hey /diy/. first time here so sorry if i've made a mistake
I want to make these shoes as close to all-white or off white as I can, so I want to get rid of the color from the blue leather parts and the logos. Will bleach do this? Reading around online some people are saying it's fine and others that it will "destroy" them however that may be
if bleach doesn't work, what else could I do to get rid of the color?
thanks

It really depends on what the material actually is.
They also sell a "white wash" by Rit to get rid of dyes, but its even more hit and miss than bleach is.
Its really a toss up because nobody knows what materials it actually is, it could turn your blue bits orange for example.
I would just try it on a small piece and see what it does.

I think it's leather
maybe you could carefully take the top layer off with some sort of carving tool?

This is retarded and definitely going to look like shit. It's the most nigger thing I have ever seen on here. Just buy new shoes to match your gang colors.

Synthetic thread won't bleach. So if the stitching isn't cotton, it will remain in its original color. Don't know about the leather parts
