gothninja exists as a subculture only because it impresses losers that grew up watching video games and jerking off to children's anime. it looks cool and edgy to them. when gothninjas post a photo on the internet, they are in control over the lighting, composition, and content of this photo. they can emulate an aesthetic seen so many times growing up in comic books/video games/movies etc. for this reason, gothninja pictures look cool and edgy to the weak, pale geeks of the world when they come to sufu, or 4chan, or stylezeitgeist, or pinterest, or thefedoralounge. when you take them outside this frame of reference, and capture someone trying to posture as "gothninja" while walking down santa monica boulevard with a slice of pizza in their hand, it becomes very obvious how pathetic their charade is. they lose control of their aesthetic in the real world and it's sad to behold. so instead they avoid being seen eating pizza, and try to slink around in the shadows smoking cigarettes, sending their mom to buy groceries so as not to be seen with luncheon meats in their hand. they avoid going to the beach because they know it's impossible to perpetuate their carefully crafted image there. it's like a symphony of spaghetti, and it makes me cringe.

how common is it for modeling shoots to charge the models money to do makeup? is that a sign that i should ignore them?

a guy who owns a boutique asked me if i would model for his store, theres a fitting next week and then for the shoot he told me that i should come wearing my own makeup or there would be a makeup person there but it would cost 30 dollars

if he's not covering makeup surely he isnt actually going to pay me, right? i should just bail?

I'm 26 years old. I haven't had a lot of experience with the appearance of hairloss until I was about 25, and am currently experiencing more drastic thinning to the back of my hair - and strange "divisions" to my hairline - I can't lay down my bangs without noticeable separations, and combed back you can see there are visible areas missing/thinning out.
It only appears decent if I wear some kind of styling product and mess around with the parting and fluff it up.

Is there anything I can do to reverse this? or am I fucked forever /fa/?

Looking for recommendations on some tapered selvedge for those with bigger quads, budget around 220. I really like the top block of 501 stf, but want something of higher quality and more tapered leg opening. Hello /fa/, I don't come here often, but I had a question that I figure you guys might be able to help with.

I've got a connective tissue disorder, causes nasty flat feet and similar problems, so I need shoes with really good support. I own some certain basketball shoes that work very well for me, but recently I got a job that will require me to dress formally.

Where can I find formal shoes that won't make me want to saw my legs off at the knee? Most of my experience with them in the past has been awful, since I'm not sure where to find functional ones.
