To those with curly hair:
I've finally found the solution to get from pic related level of curls, to wavy/straight hair (i.e. common).
And it's fucking simple:
>wash with shampoo
>then wash with a generous amount of conditioner
>shake a lot to lose most of the water
>put on a beanie
Wait with the beanie on from 30-60 minutes, and your hair will be straight. I leave a bit coming out the front so that it goes wavy there.
This works, but leaves your head pretty flat and lifeless. I'm copping some sea salt spray and I'm gonna see if that helps.
However this will likely not work if you have very curly hair like OP's pic
>wash with shampoo of choice before bed
>press your hair with your hands until the water squeezes out
>pat dry with towel
>place beanie on
Wake up with straight hair for that day?
I'm obsessed with my hair so I take pics once in a while. Left is April or something, right is mid August.
Dude, did you just not wash it for three months or did you actually take care of it during this period?
Because there's a major difference. For starters, did you condition your hair during this period?
I co-washed my hair and put argan oil on as leave in conditioner, washed it with a cleansing shampoo when stuff built up.
I used to try to make my curly hair staight but at the end I just embraced it, I did the "no poo" thing and I couldn't be happier desu
