I'm looking for a lightweight bomber.
I like the ones from alpha industries but the sizing is confusing, and the particular one I was looking at didn't have any reviews. any recommendations on good bombers?
I'd like to spend less than the alpha industries ones, ($115-145) but recc what you can / know to be good please.

its pretty puffy and big. I have the maroon one in a medium and most likely gonna try to resell and get a small

rothco is cheaper and apparently very similar in quality to AI

the reviews are so confusing. some say they run big, buy two sizes smaller. others say they're small, buy a size larger.

I don't know about Rothco's bombers but their other jackets like N-2B are extremely puffy compared to AI

They're fucking huge. I'm a fat fuck and a medium is gigantic even for me, two sizes smaller sounds right. They look like complete shit without alteration, but what I did to make it look better is take out all of the padding through a small cut on the inside of the sleeve.
Huge improvement, if you don't mind it being not warm. They're cheap enough that it's a fun project even if you hate it.

>fad
I'm buying it because I like it senpai. I know they're trendy right now, but they've always been a good option.

i have a bomber from topman that was around $100. it fits well and seems fairly well-made. you should check them out.

Literally can get this(dickies team jacket),same as a bomber, will be warm and not at all puffy. With dickies order a size or two up they tend to be slimmer fitting. They sell it both lined and unlined and costs like $50. Ive always worn dickies for work and love it.

I have this, the color is darker than the regular sage green on issue MA-1s, OG-107 yank uniforms, or the usual ODs used in surplus garment.

still can't tell lol.
is it browish / green depending on the lighting?
>>10855205
how expensive would it be to get something like that professionally altered anyway
sleeves shortened and whatnot
>>10857337
A coat? Expensive enough that it doesn't make sense doing it, might as well save that money and put it towards something that actually fits
This is not that light tho, it's heavy (for your heart)

don't know that I want dickies tho
>>10857960
well I'm fucking small so most outerwear doesn't fit me in the smallest size because XS is actually for medium men

In my experience these military jackets are typically oversized. So you buy a size smaller, especially with things like the M65 jacket.
im 6'1 180 lbs and have ops bomber in a large. its completely fine, not too puffy and if i went any smaller it would be super short and unwearable. not sure what everyone is talking about itt
