I really tried to stay away from all that with this build tho. Its a raw steel frame with a little splash of color. Road biking is just as much, if not more, about components also. I work in a bike shop, and the most expensive bike we carry, by far, is a road bike.

if you're looking for a cheap fixed gear and insist on getting a new one, buy a mercier kilo tt from bikesdirect.com. if you're smart and don't care about getting a shiny new bike, go to craigslist and find a bike in your size with a cromoly steel frame and components that don't look like cheap garbage. if you need help with that, go to /n/ and post in their /bbg/ thread and they'll help you.
