Just got this sweater for work and i'm looking for some advice on what to wear with it. obviously jeans will work but should i only wear a solid colored button down under it or would patterns work? should i go for some textured pants like wool slacks? any interesting color combinations that will work?

I'm aware you might all think this is hideous but i have my reasons for buying it

i am pretty fit and attractive (douche thing to say i know) so i'm not worried about looking cringey. it's polo ralph lauren, i work there so i got it real cheap. corduroy sounds perfect for pants, any thoughts on solid vs pattern shirt underneath?
