Since I completely lost sense of a healthy eating pattern, I was interested in what /fa/ eats in a day.
I thought that in /fa/ I could get the best answers.

When I work
>McDonalds breakfast with coffee
>snack on random shit throughout my shift
>get home and forget to eat until 10

Rice w an onion a pepper and kidney beans
Snack maybe a couple of Apples and nuts
Chocolate bourban biscuits if I'm feeling greedy

>banana or apple
>some trail mix or granola bar
>junk foods(pizza, chicken burger, etc)

>drink half a quart of organic whole milk as a snack during work
>eat fish and/or broccoli for supper
Down to 153 lbs senpai. Should be looking like pic related around 145
>coffee, cigarettes and water all day
doctor told me I'm dying though oh well
Ramen, eggs, pizza, bananas, sandwiches, rice, tuna, cereal, burgers, stuff like that. This is kind of a pointless thread.
But anon it isn't.
The study that this rumour is based on involved a total of seven test subjects eating 42 servings of soy per day. The researchers threw away five of the seven results because they didn't fit the data they wanted. The remaining two subjects started the study with higher than average testosterone, one of them remarkably abnormal.
The study measured the drop in testosterone. Neither went into any critically weird "women" state. They just didn't have stupid high testosterone anymore. After eat 42 servings of soy per day for a month.
Meanwhile dairy cattle receive estrogen injections/supplements so that you can drink their already hormone-filled milk.
All research that follow actual scientific principles has shown soy to be perfectly safe. Start worrying about the other shit you put in your body.
morning: 2-3cups coffee
glass of water
lunch: a cigarette or two
evening: adderall 20mg
a few drinks
every other day or so i'll get some drunk food around 2am
Will skipping lunch make me more /fa/? Or should I avoid breakfast more?
Usually natural yoghurt and chocolate cereal for breakfast, I feel guilty
Bread and stuff later, occasionally canteen lunch
rice waffles if I cannot resist
Anyone who tells you that being muscular is not sexy and attractive is a chicken-legged no-trap gains goblin.
Being muscular also makes all of your clothing instantly look better on you.
Just be careful about developing a man donk.
Exactly. That's like 100 calories burned.
Fat fucks are actually like "I can have a cookie afterwards since I worked hard" and that cookie is 300 calories and they complain all the time about how life is injust and muh metabolism.
I don't want to be healthy, I want to be able to wear skinny jeans
Seriously: I am too autistic to go into a gym, and running will probably make my legs even huger. Or not? Might take it up in spring
I thought about swimming - like going swimming every morning before work. Don't know what to do about my hair then though
I do like 30 push-ups and 20 sit-ups every morning and evening though
Distance running will not make your legs larger. Aerobic exercise increases the efficiency of energy use. Anaerobic exercise makes them strong/larger. Avoid sprints and you'll be fine.
If anything your legs will become smaller as you burn the fat stored there.
>move to nyc
>start chain smoking like a gremlin
>start eating more, unhealthy as fuck stuff all day
>heavy drinking adds on even more calories
>lose weight because of the walking
4 eggs cooked in butter. Anchovies or sardines.
Spinach or kale soaked in olive oil and vinegar with some chicken and feta cheese.
Onions, peppers, and garlic sauteed in butter and olive oil. Chicken thighs or hamburger patty. Roasted asparagus or broccoli.
Always start the day with a fuckton of oats and coffee and have a protein shake after lifting. Rest of the day it's pretty random but I try and stick to the following rules:
No high glycemic foods, lots of fruit and veg, lots of protein, no dairy, lots of water and go for "real" food instead of processed stuff.
I think that's in relation to modern 3000 calorie diets of obese fucks.
As long as you output what you intake you're good.
But for you fucks that spend most of your day sitting on a bus/car, in class, and at a computer desk with minimal walking between - yeah, less is better.
Breakfast: Porridge with raisins and soya milk. Done on THE HOB. Coffee if I've got time. Apple/orange. Glass of water.
Lunch: Either nothing or a can of soup and/or a couple pieces of fruit
Noice, I'd like to cycle that much but the weather is shitty this time of year I live in a hilly area -quite discouraging. I won't cap more than 50 miles a week. Good job senpai.
