So I'm still in the process of learning Ren'Py and getting a skeleton of something put together, but here is what I have planned for the text game I'm working on:

So you're saying it would focus on kidnapping and ransoming, instead of the usual training/managing/fucking slaves? Okay, but how are you going to make it interesting? Also if the player is a skeleton how is skeleton dick going to work
Ideally it will still have some training/managing/fucking. I want to have some way for the PC to collect a nice, exotic, pierced and tattooed as fuck harem after all, it just won't be quite as focused on the training and managing as Free Cities. I'll have to cook up some sort of combat/subdual system. Also, different girls will have different socio-economic backgrounds that will affect ransom amount.

I like the choice of engine at least. Worst case scenario you learn some Python, best case scenario your game is successful and you can make it bigger and more complicated without some tinker toy engine shitting itself and dying.
Man I looked into starless and it's got nice art and it's a pretty alright VN. Was just dissapointed there was no makoto on MC considering how much off the beaten path stuff the rest of the game was. Dominant trap stuff is just hard to find.

Oh yeah, I was really enjoying that one for the gameplay and excitement to see what kind of extreme body modifications I could force on people next while making myself a super stylish succubus. But there's like 2 chapters/levels worth of content and then the game just ends.
It's kind of stupid but I love all that base building kind of stuff in porn games. Another one is Nightmare Village or something. It's an rpg maker game where you're a succubus who corrupts this town slowly over time. You start by making the inkeeper your first victim and she slowly spreads your influence in her food. Then you teach the dancer to become supernaturally lewd and suck off a shota until he starts doing it with his sister. I didn't care for all the smell fetish stuff, but it was pretty good and a 10/10 game concept for something more open/interactive.

Mostly because no 'deep, singular fetish' games run the fetish the exact same way I would, or in the exact right mixture that I lik. I mean, it's better to have something throw in a scat or sissy scene now and then rather than an entire game about nothing I care about.
I think it'd be better to make a game that does one thing really well. Look at something like CoC or TiTs where you can do all sorts of bullshit like turn into a (space)centaur or grow a super long tongue and get spider eyes but none of it even does anything except for maybe one scene in the whole game. TiTs has the whole attitude thing, right in the character creation so you think it'd be important, but that only affects which 2 of 3 options you can pick in one scene and they're all functionally the same anyway.
If you made a diaper fetish game for example, people who were into that might love it, but most people would have no reason to check it out.
If you go more general, and include some more specific fetish content on the side, a lot more people will be interested in checking it out, and people may still be satisfied with the fetish content.
Ultimately, it's up to you. Something specific for fans of a certain fetish, or something general for everyone.

I kinda have a half baked idea for a game. Basically you start out with a cafe or restaurant of some sort.
You can manage staff, uniforms, food, events and what not. You can remodel and add stuff like human toilets, put women into the walls, other shit. You can expand and make the whole place some kinky brothel with bestiality sex shows, or whatever they want.
I want to have the ability for people to turn on or off various fetishes. For a more extreme example people who enjoy cannibalism can replace all the meat in the food with people, and can plan a Hawaiian Luau event where a person is the pig being roasted.
One of the problems I am having is fleshing it out, and deciding on what perspective the game is in, and the style.
I am looking for thoughts, ideas and suggestions. I am shit at planning lol

If you're an okay writer you don't really need art but if you feel that you simply must have art then why not learn to draw yourself? It's not as if God gifted artists with some innate talent, it just takes a bit of practice just like everything else.
Sounds like a management game, the player has to optimise and make a profit. I suggest just working on a prototype first before you expand on the idea, just get the basic mechanics locked down and then worry about content. First of all you should know what engine and tools you will be using, then figure out in what manner the game should be played.
Yeah it would be a management game. Creating a prototype is my plan but I am having a hard time deciding how it should look. Like should it be top down, isometric, or 3D and they can move the camera like the sims.
The engine will likely Unity3D and Visual studio since I have alot of systems that I can reuse for this.

Simulations and RPGs are my go to games. Keep in mind that people are usually one-handed when playing porn games. This is why games that require typing kind of piss me off because I don't want to get my keyboard dirty but typing with one hand takes so long.

