okay i bought some boots today bc Canadian weather, I like timbs but I feel I don't fit the demographic so this is what I settled with. Thoughts? What pants are they acceptable with? Thanks

What city? I'm a Torontofag so my thoughts might not apply...
Jeans or Cargos. Some Dadcore/Workwear/Lumberjack shit. They look pretty terrible, but they clearly serve a practical purpose. I would have gone with Bean boots and extra socks for a slimmer silhouette but similar levels of weather protection. Just don't wear them with beige pants that match the upper leather, anything bright and colourful, or super skinny pants.

thanks ik I fucked up they're fine for uni tho right?

looked em up and saw this, surprisingly i prefer what I have to what u recommended, these look way too shiny and almost feminine for me.
>>10826676
They're a little overkill unless you're wading through ankle high snow consistently, but no one is going to look at you sideways for wearing them. How do you normally dress?

corduroys
>>10826686
The heel certainly doesn't help in terms of femininity, but they make several colourways. I prefer these. And they aren't all that shiny irl, especially once you beat em up a bit.
not op but should you cuff or tuck your pants?
>>10826688
I don't want to look tryhardish at school so I focus on my color scheme. I usually wear a bomber or heavy windbreaker with a layering under a crew neck or hoodie. Then jeans, khakis, or cargos depending on the top.

I forgot to think of that, its very true! I agree those mayve been better (my silhouette < beans) but they were significantly cheaper so idk
>>10826711
Only if you're trying to actually prevent snow/slush/salt from getting in contact with them. It generally looks cringe to tuck your pants into boots. Cuffing is just impractical.

Sounds like you're fine. What Uni btw? I used to go to Seneca.
>>10826735
My dad works at seneca haha! :') I'm currently doing tours but most likely going to waterloo
>>10826667
Oh god, don't worry about it. The weather here right now is swinging wildly from rain to sleet to shitty snow, and it'll be slush soon so these will help with that. Just avoid super tight pants or else you'll have kangaroo feeet

>ever since i left the city you
