where do I get a sweater like this?
not only talking about the neck part (what's that called?) but moreso about the puffyness of the arms and general puffyness.
what's this cut/style called?

You don't know what a turtleneck is?
Thoughts on kit and ace?
Good:
-Comfy ass pants
-Great for cozy office attire
-One of the few higher end brands that designs with muscular bodies in mind
Bad:
-Some overly-designed shirts that seem uniquely constructed for the sake of being uniquely constructed
-High end prices but made in Vietnam
-Some of their clothes really straddle the line between business casual and workout clothes in an unconvincing fashion (e.g. Their thicker trousers that look like sweatpants)
-Depends on location but unbearably bougie and Instagram-aesthetic SAs
>>12516973
they're vancouver as a brand. they market their "performance cashmere" and use 1% cashmere clothes. just buy lulu
>>12516980
>Vancouver as a brand
wings+horns, Lulu, and Kit and Ace are the unholy trifecta of Vancouver yuppies.
>just buy Lulu
Kit and Ace was bullshit until they dropped their prices to just be slightly above Lulu. I don't think they're higher quality (at least substantially, though they use nicer hardware like zippers), but their pants are a lot more dressy than Lulu.
How to emulate the Balenciaga look in a cheap way?

Find footwear in thriftstore
Find outerwear in thriftstore, prioritize the quality of the material and have it in a bigger size than you wear -> then have it altered for a boxier fit
win
Thrift, like already said, is pretty much your only chance.
The thing about designer brands (good ones at least] is that they articulate something very specific, and to have that without immense effort is why they can charge the prices they do.
>>12516878
But, can it be made with footwear?
Thoughts and criticism? I'm not sure if the fit is good or not
Are you a hitman?
Tie tied too long
Sleeves are where?
Pants too long
Belt too thick compared to tie
Sleeves too long. Pants too low. This fit will be out of fashion by next year, no use investing suit money in this
How about interior, I want to cop this color of laminate for my bedroom. I need a desk in it etc. What do you guys think of a white interior with this grey laminate?
>>12516800
>laminate
Disgusting
>>12516800
I have, like a, white/stainless steel desk in mind but can't find a nice one
Fuck this horseshit company.
Does anyone know any generics I can put together that work?
I used to buy their products from a vending machine. It was overpriced, but fine. I don't want to give them my credit card or personal info, because I know that they sell it on to marketers, and that they commit you to automatically recurring payments, which only means being overcharged and spending hours in phone hell. Calling their customer service numbers to find a physical kiosk location just results in robot menus and Indians reading from scripts.
It's been 3 years since the vending machine I used to buy their product from was removed. I've avoided signing up or dealing with them for that long because of what a nightmare it is. I refuse, even if it means I'll keep having open sores and awful blackheads.
Fuck Proactiv.
wtf
who the fuck recommended proactiv to you?? lol

heres another
well how about these ones. whats he wearing?
cmon some shoe guy help me out, all i have ever worn in dunlop volleys
anyone here on /fin/? For how long, are there results and are you experiencing any sides?
I'm starting to thin and recede, I'm gonna go with rogaine first and if that doesn't work I'll go with a transplant if I can afford it
I won't try any meds with ED as a side effect anymore, especially ones with such a high chance of it, was on SSRIs for a while and trust me, not being able to get it up is such an awful feeling
Keep in mind fin and rogaine will end up costing more than a transplant if you use them as a long term solution
I did SSRIs for a while. I was never impotent but wanking would take so long I rarely bothered with it. I got hard fine but it just took so long to finish.
I'm posting here since google gives me next to nothing about the subject. How durable are Ultraboosts with Continental soles? I have UB replicas and the sole wears down FAST with just walking around, but that's to be expected since they probably have the cheapest rubber in China, even though they're high quality reps.
Has anyone used UBs with Continental soles and ones without? Any noticable difference between them? Trying to do the math and see if retail UBs are worth copping.
>>12516537
I don't own any 1.0's, but from everything I've gathered the continental really is an improvement. Never seen continentals worn down to the boost.
I own two pairs with the continental sole and they've held up pretty well. I do have a rotation of about 6 shoes I mainly wear, but both have been getting a decent amount of wear and the soles are still in good condition.
Gave the soles a quick wash so you can see the actual wear better. Got the red pair in august, but couldn't wear them during the winter. Got the black pair in february and I've been wearing them alot since.
The sole is not a reason that would make me not get them. I don't think they wear down that fast.
>>12516591
Wow I wasn't expecting a so detailed answer. Thank you for taking the time to take pictures. There's next to no wear on the soles. The soles on my reps looked like that after the first wear and quickly became much worse.
Of course having other shoes in your rotation helps a lot, and it's a thing I'm working on right now, it'll really slow down the wear. I'll probably buy a retail pair as soon as my reps wear out, it seems to be very much worth it.
I want to get a nice suit, something like pic related. Same colors and all.
What's an affordable brand for this purpose?
Get a J Press, Paul Stuart, or Brooks Brothers suit from eBay and have it tailored. $1,400 look and quality for $200
Or get something from Suit Supply, make sure it fits and done.
>>12516500
J. Crew if you're skinny
>800 usd
Blatantly shameless. I do love the sole though.
Oh boy cant wait for these to go on yoox bargain sale section.
they're too large
They look like raf was hired by new balance
If I have a tshirt or polo thats stretched and has gone to shit after a few washes is it
>my fault for not washing it properly
>tshirt companies fault for using bad and or cheap fabric
>the tshirt companies designed it to stretch so that you have to buy another
a lot of my shirts dont last long anymore and i need to know if i should swap brands or change how I wash. ive got shirts which stretch down to my thighs after 2 washes.
You're going to a matchmaker, and you must look your best. Money is no obstacle. What do you wear?
what kind of beard kino should I shave myself into. I have about 3 weeks growth and dont want a boring goate
Stop growing beards.
>>12516368
fuck off varg
I really like yohji yamamoto's designs but there's no way in hell i'll ever be able to afford any of his pieces any time soon. Are there any affordable alternatives to this sort of baggy semi formal japanese avant garde style? By affordable i'm talking like urban outfitter prices. I'm poor af. Should i try to replicate some of his pieces on my own?
Its sort of like not being able to afford art and trying to recreate it yourself. It wont be the same. But if you just like the general style you can easily find 90s shit that is oversize at thrift stores and cut/style it how you wish. If you can pull some money together you can also get some decent yohji stuff used from japan pretty cheap.
>>12516329
Just buy shit ripoffs at zara/h&m/asos. You won't get anything decent anyway so why even bother trying. Wait like that until you can afford a few actual pieces
