps you fuller longer than others. You want to stick to higher protein and fiber, because for the same amount of calories they seem to keep you fuller longer.
I'd say avoid carbs at night, within reason, as well.
Gradually. -750kcal off your TDEE until your weight loss stops. If too hungry then do -500kcal off TDEE. As you drop in weight, you'll get less hungry, so you can keep adjusting based on your new TDEE. When you get super low bodyfat it is harder than when it is higher, so you might even do more gradual cuts. Some people fast or whatever but to me that is unnecessary since not in that big of a rush.
tl;dr: gradually cut out calories, when weight loss stops cut a bit more
It's kind of personal preference. Some people say low carb or even no carbs is the best way to lose weight. Other people (like myself) succeeded in losing weight with low fat high carb. Generally as long as you stay away from sugar (occasional fruit is fine) and liquid calories you'll be good. Just eat lots of veggies, eating nutritious foods is highly important when cutting calories. Also protein as well to keep you from losing all your muscle, unless that's your goal.
Basically some fat and protein is necessary to survive. Carbs are optional.
Protein < Carbs + Fat
If you eat a lot of protein but not a lot of carbs/fat then that can cause problems as well. Everything else is up to you.
>tfw almost lost the weight I gained over break
so close yet so far
Anyone else gain a massive amount of weight on medication? I went from 97lbs to 132lbs (I'm 5'6) over the course of a year, it's disgusting.
I'm finally off the med so it's time to go back to being thin.
Yeah, took Cymbalta for a while, made me gain a bunch and was fucking worthless. Amazing how fast the weight comes off when you stop though. That withdrawal though... wew lads.
Yeah, took Adderall for a while. Long term all drugs don't work though. Good for studying or dropping some weight, but, really needs to be in moderation. Use it to become a normie, and it will help for a little while, but, that's a bad road to go down.
My mom and one of my friends take them and they work great.
Doctors follow a strict schedule for prescribing pills. Usually 2-3 SSRIs followed by an SNRI and then atypical anti-psychotics.
both are appetite suppressants
what are u even asking senpai
i'm very skinny but my levels of strogen are very high i guess, so i kinda look like a girl so i don't own a pretty jawline. what to do? my dad and my mother are very skinny but both of them have a beautiful jawline.
s p o t r e d u c t i o n d o e s n o t e x i s t

I have a few questions for you thinspo motherfuckers:
Are you aware that going below a certain weight is unhealthy and can fuck you up long term?
Do you think achieving your effay slender dream body and the joy you get everytime you see your weight drop is worth the health risk or do you just ignore that aspect completely?
Furthermore, I get that this board is all about aesthetics over practicability. But while I can kind of understand that you find people with insect-like limbs beautiful, from a practical standpoint I can not understand why you would choose being underweight over being really fit. Food is not only fuel for your muscles, but also your brain. If you're going to tell me that you can achieve the same productivity as me on ~600kcal a day, don't, because I will laugh in your face. Being fit has so many advantages, I can't fathom why you would still go thin.
I jus' don' unnerstang, /thinspo/.
Who /tennisforweightloss/ here?
Gonna combine it with ECA stack and coffee/cigarettes for appetite supression. and occasion amphetamine use. also im moving to Berlin so I can dance a lot in cool clubs. might get back into muay thai too
will this make me lose 50 pounds before summer?
I'm dropping a bunch of weight. I started at 216-lbs (5' 10"), then at 175-lbs finally said I need to buy clothing - so bought jeans, etc, but now I'm down to 165-lbs and dropping pretty steady and these new jeans are getting big.
I didn't buy a ton of stuff, but, it's going to suck having them be unusable soon.
fourth for "my nice uniqlo jeans don't fit because they fit when i was 30 pounds heavier" :(
its not i've retrained my tongue to rest along the top of my throat, it improves your facial aesthetics by quite a bit. Its really uncomfortable for like the first 2 weeks but eventually you stop noticing
haha i was with my sister a few nights ago and we decided to get some cigars for fun, I've never smoked one before so I hit this thing like a joint. Toked the whole cigar in 10 minutes, the last hit was so horrible I vomited, only later on did we find out you aren't meant to inhale :/
That's shit advice, women gain muscle in legs really easily. High fashion models are often instructed to avoid squats, lunges and even sprinting in order to lose muscle mass from their legs.
You are not meant to inhale and definitely you're not supposed to take 10 min to smoke a cigar. It should be smoked over a time period of one hour (depending on the cigar), because smoking it too quickly will lower your blood pressure and possibly make you puke.
Is not, worked amazingly for me. I started doing this training program when I was like 12-13 and the women would make me exercise my mouth and tongue to make it so I swallowed properly and had my tongue on the roof of my mouth at all times. I had a narrow jaw with overlapping teeth because of my facial poster. I now have a pretty nice jawline and my teeth haven't moved back after braces (never wear retainer). I will post a side by side of my young jaw and old jaw.
