Can someone explain to me what "basic" even means? I didn't run with the trendy girls in school so I think I missed the memo.

Basic means average, boring. What 90% of girls on the street would wear. But it does not mean fast fashion as some good fits can be put together with shit from uniqlo, topshop, asos shit. Basically just unoriginal.