Overlord is an interesting game.
It's a weird mix of RPG and RTS in which you play the evil guy, that tries to conquer the land and kill the certain heroes that destroyed your evil empire in the backstory of the game. Gameplay takes a very strategic style, in which you control yourself and a small group of your minions. Evil, goblin-like creatures that come in 4 different colours and classes, each with their own strengths and situational uses. So you use them to solve minor puzzles and dangerous fights (which often are little puzzles themselves), while you play through the hilarious satire of all that is evil, that is 'Overlord', the game. (Whiny elves and retarded humans included)

If you've not played Overlord or Overlord II, it's honestly fine, but you won't get some of the jokes. I still remember that one of your slaves would always destroy furniture or something while yelling "For the Overmind!", which is obviously hinting at the Overlord's ability to make his minions destroy various objects in the game. All the while they would yell "For ThE OvErloRD!"
I never got to play Overlord 1, some strange audio issue made the game slowdown to like 10fps and eventually crash. I couldn't get past the first stage.
Played through Overlord 2, its alrite but in terms of gameplay, I prefer Pikmin.

I might! I don't know, I was a bit annoyed that it could only be played through that website, whereas twine works as simple html in a browser. Though it's not entirely the same (and certainly not as easy to code as QUEST).

I don't have the game file here, but as far as I remember I programmed it to go off after X amounts of seconds no matter what you do. But it could all stand to be tweaked really.

I don't know what's going on and the machine translation doesn't help at all. The art is really inconsistent and characters look super jarring over some of the backgrounds. I don't know why but I can't get the sound or save/load system to work. But despite all that it's such a super cool game, the menu system is totally genius.
In the middle of the screen you get a big option and on the right are all the people involved in the scene. Usually you play as the punk/tough girl with the white bangs, so you'd drag her portrait to the option you want, but there were some scenes when I could make decisions for other people too. Seems like there's a good amount of variation depending on your choices (but I can't really test it).
Although the accompaning images are really cute and it's nice always knowing who you're dealing with, it seems like a lot of trouble for simple yes/no A/B questions right? Wrong, and here's why..
The same exact menu you use to make decisions is the same easy to comprehend, 2 option menu for sex scenes. Gives you absolute freedom in your sexing without the trouble of setting up sub-menus or filling the screen with text options.
One box for giving, one for recieving, and as you add girls to your harem you simply move which portraits you want to each position. With just these girls you can have one dominate the other, equally rough sex, equally gentle sex, if you only put one girl on the board you get a masterbation scene (unfortunately no aggressive/sensual option), and when the board is empty you end the night with some cuddling. Such an elegant solution.
All the scenes are pretty short, which I consider a good thing, but you only get one for each combination probably because of the huge combination of sex piles later in the game.
I'm not working on anything myself right now, but when I finally decide to sit down and make that pirate "swordfighting" roguelike this is the dialogue system I'm going to use.

Recently, on /co/ I read a comic called Ultra.
It was about "Realistic" superheroes, that have managers, sponsers, work for the police and all that shit.
Then I remembered there was a superhero manager game on steam.
And now I want a /d/ superhero manager game.
Start small, go big.
Have low level heroes, like actual normal people go out and catch badguys, become more proficient as they work, gain renown, maybe get some bounties or rewards, get sponsors.
Use money gained to scout new heroes and fund research into heroic abilities and powers, and into "Heroic" abilities that cause transformations, some obvious ones like "Super Strength" making characters super buff, and some rediculous shit, like Hypnotic powers causing breast growth.
Use research results on yourself to gain better control over your heroes, because naturally some of them won't want to be stuck with shit that makes them 10 feet tall and purple. Charm, Mindcontrol, Overpower or bribe your heroes into submission and gradually corrupt them into being your willing slaves, not just your employees.
Capture badguys and perform experiments on them, reverse engineer their powers, test experimental drugs on them, bend them to your will and use them as either reformed heroes or underworld spies.
Take in innocent Civs that want to be heroes, but instead corrupt them into being your customized harem of super powered sluts, rape captured badguys or send your own sluts to do it for you, breaking them down into mindless sex husks, to keep for yourself or given to your own heroes to play with.
Compete with rival managers, some as unscrupulous as you are. Fight over sponsorship deals, hero contracts, areas of opperation. Charm their heroes away from them and into your own collection. Send in your own covert heroes to try and steal their research. Use your captured badguys as hitmen to take out the competition.

Didn't even get into the Super Villian Organization stuff, the Be a hero yourself stuff, or regional hero variants.