But statistically speaking your day will not be considered, right?
is it true that you have to eat over 1000cal at least once per week so your body speeds up your metabolism again?
i ate around 1200 yesterday and feel like a fat piece of shit today but i gained only 1lb after tons of water & coffee
>am i being trolled?
No. Am I? Sure is reddit in here. Giving you benefit of the doubt, since you are a fellow starving person, let me educate you...
>is there a community of people that believe this?
Yes, >>>/r9k/ has a bunch. People who go to work are called wagecucks or wagies - or whatever variant
There are literally threads every day about it, here is one active now:
Some wagecucks will chime in and generally get rekt by some robot who has perfected their bantz. They'll argue that without work you have plenty of time for self improvement, learning new skills, and live a happier life in general. This is in contrast to busting your ass for some shit job while your boss drives a Ferrari.
> because i don't think this would fly in the us.
Sure it does.
> wtf even is "NEETbux"?
Autismbux, NEETbux, etc. NEET is Not in Employment, Education, or Training in Britbongistan, but 4chan uses it for every place. So "NEETbux" is literally what they call the unemployement or disability pay they get. Autismbux is more about disability pay. NEETbux might also apply if someone inherited a bunch of money and just lives off it.
It might be, but I don't believe in any of that shit. It's all just your total calories compared to your TDEE. If over the week you eat less than your TDEE, you drop weight. I'm sure there are some tricks or something, I mean people do low carb to put their bodies in ketosis or whatever, but end of the day doesn't matter when you eat - it just matters how much. I think it is still better to spread meals out to at least give yourself some energy when you need it.
I remember the honeymoon on that drug. It works great for a while, but after some time at night I'd get really beat up, and morning when I'd take it it took a bit too kick in and I'd feel like ass until it did. Ended up feeling like I was a slave to it while I was on it. Adderall was easier to take on and off, versus Vyvanse I had to take every day or I'd feel like shit because of the physical dependence.
I am 5'11 and probably weigh 155lbs maybe 160. My gf and i broke up and i started eating a lot and have gained about 30 lbs. At first i shrugged it off but now my pants are getting tight. What should I do? My body is used to eating at least once an hour, and I go through withdrawals and get dizzy if ai dont eat every hour. Please help
do you exert force on the back of your tongue or just kind of position it there
after 10 minutes it feels weird
also, does it matter when sleeping? (not that you could control this anyway)
also when running, for example, should I try to maintain this posture or is mouth breathing ok under heavy exertion? thanks
Hey guys fat piggu here. I've lost 40 pound so far and still have like 20 to go (5'4" 180->120). I've noticed my skin is kinda saggy on my chest/belly, is there anything I can do to prevent the dreaded skin flaps while I'm on the home stretch or should I start saving up for surgery? Are scars effay?
Maybe you can just go beyond heroin chic - I present to you, AIDS chic.
If people are just going by pictures, usually yes
Because I'm skinny and have very long legs
And irl it's probably hard to tell because I wear meme doc 1460 monos
I believe in you, Anon
You mainly just sit it there pushing slightly. After a while you forget about it and it's habit. I don't know the doctors title/type sorry, look up tongue posture exercises
the attractiveness of anorexia isn't the issue, but the health aspect is
if these retards want to shorten their lifespan for the sake of niche A E S T H E T I C S they can.
However, the goal of fashion shouldn't be slowly killing yourself to look nice for a bunch of strangers on the internet, but to attempt to look like someone else for a little while, to perhaps build some self-confidence and maybe not feel like a shitty human being. Working out and eating healthily (and sufficiently) have the same effect, but starving yourself like a poor african child will only fuck up your brain chemistry, resulting in a perpetual loop of self-hatred.
Not that this is going to change your minds or anything.
I have Lose it! Premium, how many people would actually be interested in a thinspo group?
I'm on MyFitnessPal. Wish I had some friends on there. Maybe I should have used Lose It but I like having all my historical data.
i think i'm 5'11 i don't really know metrics and every google search says something different
anyway i was at around 68 kg in august, and by just cutting my meals to 1 per day i'm at ~63 now
when things get rough and i gain extra weight, i take around 48 hours with no food and a lot of water, works wonders
thanks, I get it now. /r9k/ sure is a strange place, lol.
well I might research how to get some of this money if I lose hope for a new job, but I think I could get something going within the next 2-3 weeks. wish me luck fām
i think i recently read that strategically indulging yourself can strengthen your resolve to stick to a long-term plan. emphasis on "strategic" though, haphazard binging wont help anyone
weirdly enough i've been on 4chan since about 2009, i frequented /sci/, /g/, /fa/, and /wg/ mostly.
i started following thinspo a couple of months back
guess i didn't really absorb the culture much
