I mostly wear simpler stuff: black or grey jeans, solid tees, neutral sweaters, dark hoodies, rick leather jackets, vintage wool coats.
I'm leaning towards the raf velcro highs.
Anyone have a better suggestions?
if I had that money set aside for shoes, I'd get either a pair of nice shell cordovan shoes
or
guidis

modern raf highs are made in portugal fyi
Ultimately there is no best shoe, just get what you think suits you/your wardrobe.

>spending $1000 on shoes without knowing for sure what you want
not a good idea lmao
The rafidas all black Stan smiths.
Those margielas in that one post Malone vid.

>not just buying fake velcros
>implying anyone can tell the difference

raf velcro fakes are low quality

OP here. Cool suggestions, but I already have boots and am really just looking for sneakers.

I have the money. Why not spend it? I'm not one to feel buyer's remorse, so I'd rather cop something this week.
>>10802484
are these the margielas that you are talking about? I like them, but not as much as the velcros
>>10802485
you're retarded

I just ordered the last fucking pair of Velcros in EU44 from Tres-Bien and it says Made In Italy
http://tres-bien.com/raf-simons/classic-velcro-sneakers-black
How the hell do I notice the difference between the Portuguese and Italian leather pairs? I've heard the tongue on the Italians say Size number/style code and "Made In Italy" in Gold but I've also heard that their also exists a pair with JUST numbers in Silver.
Also there are pairs with black metal straps to make it Triple black and there are pairs with silver velcro locks like in pic-related.
How do I paint them in black/make them all blacked out?
i wish i have the heart to buy raf his, i have the money, but buying raf means i have to eat like a poor man, no bars, no outings, no shoppings for 3 months minimum. maybe next year. maybe.

yea, im not sure. Might only be possible with an in-person comparison of the two (quality and whatnot)
Surprised that Tres-Bien is selling new made in italy velcros. I think they haven't been in production for 2-3 years now.
>>10802540
i tell u why there's so many differences
1st made in italy
2nd made in portugal
3rd now made in italy again
4th now slimmer heel/ankle
each of those models is slightly different
