Picked up this Bust at a car boot sale for £1 and i wanted to repair it, i've started to glue back what parts that were broken off, some are completely missing though. What's the best way to repair it?
This is with the last (and biggest) piece thats left to attach

Bondo?

so would you advise just filling it up and then shaping it to the outside shell?
I would fill it with expanding foam sealant, put back any pieces you can than finish with bondo.

thanks, might give that a try
THIS LOOKS LIKE A JOB FOR SUPERGLUE

I dont have all of the pieces for it, there are gaps

Don't use expanding foam, it will just cause it to break more.
Use fiberglass matting and resin. Bondo to smooth it out, Repaint.

Duck tape and paint

use a sculpting material for modeling.
will be the same cost as bondo and much easier to work with/finish

this.
don't use expanding foam. expanding foam has enough 'force' to push doors and windows out of square when used in the wrong places. it will expand inside the arm and break out all the pieces you have already glued back into place.
there is another type of foam (for window and door frames) that doesn't expand as much or with as much force. *maybe* that could be used. but I'd go for the fiberglass mesh + resin to re-enforce the inside then use bondo or some other sculpting material to fill in the gaps to bring it up to the final finished surface then paint.
my daughter would LOVE that statue - she's a Superman nut.
great find!

i know, i was just making a joke cause that's what superman says but if he was glue he would say that
Actually make silicone cast, or paper cast. Fill the cast with fiberglass and resin. It should become a new piece that you could lay over top and repaint.
I don't know, but if you want to fill in those cracks, you can use super glue and baking soda. Rub baking soda in the cracks and drop a little super glue on it. It'll dry almost instantly and you can sand off the extra and paint it. That's something people who make plastic models often do to fill gaps.
Set it on fire and cry
use mesh as mentioned, then filler.
For the fine cracks, use filler primer. It's a spray, it fills cracks and builds up as you go. Sand when done.
You'll be wanting to repaint most of it so it doesn't look patchy