I am an extreme skelly and I am trying to gain weight but here is what I usually eat, blogfriends:
Lunch: Maybe a sandwich, maybe nothing
Dinner: Usually go out to a restaurant
Look anon. You're not going to gain weight like that.
If the problem is that your stomach is tight and cramped and you feel full after eating very little then you're going to have to do something gross to get enough calories to put on weight.
Eat loads of butter or vegetable oil with everything. If you can do it consistently and not want to puke, eat it straight. Butter/vegetable oil is almost pure fat, the most calorie dense macronutrient.
To all yall haters:
There are people that feel like shit every morning and don't want to cook food or eat shit tier cereal
A full meal replacement consumed in seconds makes sense. Also soylent doesn't contain soy (I think), but it is shit meme tier compared to other more serious meal replacement products.
oh fuck off, the only thing it's missing is bacon, and coffee isn't part of any breakfast -it's a drink to have with the meal
>not contemplating the quantity as well as the identity
I'm doing a physics masters
I'm fatasfatass currently.
I had a protein meal bar and a dose of Performix SST for breakfast.
Had a cup of tea for lunch. I actually completely forgot to eat lunch and i'm not all that hungry.
Don't know what i'll do for dinner.
morning: cigarette, cup or two of black keureg coffee, ativan
lunch: oatmeal w dried fruit/nuts and honey, cigarette
dinner: salad consisting of apples/pears white cheddar chunks spinach arugula mint leaves and balsamic dressing, OR just grapes, blueberries, and carrot sticks if i'm not that hungry, maybe another cigarette before i head to bed
am also trying to drink a LOT more water than i usually do, i constantly get migraines bc i don't have enough
BREKFAST: milk & nesquik with oatmeal
lunch: It depends, but mostly mediterranean diet (3 dishes --- 1- carbohydrates or/and vegetables 2- steak or fish 3- dessert)
dinnah: eggs & fries / milk & nesquik with oatmeal if im feelin lazy / something very fancy if im in tha mood
breakfast: apple with glass of water
Lunch: Handful of Spinach and half of a cumber with black coffee cup of water after
Dinner: Random assortment of fruits and veggies and cup of water
Im vegan btw and also drink water throughout the day. My breakfast and lunch are usually always the same, but I usually mix it up for dinner which is fine. I stay away from avocados too, too high in fat
>rice and beans, one banana
>banana cinammon oatmeal (made with milk or one egg)
>rice and beans, braised chicken, banana
>rice and beans, chicken, banana or orange
Chicken, rice and beans are versatile so you can make them taste different everyday, but of course only if you are non american.
sausage is the only real english breakfast food there
scrambled egg at a push, although it really should be fried
breakfast tea is standard accompaniment
you're flyover is showing
Nothing wrong with napa yo, but this is what I'm drinking tonight, more modest.
Eat something, anon. You're going to die and make the other vegans look bad because you can't feed yourself.
Eat some grains and legumes. Also, vegetable fat does not have the same slowly-killing-you effect as animal fat. Just don't over eat for your weight.
I don't like hurting animals, you can call me a pussy all you want but I just feel really bad about treating creatures with less awareness than humans like something to be consumed and only to be consumed, I understand why people eat meat and i don't care or get up in there face if they do I just don't want to hurt anything.
because i realistically can't avoid dairy products and live a very healthy life(at least right now) and even though it does harm them at least it doesn't kill them.
Oh well if it's not something you're able to do right now then I understand. Hopefully you'll consider it in the future when your living situation improves.
Have a beautiful day, anon.
thanks anon! Those were some really kind words~!
I'm not fat
Sandwich or salad
Sandwich or salad
Backed by coffee, water and green tea throughout the day
This is during the week/at work btw. During the weekends I just eat whatever I'm having when I'm out at dinner w friends or at a restaurant w my girlfriend. I'm <10% bf this way so it works pretty cash
>majority of posters ITT claiming a daily diet hovering around one thousand to fifteen-hundred calories
>no one posts their bodies
>every WAYWT thread demonstrates an overwhelming amount of skinnyfats and pudgy posters
>every "Post Your Body" thread has even more misshapen and skinnyfat posters than WAYWT threads
BR: bowl of muesli, yoghurt, raisins, chia- and hempseed
LU: 3 slices of bread, toasted with banana and vegan cream cheese
DI: 1,5 plates of whatever I'm cooking. Usually heavy on the veggies with little to no meat.
