Not OP, but the just because the woods is peaceful doesn't mean it isn't boring.

Many people venture out o wilderness to write, to drink, to make love, so OP probably just wants to watch Netflix in the serenity of nature.

Cheapo off the shelf wifi repeaters are shite. They have only one wifi radio inside and bidirectional antenna. They just repeat what they receive on the same channel. Good enough to extend your wifi to the basement, but useless for really long range (like hundreds of meters and more). Something like wifi pineapple would be better, a device with two radios - one with an external directional gain antenna that connects as a client to your target AP, and second radio interface to broadcast repeated network, preferably using a different channel.
