As much as I hate the cheaper pieces, Zara has some decent coats, jackets and boots. But then again I live in huebr land where Zara gets stuff from their other stores all over the world.

For staples, never buy female tops (shirts, button downs, etc) the fit is NOT intended for the male upper body. You can do as I do and shop "fancier" kid/teen sections, all of my polos and button downs are from those. Lacoste, Polo and etc all make good staples for 12-16 year olds. Most stuff fit for late teens fit skinny adults up to size S, sometimes M. As a bonus, they usually reserve the best patterns for those lines (like subtle color play, interesting patterns, etc).

I´m 179 cm tall with 100 cm chest and 80 cm waist, so I´m inbetween 48 and 50 (euro size - 38-40 us).

Nothing fits me. Pants are too long and shorter pants are too tight around the waist.
Stuff for my upper body is also always too long and shorter stuff is too tight around the shoulders.
