I see it as a chance to redeem 90s fashion, since it was pretty terrible. People are looking through rose colored glasses, grabbing the good ideas from it, and making some nice looking outfits with a 90s feel.

Really though it's just that we live in a very jaded and nostalgic decade.

I currently wear DMs (I know, more punk, but w/e) and I have a winter coat that makes me look like part of Stalin's inner party. I really like that sort of authoritarian look while still looking normal and not being a total LARPer.

You have to start somewhere and when you are nothing but brand among others, you can't be asking as much as established ones with following and recognition, you build and develop the brand and gain your position.
You don't just start from the top and hope people buy in to it.

Here is the 6" variant if the 8" is too big for you to handle. I would prefer the 8" because it has a hidden pocket so I would be able to carry a spare prepaid visa card and some cash in the event that I get pick-pocketed. The added ankle support is also a plus.

So, for a while, before they where banned because of AR-670-1, I was in the Nike Special Field boots. These where great and all, lightweight, breathable, they dried off easily, It was a comfortable boot. They lasted me about a year before I had to get a new pair, but they did the job. Plus you can get them in black, sage, tan, coyote, and tan. It gives you more options if you don't want to look like a sperg.

Converse are for children, and doc martins are meme shoes