i used to have ~1000kcal daily intakes until my phone broke, now i gained wight due to the fact i cant count my calories
its not hard to keep a ~1000kcal, you just have to be conscious of what you eat and how much you eat
>Breakfast - 100 cal snack bar
>Lunch - 100 cal snack bar
>Dinner - 1000 calories of whatever I want
I'm that guy who eats a ton of shit but is still super skinny. On Wednesdays I replace dinner with lunch because I do exercise in the evening, on Sundays I have a huge English brekfast and nothing else
>you're flyover is showing
please restructure that insult
Breakfast: Bran flakes (dry) and coffee
Lunch: A sandwich but usually nothing
Dinner: Something home made, a shit tonne of frozen veggies, coffee
Before bed snack: Frozen veggies on toast with mayonnaise
about two liters of water through the day, how am i doing?
Pic related for breakfast
50/50 between homecooked and take-out. Today asian take-out (orange chicken, yakiniku and thai beef)
Later on some bread/fruit/snacks and a gainer. Gotta get out of skinnyfat mode and actually start filling out clothes.
What are what you, fucking retarded? That's like half of what an average GIRL is supposed to eat/day.
Ya'll need to enjoy life some more, faggots.
thanks for proving i was right i guess
its only an insult if you take it as one
Exercise is pretty stupid in general For weight loss (not for getting fit). Just counting calories is all people need .. And that's pretty easy to predict. Walking is good for other reasons like getting your body to take more shits and keeping your general health better
>still eating food
Get with the times. Nothing is more fa than not eating at all.
he's not, there's no correlation between exercise and weight loss.
People up the amount they're eating when they exercise.
The only thing that leads to weight loss is change in diet or maintenance of diet when exercising.
I don't think you understand what is understood.
You lose weight by operating at a calorie deficit. This is known.
The way exercise helps this is by upping your energy expenditure. If you have some self control and don't binge eat to compensate, you will increase your deficit and accelerate weight loss.
That is what is being stated.
forgive my vernacular, you're a pedantic fecker regarding your memes and the english breakfast :)
/fa/, how the fuck do you even convince your family and friends to buy you Honey Nut Cheerios?
Every time I see them advertised on the television they look beyond delicious and I can't get the theme song out of my head!
Typically all that I'm given by family and friends is Raisin Bran or Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Clusters. I appreciate the gesture but I can't convince people to give me Honey Nut Cheerios as a gift.
Are they as good as advertised?
Not that anon, but, I just get more hungry when I exercise. Sure you can say "just have some self control" and that is very true, but, might as well just not eat the 200 calories you would have burned off.
And really I know so many people that exercise a bunch and don't lose anything. The people who lose weight are the ones not eating much. I agree that if they had self control after they'd be better off, but, in practice just doesn't seem to work that way.
breakfast : 30gr of cereal with nuts/seeds, tea, low sugar fruit
lunch : vegetarian/vegan meal, single plate, usually mediterranean cuisine
dinner : sometimes cake, sometimes main with fish, most of the time whole wheat past with veggies.
I'm around 1k cal a day, since I take small servings only. Currently 54kg going for <50
some cereal with skim milk. Ends up being about 450kcal.
chicken breast (5oz) with some salad. I figure it at 500kcal
fish, maybe some starch and salad. ~500kcal again.
I think daily I eat between 1400-1600kcal. This works pretty well for me where I'm thin but not starving myself. I'm a 5' 11" male 167lbs and dropping. Last year dropped 48lbs. I think if I stay at 1400-1600kcal should be able to get lean enough. I'm doing it to look better but also just for general health, I'll likely never be effay by this boards definition.
This is likely because you and these inept people you know are not properly hydrated before, during, and after exercise. By the 1st Law of Thermodynamics you cannot destroy energy, people actually believe their metabolisms can trump this fundamental axiom: the body cannot easily distinguish hunger and thirst and unless you understand this, you will keep falling into the same trap over and over.
I'm a skelly manlet and if I eat < 2000 kcal/day I have trouble sleeping because I'm so fucking hungry. You can't seriously mean you're not starving yourself eating that little. It's not healthy bro.
