were is /fa/ from ?
Portland , Oregon , USA
checking in ..
what the fuck is the point of this thread?
Why do you care where other people from this board are from?
Is it so that you can feel better about your shitty fits by convincing yourself everybody else is from fashion capitals?
Or is this one of those /boardcultre/ things that people do because they have nothing else in their lives?
Sorry if i'm being a dick, but this shit is really baffling.
I saw some of you Gothenburg fags in another thread, represent.
Michigan but I don't want to be (and I've only been here two years).
Looooooots of young Muslims drink, especially the guys. A lot of Muslims under 30 aren't super pious, though they have to hide it from family.
Black Muslims are rarer than black Christians though.
>tfw its impossible to wear layers
>tfw the style you want would make you sweat bullets
Bay boy reporting in. Pretty /fa/ here, been seeing allot more doc martens though recently- slightly worrisome.
if you ever think of coming here for the "creative capitol", don't bother, the city pretty much completely destroyed that by/while trying to capitalize on it. Street artists being fined inordinate amounts of money and facing prison time when they can't pay, scumbag landlords evicting art/music spaces to build condos in their ~trendy~ mill buildings for Brown/RISD yuppies to move into after graduation, etc
it was so beautiful and it's dying
save me /fa/
Southland - New Zealand
Tons of trends come from London yes, and many subcultures as well... But generally, no. Most britbongs dress like SHIT and look fucking disgusting. Every britbong is ugly in their own unique way. It's amazing, really. Some have round potato faces and some have bean shaped heads with wavy black hair. But they're all ugly. That's a rule of thumb.
/swede working in London
Gothenburg is pretty cool. I haven't been there much though, I live in Stockholm on Södermalm, leftist capital of Sweden. But at least there's some cool fashion innovation around those parts. Lots of Nordic streetwear.
(yeah I know, HONHONHON BAGUETTE)
the home of mki (even though its not that great)
Manz from Southampton, UK.
It's a really fucking boring shithole.
I was gonna post a picture of the city but there's literally no interesting pictures to post because it's a really fucking boring shithole.
No effay shops either as far as I can tell. Just high street fuckery.
Northwest Portland fuccboi checking in
Sad as fucks
Victoria reporting in 8 degrees right now
Nice to see the BC senpai is more spread than Vancouver
I've seen a lot of vanfags on /fa/ (judging by these threads). Used to live there myself but way too expensive.
Muskego actually, Waukesha county.
Yes it's terrible but so is everywhere else in this corner of the state.
Living in rural up north is so much more effay.
Kenosha is bad but it's better than any of Illinois, you state traitor fuck.
God why don't you just go to Chicago and get a bunch of black people to shoot you in the face if you love it so much.
It's cause you ain't about the pacific lifestyle
We can do without your generalizing vibes, man
I'd love to disagree with you but sometimes I can't handle how normal these people are. And the hicks my god.
The sacrifices we make to live in all white communities.
I'd rather be in Utah though.
Off the hook on saint cath if you're into street fashion. They carry yeezys, bape pretty much expensive street wear. Other than that I am more of a shop at village des valeurs near Namur type of indie fag
because you're a retarded american.
skylines belong in central business districts.
what you are looking at is southwark/city of london which is a tiny percentage of the city.
nyc for fuck's only has 2 areas with skyscrapers.
it looks unimpressive because you are a sheltered, middle american cucklet shitposter who doesnt know shit.
prolly never been to london, let alone europe.
San José, Costa Rica. Third-world shithole #108377492 Just look at this shit.
There was this qt in my uni who left for Maastricht Conservatorium. Only one of two fuckable girls in the faculty and she left.
ehh, why not, i´m moving out this summer anyways, i´m probably the only person in the whole city who knows how to dress properly
>tfw ~15°c all year
>tfw can wear FW clothes all year
layering is obligatory here, even during summer, even if the sun hits hard as fuck, in the shadows its still 10°c, its the only thing i will miss about this thirdworld shithole
reppin the 303 here
>drove into Aurora yesterday
>9.99 for shitty fucking sweet and sour chicken with white rice at some shitty fucking counter service gook joint
>shit was fucking disgusting
>what a fucking shithole
not from seattle but was just there last weekend
i have to agree w the bit about totokaelo
the space was beautiful and they have a great selection, but the staff was completely lifeless + prices were steep even w the end of season sale
visited trichome and it was on the complete opposite side of the spectrum
the owner was cool as fuck, brands, although limited were more interesting pieces c.e. ccp softs, p.a.m. etc.
idk barneys and nordstrom are alright especially on sale. I found an Arcteryx Veilance sweater at the latter for 150. I kinda agree about Totokaelo as well. Never been to Trichrome but probably will go when I get the chance.
Where are you thinking of moving?
I've lived in Boulder and FoCo, both were aight, the little resort towns that aren't as shitty as like Aspen but still lack a middle class are aight too (Crested Butte, etc.)
I guess it's cool if you're heroin-chic.
We've had a recent spike in the hipster population. Also too many 20-something university students floating around.
chilling chilling enjoying my day off. what's up with you man and that's dope. I'd love to meet someone off of here. Life has been boring af since me and my ex broke up. Job keeps me busy tho, so that's good.
Born in London.
Currently living in Cardiff.
Everyone here dresses like a retard, so I get complimented quite often, unlike when I was living near High Street Kensington.
>Pic related is how the average man in Cardiff dresses
I like Toto. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and the space is beautiful.
For more heritage stuff I like Hammer & Awl, which was just down the street from my old house, and Glasswing Shop in Melrose Market. They both stock brands like Apolis, Filson, Billykirk. The focus is on well-made goods.
Jackstraw downtown has good stuff like EG, Blue Blue, and Issey.
Ian is right around the corner from Jackstraw and has a good selection of denim as well as Topo bags. They have really friendly staff.
Barneys and Nordstrom are nice for well known labels and you can get some killer deals at the Rack. Arc'teryx is down near there too if you need outerwear.
I'm not into streetwear, but there are plenty of good shops on the hill like Bait, Alive & Well, 35th North, and Likelihood.
Hope this helps!
> it isn't a top tier school
It's included in the Russell Group Universities, which is the top 24 best Universities in the UK (it was previously 20, of which Leeds was also included). It has been ranked internationally as a pretty great University too. There's 2-3 new shopping centres being built in Leeds at the moment too, one of which is owned by John Lewis and will employ 550 people. It has so many places to shop for clothes too.
do you know her?
Basically to Portland what Reno is to Vegas.
what the fuck are you talking about, moron?
nyc here. Are you countin all of manhattan as one 'area'? That's pretty fucking stupid. You're also forgetting Brooklyn Heights and LIC which have skyscrapers themselves and are in bklyn and queens, respectively.
I guess london is a cuck city.
Port st lucie, FL. Same deal. Who the fuck knows anything cept' Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Daytona and tampa. Literally nowhere else exists in florida to the rest of the united states.
