I'm a computer security researcher like our pal Elliot here. I even have a legal Rx for Adderall, Modafinil and Vyvanse. My Doc don't give a shit. It's great.
I'm a lawyer and I'm studying engineering for fun. I also have a few other subspecializations that don't really relate.
My book collection is all over the fucking place.
nice, i'm also a civil engineer. i generally don't go into the field much, but even when i do, i can wear whatever i want as long as i have steel toed boots, high vis vest, and hard hat. i tend to wear my visvim/jap repro pieces on those days.
fashion design could actually have you end up at starbucks
other apparel majors such as product development, production management, etc could actually get you a career
in start ups, you usually have to be able to do everything, so you may very well end up being a company's designer
what I do: biochem student, work in a used book/music store, volunteer sometimes.
hope to do in future: get MD, be a psychiatrist
Dunno if effay but I love every second of all of it.
Logistics and supply chain management. I am a middle manager.
The management level dresses well. Great fitting suits, high quality cardigans and actually some nice colour combinations in the summer and spring.
The operational guys dress like pic related.
1. MODS MODS MODS
2. It's alright, I genuinely love math and design so it's fun to me. If you're not good at math I'd spend a summer practicing very hard, you're gonna have an awful time in any engineering if you're not at least pretty competent. I currently work for a computer science lab so I fuck around with software programming as well, which gives me enough money to afford a couple good purchases every year. It's really all up to you, as cliche as that sounds.
Where do you find inspiration for designs? I always thought the open endedness of industrial design would be difficult considering you're still learning while also being expected to come up with unique ideas. Like being thrown into a production environment as a sophomore mech engineer, crazy.
Boring so far, hope I can find out what I really want to do in the future and earn big :(
Most effay job: something that makes an impact or changes the world or even small scale like your city somehow. Where you can see in person how your efforts or work made a difference to the lives of others or just to the general environment. Shit I think typing this gave me an idea of where to start looking.
