I shampoo with African black soap roughly once every two weeks. I eat really clean and shower daily so it mostly takes care of itself

do you wet your hair?

I'm at the beach about five times per week at the moment, so I condition frequently and have leave in conditioner in my hair almost daily. Shampoo pretty much only when I get my hair trimmed or when someone insists for a shoot. A quality dry shampoo will take care of the rare days when your hair gets oily, and will actually provide volume to compensate for all the conditioner.

Haven't used poo in over a year. I clean my scalp manually with water only. Hair very healthy and clean, and it doesn't smell at all.

I've been doing it for a couple of weeks and it's great. Using just water, that baking soda and apple cider is rubbish

Yes. The smell depends on the dirt obviously, but dirty (not just greasy) hair smells bad. Grease is the most common reason people use shampoo, which is stupid because scalp produces more grease when you use shampoo.

ive been no poo for about a month now and its definitely worth it. im almost at my goal hair but its still a bit dry towards the ends and brushing it only makes it silky smooth evenly for a couple of hours

What are you?

Do you use any conditioner? I've started to wash my hair with poo every day and now I use it maybe twice a week. However, I use conditioner every time that I wash off.

So pretty much: 1. wash hair with water, 2. put conditioner, 3. wash skin, 4. wash conditioner away.

Never. Conditioner is supposed to prevent damage and dryness caused by poo. When you do nopoo you don't need conditioner either.

also even before bleaching I could only get down to 2 a week bc my hair got kinda gross after 4ish days no matter how thoroughly I would rinse
