Why are sketchy instagrams "in" among the "cool" effay kids? I'm talking in terms of picture picture quality and what not. Is this just an ironic trend?

Personally I hate it, as its awfully counterproductive if you're trying to show off a fit.

I noticed this with the hipster that go to bard college. they post weird digi art and pics of them sitting on dirty floors and in gross subways for a cool aesthetic but they all just look dirty.
