OKAY I HAVE STRONG FEELINGS ON THIS.

Okay so the jeans in question are "Dad jeans". Usually bootcut or straight cut, maybe they sit a bit too high, maybe they bulge a bit ill fittingly in the ball region. Probably a few shades too light.

And then the sneakers in question are running shoes. Like the shit you wear to the gym or on some stupid ass day trek or some shit.

Together they make a combination that screams "I'M ALL ABOUT COMFORT, BUT ALSO I'M KIND OF A KNOB WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT PRESENTATION."

Which is fine, because not everyone does care about presentation.

But in my experience it often goes hand in hand with being socially awkward or neckbeardy or just generally contemptuous and annoying about dressing correctly in important situations. Or being older and kind of frumpy.

It's also cultural. Peeps here in /r/AskWomen are all "THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM" whenever I talk about how much I hate Sneans. But here where I live (NZ), everyone I've spoken to about it agrees it's a fashion faux-pas, and that people don't generally wear running shoes unless they're like 35+ and wear a cellphone holder on their belt, or are overall aesthetically challenged. Or you know, are actually exercising.

Hi guys, I need some help from any watch-savvy people out there. So my missus and I just had our first baby 3 days ago and my birthday isn't far away. She wants to get me a nice looking watch to commemorate the birth of my baby. Thing is we need to keep it under 150aud (brisfag if that helps) due to having a baby and all that. Any recommendations or suggestions on a cheap but decent dressy watch? Thanks in advance guys

Op here. Always had a thing for watches like pic related, my dad is a bit of a watch nut and he owns a lot of these. He only reccomends seiko and the more upper shelf but brands dont phase me.

things which are not effay:

>low confidence / self-esteem

things which are (objectively) effay:

>designer brands
>well-fitting clothing (varies)
>rich vibrant colors
>jewelry and misc. accesories with value

/fa/ is not a buzzword that encompasses the values you find cool, or that fit your vague bullshit """aesthetic""". Just because you like it doesn't mean it's /fa/.

/fa/ applies to clothing and things which have an effect on your appearance ONLY. Carry yourself with confidence. Focus on quality over quantity. Take the time to refine your tastes. Find what suits you best and you'll be fine.

Feel free to contribute to, support, or argue against any of these claims.