Huge events like Alien invasions or the gates of hell opening.
Some of those other managers could be dominated as sub companies to your own, and then you can have "Team Ups"
Actually the sub companies could be a good way of managing a "Too many characters" problem. Set characters to other companies for training and expansion, either set it to randomize power upgrades, or to prompt when upgrades for characters are avaliable.
Alt start game mode, Super Villians.
Functionally the same, but evil characters. Sponsors replaced with blackmail and or government corruption. Send out low level guys for basic rackets, Send out higher level guys for Bank robbing and kiddnapping.
Defeate enemy Super Heroes, shoot them in the spine and then post naked pictures of them on the internet.
I have no idea what program I should try to make this in, but I want to do it.

Actually might start with the "Be Hero yourself" stuff, to organize a base on how general Hero functions should go.
First I'd need to define what types of Heroes there are, and what kind of stats should be used. Basic Heroes would be on the lines of, Strongman on Str, Gadget user on Dex sub Str or Agi, Gadget inventer on Int and sub dex, Accrobatic on Agi, Mystic on Int, Leader on Cha but should be well rounded.
in later builds Hero start will be a starting choice, but the option to go straight to manager will be there, with some small customization on simulating a "Hero" start.
Hero mode will also remain an option through Manager mode and will have impacts on your renown and stuff, but will be completly optional.
Basic Hero Mode options would be stuff like
Train: Raise your stats, basic. Slight chance to learn special moves?
Train Master: Learn with a master, Higer stat gain and special move chance, but costs money.
Patrol: Walk the streets looking for trouble
Bounty Board: Check up if there's any Bad Guys with a reward
Patrol Specific: Walk specific areas, looking for specific trouble. Easier to find bounties and specific kinds of badguys.
Hero Shop: Buy STUFF! Hero Stuff. Like Masks and shit.
Off Course we'd have to throw in a shit loads of references to things. For example, Training too much might make all your hair fall out.
Not all encounters will be fights. You're low level and are trying to look good. Rescuing Old Ladies from trees and helping Cats cross the road and stuff like that.
There will also be encounters with other Heroes, most will be friendly. If you're rocking a Leader build, you might be able to gain them as contacts. Party up with other heroes, or recruit them when you go Manager style.
This'll probably need a friendship or trust stat. I'd like a way to randomly generate these characters on first meeting, then store them for later use. Might have some hard coded TOTALLY NOT SELF INSERT characters.

Hero mode will keep going till some key things happen. Probably a combination of Renown, Stat total, companions, money and events.
Maybe there will be a special event bounty, where you have to beat down a ring leader [This would be you in Villian mode and vice versa] giving you the idea to run and train other guys instead of doing everything yourself. This mission would probably supply you with a building deed or money for your start up.

It really depends on what you want the actual mechanics to be like. There is tons of choices for those and as many engines and programming languages to use to best implement each one.

My skills in coding are, VB, Some C++ and C#, Some Java. I was also taught how to write websites in xhtml in notepad.
But it was over 10 years ago and I've not really done anything since I left school.

I'm reminded of Mount & Blade as I do this. Mountain Blade has an auto battle feature if you can't be bothered to actually fight and it is the worst thing ever, because it doesn't accuratly take into account how badass your troops are.
Doing things manually always gets the best results.
So I've a mind that, even though my end goal is basically a harem trainer for super sluts, being able to go out and break some bad bitches manually would be a good thing.
But then I want that to be an optional way to play the game.
Hell, it "should" be possible to play the game without ever gaining superpowers yourself.
Anyway, for character stats I've currently got
with additional for NPCs
I think those are mostly self explanitory, most powers I can think of can be linked to one or more of those stats.
Spellcasting a fireball, for instance, would be Int for magical power, and dex for targeting
Whereas a Hypnosis spell would be Int and Cha.
Trust would effect willingness of NPCs to do the things you want them to do, like taking this totally safe drug that'll turn you into a woman with sonic vocals.
Corrupted again effects the willingness of NPCs to do things, but more extreme things, like assassinating people, or injecting a person with tentacle rape virus.
Not sure if I should be having these stats in the 100 range or if it should go higher.
Might make the corrupted stat go into the negatives, for purity stuff.
Imagine it on a scale from Mary Marvel at max pure, to Black Mary from Final Crisis at max corrupted.
I'm writing up training options now for my stats.
Str = Lifting
Dex = precision skill training, maybe shooting, or weapons disasembly
Agi = Acrobatics
Con = Running?
Int = Studying, but I've actually got two seperate class trees for int, Scientist and Mystic. Should I change Mystic to a different stat or keep it as is?
I'm thinking of having them in a seperate section from training altogether and having them something like this.
Invent = Try to make new weapons at home. Maybe you'll learn something.
Ritual = Practise your magical skills in the relative saftey of your own home.
Both would raise Int but would be class specific. And it would fit with my plans for Cha
Hit on people = Spend your time talking locals at the pub into sex.
It also comes to mind I don't have a lust stat, not sure if I should have one or not.
Why would that be bad? Just include it. Bonus points if the story to it is actually funny or sufficiently weird.
Con = Cardio training, doesn't have to be running.
If you are professionally training superheroes it would make more sense to have a training regimen, trainers and sports facilities allowing you more than just to run. That being said, you could have the player build those facilities in management mode.
I can also think of more stats that could affect options/a character.
Corruption could have both a sexual and a non-sexual version (debauchery), there could be a loyalty stat and even character traits like dominant vs. submissive, assertive vs. self-conscious and the like resulting in different scenes or providing difficulties when trying to break a character (or make it easier). One could also include a list of fetishes for characters influencing how willing they are to go along with a certain act, things like that.
You really have a ton of possibilities when it comes to creating a management game like that.

