This is a working offline version from the 13th of June, I think this is the last version before the offline versions stopped working. (give or take a few bug fixes) it includes the love live characters (plus all their outfits) and the ability to increase a decrease things via the keyboard shortcuts.

Be advised that this is a version I've been updating manually for a while now, so it lacks files such as the file_update.htm and the fullscreen file, but I think people could likely add those manually.

12/th13th was the last working one before it died. There was an update where you could resize characters with a slightly different set of keys (without the stupid limits they have now) and then right after the current resizing keys were added (additional movable hair pieces came right before that.) The version after broke it.

Hey everyone, I'm creating a mad-libs type VN/Dating sim game. The player will be able to choose a girl and several personality traits for her at the start of each runthrough, and will be able to unlock new girls and traits as they progress through the game and try different paths. Since I am a talentless hack, I am going to be making the character models using K-Kisekae. I am a fairly good programmer and writer, but unfortunately visual art is not one of my strengths, so I will be creating the characters this way. Along with making it easy to create a lot of characters for easy mixing and matching, it will provide a good sense of consistency. I would also like to open this up to anyone else who would like to contribute characters. If you post a set of images of your character in the correct format, I will gladly add them to the game as a playable option. Anything goes, as long as it isn't completely horrible.

Please export the images as such:
-PNG Format, transparent background
-Character in the 5th spot, no cropping or zooming
-The highest (4th and 5th) settings for both the ingame and export quality

I will be auto-cropping the images later so they all are a standard size, which is why they should remain uncropped for now.

Here are the six basic poses/emotions your character has to have:
-Neutral
-Happy
-Sad
-Angry
-Embarrassed
-Aroused

There should be an image for each of these states. Along with facial emotion, feel free to accentuate their emotion with the pose of the rest of the body. They should be dressed in a standard sort of outfit, something they would wear everyday. If you are feeling particularly passionate, you can create more than one outfit. If you want to make formal wear, swimsuit, an alternate main outfit, or something else, free free. You will need another set of six images for each outfit, but the emotions can be the same, so you can just create a save for each emotion and reload and change the outfit.

Additionally, each character is going to have an H-Scene. It will be split into three main images:
-Character undressing
-Character during sex
-Character after completion
You can just make one image for each of these stages, or several, whatever you would like. Same export options apply.

Along with the images, I would appreciate it if you could provide the code for the character just in case I have to add or change something. If this all sounds like too much work, you can just post the code for your character and I can create the emotions and H-scenes. If you only have time to do some of it, post the code alongside what you can do and I will fill in the gaps.

If you would like to be credited for the image, tell me a name to use and I will credit you in-game and the creator of the character. If you have a nickname for the character or any traits you think are expecially fitting for them, post those too and I will try to work them in.

If a lot of people pitch in with this and post their characters, I will be sure to give regular progress updates in the thread.

Ohh thanks. All I know about Touhou is that it's a shooting game with a massive following and apparently lots of story which confuses me since those sorts of games don't really have stories.

Sure it's much easier to make a character in a creator than to draw it from scratch. But no one is claiming to be an amazing artist by using it. I think most of the stories and characters are shit but people are enjoying it so the reality is they're pretty successful.

Here's a question: is anyone else perfectly capable of drawing, but is still addicted to this damn program? I know I can draw anything I want, and make it look more natural and unified than anything I could do with kisekae, but I just love seeing what I can do without resorting to Photoshop.

Does anyone know where the save files are located for the SRWare Iron browser? I can't find them anywhere.

I can't draw very well from scratch but with lots of editing I get okay results. It'd be really easy to photoshop things from this to make whole new things though.

Woah this has changed pretty drastically since I last used it... I went to load an old save and.. well...

I don't want to have to fix everything ;_;

Kind of random but when you use auto emotions and click on her lips she now kisses for a lot longer before going into the tongue animations, and the steam effect finally removes itself as the girl cools down again.

Haven't noticed any other changes since top level dresses got added.

One thing that's annoying me is I can't fully button down the dress versions of the button-up shirt and sweater. I want to make a v-line going all the way to the naval, but you can only undo the top two buttons in dress form.

If you like them plain that's cool, I guess it's just my taste that I like characters that are more exaggerated.

If you want to switch it up, I'd suggest rearranging the faces a little more--different noses, jaw widths, eye heights, mouth placement, whatever. Maybe screw around with the torso-to-leg ratio. Take this with a grain of salt because I like fatties, but it'd be interesting to see body types that aren't just varying combinations of height and boob size. I didn't mean to insult you, in case you took it like that. And if you like them the way they are, then ignore me and have fun. Just my thoughts.

No worries. Different tastes it seems. I tend to keep a lot of things between girls similar to maintain some sort unified style since I like to have my girls interact with one another. just look at the thread, and see what people are complimenting. People have told him dozens of times his characters are overdesigned. he has too much shit on them, and it starts to look cluttered. just because there's the option to have 10 hair pieces, 10 ribbons, a bra, undershirt, shirt, vest, jacket, etc, doesn't mean he has to include one of everything in all of his characters.

Those are adorable, and I agree completely about the ears and belts.
What I'd like to have most would be the ability to rotate the character's arms forwards and backwards, so that you don't have to do some silly contortions, when you want to have them touch their face for example. I can see why that would be difficult to implement in a 2d game, though.

There were people (or a person) critisizing mouse too but he's still done more to push what can be done without photoshopping than anyone else has recently.

I totally agree that characters don't need one of absolutely everything though. I don't even particularly like ICE's designs, but it could easily be one person complaining each time. When they post something of their own along with it and say how it's better I'll take them seriously.

But there is a point to be made though, not condoning the nasty comments in the process. You look at the characters in the earlier pic closely and you see the girls themselves, their bodies, faces, hairstyles etc. are very nice designs, but the entire thing is also complimented by each girl's outfits, which are in some places, cluttered, for lack of a better word. Someone said above, they'd probably look very nice and not have that problem just by having them displayed on their own, but a better idea (imo) might be if ICE gave them all something to sort of tie the outfits together, in a sense, some sort of common piece that makes it look like a set of girls all affiliated with each other. Of course, I am assuming here that all those girls are meant to be, at least, loosely affiliated with each other in this story.