Would explain why my piss is thick is butter, and so yellow too.
But seriously, as a man, you should be eating ~2500 kcal/day. Unless you exercise, in which case a little more.
Why do you deny food?
My TDEE would be something like 1900kcal at 150lbs. So to drop a pound a week from my current weight of 167 (-3500kcal / week), that's about 1500kcal daily I should be eating. I wouldn't say that is extreme at all.
Once I get to 150lbs I'm going to see how I feel, and if comfy there then I can eat 1800-2000kcal and not gain from that weight. That said, now that I'm used to eating less, I might just keep going lower. The real thing I've found while dropping this weight is I don't NEED that much food to feel good. If anything I enjoy eating less because I hate the feeling after I eat of being super full.
I don't think 5'11"/150 lbs is healthy, man. That's what your average skinny girl at 5'7" should weight.
Speaking very generally:
Breakfast: Oats and Agave Nectar
Lunch: Some sort of chicken breast + veggies combo
Dinner: Trying to cook something or, more often than not, frozen bullshit
I also have small relatively healthy snacks throughout the day.
I don't count calories. I used to be more obsessed with hitting my macros, but I did so to a point that increased my overall caloric intake, so I just don't bother now.
>I don't think 5'11"/150 lbs is healthy, man. That's what your average skinny girl at 5'7" should weight.
That's a BMI of 21 m8, basically "perfect" on the chart (I understand these charts aren't really respected anymore, but, gives a general idea). Are you shitposting?
Breakfast: Usually just coffee, I don't have an appetite until noon or so. If I'm really fiending for something, I'll make instant oats or something leftover from a conference room.
Lunch: Fast food of some kind. Burger, burrito, or some kind of bowl I can eat at my desk. Or leftover conference room food.
Dinner: Depends on my appetitie, usually soemthing easy like baked chicken or pasta.
breakfast: a full serving of any fruits or fruit smoothy and lots of water
lunch: usually toast with peanut butter or hummas. if i'm going to drink tea, i'll drink it now.
dinner: this is where i usually cheat and what i eat during this time varies a lot. mostly french fries or fried zucchini. something greasy and unhealthy.
i'm a vegetarian btw
>soemthing easy like baked chicken
That's easy but takes forever. Thick chicken breast out of my fridge take like 35-40minutes to cook. Maybe I just like it overdone... also doesn't help my fridge is super cold (But that does help the food stay longer)
I cook on Sundays and then just re-heat during the week. Most dinners I eat out because I work late; I can't be bothered to do anything with a recipe or more than 15 mins of wait time.
Breakfast: some fruit, yoghurt and/or bread
Lunch: depends. Most of the time just something quick from a supermarket.
Dinner: Whatever I feel like eating, I usually eat some more fruit afterwards.
>tfw 5'10 125lbs
normie incoming :
tea, raw milk, biscuits, an apple
depends, today I eated japanese with some friends.
green veggies with specially prepared tofu, raw milk camembert, a glass of wine or a beer and a pear
so far I've eaten two full meals in 2016.
Last night i had potatoes, green beans and a sausage
3 days ago I had a small pizza
In between I ate 1 sandwich for breakfast
I don't really want to eat much and I'm kind of embarassed about getting some weight I lost back and I feel like I'm developing an eating disorder. I'm really happy I'm down like 2kg in a week or so. Should I be worried? I'm not underweight, I just want to be average again. 6'6 88kg atm, want to be 84. It's not that bad but I feel I'm taking the whole thing too far. Worst thing is I'm not even hungry.
losing 2kg a week is crazy unhealthy, you ned the calories to survive, stop doing that and start eating healthily, everything you eat is pretty unhealthy and you lose weight only because you don't eat. are you on drugs not to be constantly starving?
Coffee, weetabix/granola and fruit
fruit salad/ fruit
Chicken/red meat/fish no carbs but salad or veg
15~ pints of water
2 protein shakes
Nope, nothing. I'd be lying if I felt nothing, there's definitely a nagging feeling in my stomach but when it gets bad I have a full meal (like last night) and I'm good to go for a day or two.
