This is from Manchester by the Sea, hyped shit movie
it's supposed to be realistic and shit. is this real life America?
why do americans keep propagating the shoes in bed
please tell me they dont actually do this irl
Recommend me jeans. Cheap and nice silhouette.
So when i wear 510s - my legs look like matchsticks. I hate skinny jeans. But when i wear 511, i feel gross and unkempt, like a clueless slob.
I need something 511-ish at the thighs and tapering down artfully to the calves, not suddenly widening like the 511s.
And yeah, keep your baggy shit
501s or carhartt wip
you have to play with sizing a bit if you are transitioning from tight pants to regular fit
Bump for tis relevant to my interests
ITT reasons why you're still a virgin despite being /fa/

How do I stop dressing autisticly?
Hey /fa/, I need help with coming up with a colour scheme. So far, I've thought about just using my favourite colours; Navy, Crimson, Gold, Brown and Grey. How would these look together? Would it work or not? Advice and examples are very much appreciated.

I did, it's not very useful for determining a colour palette.
Can anyone id these boots?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI6z9zyYNTE
They appear at around 1:39 in the video. Probably Austrian military boots?
MMummy Pararompers in Dirkwind Black

I can't find that on the internet...
Bought some old Finnish horsehair boots and they are cozily warm, breathe well and are completely waterproof. Same goes for my old Finnish army loden trousers. Why is nature the perfect mother, lads?
Discuss other technically advantageous clothes made from natural materials itt.
Another example is Charlie Manson's elk skin suit - a suit you can wear all year round that breathes with your body and slowly becomes part of it. Self-cleaning, cooling in summer, warm in winter and ever-fashionable.

also w2c that elk suit, it looks cosy af

>wearing rick owens
Alright, thats pretty neat. Any other show do stuff like this?
>>12197243
I don't even know what the show is but I read somewhere that some guy decided to use his own wardrobe, which was mostly rick, for some show he was doing as he felt it was fitting for the character, guessing it's this dude right here
>full rick
>>12197253
Oh. Still cool I guess. Thought maybe the shows producers did their research.

One of my friends saw a pic of me that was from a family reunion on facebook and said I had autism shoes?
I looked it up and it almost everything im wearing is considered "autistic"
Why do fucking normies care so much about clothing? I dont give a fuck what I wear, I dont have dress shoes or anything so I just wore my usual shit.
Is there really such thing as autism clothes or is it just a salty normalfag fascination?
>>12193453
some people care about the way they dress
if you don't, immediately close your browser and never come to this board again. it will save both you and us from lots of stress
>I don't give a fuck what I wear
Then why did you show up in formal clothing aside from the shoes? You obviously care.
>>12193453
You sure seem salty about it.
I guess you can say "normies" have a taste for aesthetics. Either you're too stupid to have any awareness of what looks good based on societal conditioning, or you're too smart to give a fuck about what you wear as it is a time sink.
Clearly it's the former.
What are the most /fa/ articles of clothing from Adidas?
>>12198370
White mountaineering collabs, y-3 , palace x adidas collabs, cream ultraboosts, cream owzeegos, tech runners
>>12198443
good lord those are fucking hideous
What do you guys make of this? Is this fa/?
Anything I could do better? I'd also like to know if you would call this "dad core" or not.
Thanks in advance!
>>12198122
wear pic related instead and carry a spliff with you at all time
low rise pants, puddling over the shoes, tie too short
Mirin that building behind though
>>12198122
>Is this fa/?
You're asking a very, very vague question. What do you mean by /fa/?
Not sure what answer you after but your context matters if you want input if what you're dressing is suitable/good.
Do you work in finance?
Do you go to uni?
How does ppl around you dress?
Or do you just dress like that when meeting up with some friends?
Does it look good? Meh.
Pants a bit too long, also depends on how you want them to fit tho.
Don't like the pea coat.
Don't like the tie.
Tie clip a bit too wide.
>"dad core"
Not really. More like finance guy executed not that well but is ok/passing.
Do Brits wear penny loafers casually, or is it just Americans and the French?
>>12197061
Brits tend not to.
I got a pair of blue JM Weston loafers in Paris last year. Well worth it. I only wear them casually, never with a full suit.
>>12197061
they're comfy.
>>12197061
>>12197151
It depends where you live, in Manchester a lot of people wear penny loafers casually to uni or even to the shops, it depends whether you can make it work
Hey /fa/, long time contributor as well as lurker here. probably wont trip ever again.
so recently I became vegetarian for reasons that made sense to me, and one of the unexpected dilemmas I am having is one with that of leather and suede products.
if I am not eating meat, it doesn't make sense to keep wearing the skins of those animals. now, I am aware of pleather and leather substitutes, but I don't know of that many options. obviously just canvas and knit shoes, but if i do this i have to eliminate like 90% of the pieces (mostly footwear) that i wanted before. for example i had been looking at those rick mastodons, but realized it would be hypocritical to buy them.
so with that i have a few questions
>if ur a vegetarian/vegan do you wear leather and why, if so?
>recommend ya boy some shit to wear please
>ok to buy used or thrifted leather products?
>ok to wear gifted leather products?
TLDR; i dont eat meat and dont think wearing leather makes sense
pic related
>mfw most shoes i want r leather
It's not a good idea to post anything related to veganism or vegetarianism here.
>if ur a vegetarian/vegan do you wear leather and why, if so?
I'm a "vegan" and I still wear some leather boots I bought before I was a vegan
>recommend ya boy some shit to wear please
look around vegankicks com, mail companies asking about vegan options, accept that most vegan shoes are shit, rombaut, vans (some models), shoes like pottery, ahimsa, etc... mail rick to remove the side zip leather detail on the ""Vegan"" Ramones sneakers.
>ok to buy used or thrifted leather products?
That's up to you. (and it's dumb asking that in a fashion "forum") But I think if you have that kind of ethical stance you should stop wearing leather (and even leather imitations), it's hypocritical and it sends the message that wearing animal skins is ok... but if you don't really have a pure vegan ideology I think it's an option to buy second hand.
>ok to wear gifted leather products?
That gives the wrong message, make others take you seriously and respect your ethical stances.
>TLDR; i dont eat meat and dont think wearing leather makes sense
Please stop dairy/eggs if you really care, read about them. (IMO they're worse than leather and meat)
And the most important part on buying vegan friendly clothes. mail companies about vegan options, make them know there's a market (although it would be dumb to mail 100% leather based companies)
