anyone got a fuji feather? my old single speed bike is old as fuck and i could just get a new bike
>>10865575
not to tell you how to live your life or anything anon but you can find something much more "cool" (as in probably vintage or older, but much higher quality and more interesting) for the same price as this cookie cutter piece of shit
but with like 7x as much character :^)
Like this for example
(http://www.ebay.com/itm/GROUND-UP-TRACK-BIKE-58-CM-COLUMBUS-STEEL-CAMPAGNOLO-RECORD-VIVALO-/151859205446?hash=item235b839546%3Ag%3AnzcAAOSwhcJWKlay&nma=true&si=SZIx2eEy71XBTy9alGEn0mt6PWA%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557)

my guy is right, shit's not really any better than what you could get on bikes direct, vintage is a good avenue. I used to be really into old keirin bikes, those are pretty fa imo
I took my dad's Viscount bicycle when he was in college. The thing's an absolute tank of a bike
Are we doin MTB as well?
>>10866774
The techwear of bikes
>>10866818
What do you mean?
>>10866893
not them, and hardly know dick all about techwear, but MTBs are much about the componentry, i suppose it's much akin to technical fabrics and shit
>>10866917
I really tried to stay away from all that with this build tho. Its a raw steel frame with a little splash of color. Road biking is just as much, if not more, about components also. I work in a bike shop, and the most expensive bike we carry, by far, is a road bike.
need a track bike for errands. i race with this one though
>>10866774
Kill it with fire.

Fixie boi
Switched the drops out for pursuit bars recently.
>>10868883

You have no idea how long I've waited for a bike thread
Is there such a thing as a fixed bike with the brakes in a non awkward position?
How do you even ride fixies?
How much do fixies cost on average?
>>10873608
>in a non awkward position
what does that even mean? have any examples?
>>10873625

Half tempted to get this bike.
>>10873745
>have any examples
I meant something like this >>10873784 thus is exacly what I'm looking for
if you're looking for a cheap fixed gear and insist on getting a new one, buy a mercier kilo tt from bikesdirect.com. if you're smart and don't care about getting a shiny new bike, go to craigslist and find a bike in your size with a cromoly steel frame and components that don't look like cheap garbage. if you need help with that, go to /n/ and post in their /bbg/ thread and they'll help you.
>>10873929
Or you know just go to a bike shop and talk to a pro
>>10873753
lot of money for a heavy bike. I work at a bike shop and we have a dogma come in occasionally with full dura ace and it still clocks in over 17 lbs
>>10873935
They arent pros.
>>10874232
huh, never knew that. they look so fucking good but at that price point, not getting performance that matches the bill isn't worth it
>>10874440
pinas are rare in the US but I'd still get a cervelo over it.