I definitely wouldn't be able to keep this up if I was doing a lot of stuff but last week I had nye party and rest of the time up until friday next week is gonna be spent sitting at home writing, which I guess doesn't burn that many calories.
breakfast: a single fruit
lunch: nothing really
dinner: roughly 1000 calorie meal consisting of a small portion of meat, vegtables and bread
been doing this for 5 days now and have lost 10 pounds already, i will probably continue on for 2 more days then go back to a normal 2500-3000 cal diet
5'10" 155 lbs
The key for me to stop from overeating and having good food habits is to have a solid breakfast.
cup of water
1 apple or banana
boring turkey sandwich
1 apple or banana
water and more black coffee
changes depending on plans
Same height but 10-lbs heavier. I'm eating 1600kcal/day trying to get to 155.
Sounds like once I get there can eat pretty normally again as long as I'm careful with lunch and eat a good breakfast, that your experience?
I'd just like to be able to have a normal dinner (not huge, not unhealthy, but also not just a chicken breast with nothing on it) and a beer (150kcal I think they are).
Are you maintaining or dropping?
A portion of these are just examples, but yeah a portion is people who just eat for the bare minimum fuel and to stay within their calorie limit it is easier to eat the same stuff over and over
banana, orange and 3 weetabix for breakfast
drink lots of water regularly through the day
eat a proper meal(s) when i get hungry
probably averages to 8 meals over 3 days inc breakfast
lunch: burger or chicken sandwhich with lettuce and lots of sriracha
Throughout the day I drink about 2L of water. Once every week or so I binge the fuck out on something really unhealthy so I'm not starving myself to death. I'm just too lazy to prepare food.
Breakfast 7am: a soda
Dinner 3pm: another soda and a bowl of cereal/ ramen or something else
After dinner 6pm-2am: adderall, weed, and a granola bar or the likes.
thanks effay for making me realize how little I eat on a daily basis. I need to eat more.
breakfast : coffee +(oatmeal every 3rd day)
lunch : N/A

Lunch: double short black (only get 10min break)
Snack: black coffee and maybe some rice crackers
every roughly third night a few 500ml cans of beer or shots of gin.
Discussing healthy eating patterns here is pointless, unless you want a 1000 calorie deficit.
ex fatty here
After workout protein shake
glass of spicy V8
fiber toast with peanut butter
turkey sandwich with mayo; or roast beef sandwich with horseradish/mayo mixture; or large can of tuna
pimento stuffed olives
small bottle of low cal. chocolate milk
optional mozzarella cheese stick if im pretty hungry (i like peeling things)
a salad with homemade dressing
some kind of protein, dependent on what the supermarket is advertising
brussel sprouts (my favorite) or broccoli
a miller lite
sometimes i snuggle up with my gf and we watch netflix and ill have a glass of wine or a little ice cream
i try to eat 4 times a day at least and obviously this list isn't concrete. depends what the market is pushing. sometimes berries go on sale real cheap and ill horde them and make a bunch of smoothies all week. also i get really into making soup and chili sometimes. you have to be willing to cook for yourself though otherwise youll be broke and still fat. if you are trying to lose weight i really suggest using the paleo diet strategy and flipping your portions of meat to vegetables. basically double your veggies and halve your meat. youll shit a lot better too. although if you take anything away from this i'd say only drink water or shit that you use to mix into water like tea and coffee but nothing artificially sweetened. you need to get over your addiction to sugar (i.e. sweet tooth) and you never will by drinking diet teas, diet colas, and all that garbage. seriously, drink only water and drink a lot of it. youll be surprised by how quickly you curb your cravings.
Lunch: water, maybe a poptart if I'm feeling faint
Dinner: green tea, and depending on the day I'll have one of the following:
mango, banana, or raspberry smoothy
salmon (on a naan or with broccoli)
or I binge on everything in the house
Yay, eating disorders
On week days
Breakfast : black coffee
Lunch : apple vitimins and adderall
Dinner : cigarette
Breakfast : bowl of fruit
Lunch : avocado tomato sandwich
Dinner : cannabis and cranberrys.
Keep a routine almost every day with almost no deviation.
Does anyone here go a day or even multiple days just without eating? I'm not worried about my weight but some days there's nothing that interests me or I'm just not very hungry, all my life I've drank a lot though, so I think maybe my body's just adapted, I'll have bucket loads of water/soda if I need to. Today for example I had 3 bottles of water, 2 cans of Coca Cola.
