/fa/ I got a tattoo on my arm last Friday that's been scabbing. Some text in fraktur 1.5 inch tall. I applied A&D oil next two days like my guy recommended, maybe I used too much, the whole thing was evenly scabbed a couple days later. Not a ton but it is visibly raised.
It gets very dry if I don't air it out or wash it. Should I be keeping it dry so it finishes scabbing and falls off or keeping it moist?

Keep it moist. I used unscented lotion on mine (simple hieroglyphs around my upper arm).
Don't "wash" it too often, and only very gently rinse for a little and softly pat it dry. Like, when I got mine done I tried to keep that arm out of the shower stream as much as possible.

that German 2k16 sentence doesn't make sense

Kk will do. I've been told to use unscented lotion but not sure if I should've applied while its scabbing.

none of mine have scabbed over in the slighted, they're not really supposed to. just lightly apply bepanthen (or any similar) cream when it starts to dry out.

also post your tattoo

Says intrus. The air's very dry lately and it's been kept covered because winter. The scabbing got 'worse' today, edges are white, the t has a crack and some of the bottom of the S has even fallen off, but the ink looks perfect underneath. Seems like I can just wait for it to fall off naturally.
I would just contact the guy who did it but I'm in a different city and don't have my phone. It's my first, btw.

looks very normal. Use regular lotion if it feels dry and itchy, just don't actually scratch it or you might need to go back for touch ups sooner than normal

It is fine, keep using that product you have from beginning. Dont scratch, let it breathe at eventually it will fall off after few days. Remember to keep moisturizing even after it falls off
