If you want your laces to stay tight, and you want to use your shoes like slip ons, you're gonna ruin the back cushion of your shoe if you keep forcing your foot into it. If you use something like U-Laces it wont ruin the cushion since you can just stretch the sides of the shoes to put your foot in easily
