High riders that go up to your navel are pretty hipster. I think it's an old school look because girls wanted to show of their asses before skinny jeans and leggings were a thing. Yeah but make sure the jeans are cut to match your body type. You can see that those are cut for a slimmer girl and thats why the pockets are wayyy to the side
