This is more or less accurate.

J.Crew's main line is fairly decent quality. There are some hits and misses like any brand in their category, but most of their stuff is surprisingly nice. J.Crew "Factory" doesn't fall into this category, as it's a discount brand sold at outlet malls.

I honestly like a lot of their stuff, even if it is kinda basic. It's more or less what Polo Ralph Lauren should be.

It's comparable to Banana Republic. Clothes for yuppies and people in the "upper middle class". The clothes are nice and held up well. Don't buy full price.