Right now I'm working on designing the basic starting section, Being a new hero yourself, which will be completly optional eventually, but will help on building the rest of the game.
I've just finished writing up the basic daily options, Training, Patrol, Bounties, Patrol specific, Shop, Contact list.
God dammit, everytime I think of super powered sex I think of that one Buffy the Vampire slayer comic.

I'm considering combat flow atm. I want it to be a party system, because Heroes are all about the team ups.
Basics like, Attack, Defend, Special, Item, Run.
Team Attacks might be hard to code, but if I can figure it it'll be like this
If two or more characters have the same skill, they can all use it together for a large boost to the effect, but maybe with a side effect, like one of them gets stunned for a turn afterwards.
Or, if a couple of characters have a special combo of skills, they could do a team attack. The image that comes to mind here is the classic Wolverine "Throw me at it" I actually put a note in my Str class section on building towards throwing things with this in mind.
Also, my Wolverine Class is actually the tank class. Like, Just imagine Wolverine without claws and that's what it'd be like. He just takes all this punishment and refuses to die.
Anyway, I'm thinking 6v6, because team attacks put me in mind of Suikoden. But considering henchmen and basic goons, they come by the truckload.
Maybe as we get into later levels, basic henchmen will be replaced by groups of henchmen as a single enemy?
Either that or I'll have an enemy like, "The One Hundren Henchmen" with 100HP, which only takes high damage from group attacks, but takes one damage from everything else
Basically, the start is a prolonged tutorial introducing you to the story and basic gameplay elements.
It introduces some randomized TF fairly early.
Getting super powers involves experimental drug use, which can have some random transformations, starting small because this is the tutorial.
The suggested class, to make the management mode easier, is the Leader class, who specials into Cha.
The way to train Cha is to go out and hit on people. You can fail, get numbers, or score. Some of the people you chat up can be Heroes or even badguys.
But if you want to skip all of that, I'll eventually be adding an option to start in manager mode.
In manager mode you'll be doing reserch into your own hero drugs, and will be able to force your guys to take them.
So probably shortly into Manager mode you'll be able to turn a new and trusting young male hero into a Trap. They probably won't have many powers at that time and you'll take a penalty to trust stat, which will make it take longer before they trust you enough to take the D.
For instant /d/ it'll be possible for Mystic characters to accidently summon a tentacle monster into their room while training.
I'll need to have special events for all the training options really, but its so easy to just go into instant tentacles.

The point was that you're supposed to build on the existing super power research.
In "Theory" you're increasing the potential of the treatments to result in better powers, but in practice you're seperating the treatments into power and transformation.
You'll be able to give your guys the powers you want, or transform them under pretense [or at request later on]. You'll also be able to mix a power and transformation treatment together, to get a transformation with minimal trust lost.
Or you could just juice them with maximum randomizer and just fuck them over.
Man I wish it could be a graphic game, but I doubt I could get up enough artwork for what I intend.

When you start up straight into manager mode, skipping playing through the Hero mode [it is only a tutorial] you'll be given the character creator options just like when you start in Hero mode, but with more points to use, and some advanced character customization. When I get the balance down, this'll probably be slightly less stats than if you played through the hero mode, but shouldn't be enough to hinder the game in any way.
But I want an option for starting up manager mode without having been a hero first.
I'm calling this the Maxwell Lord mode in my design document, and it'll have some slight differences.
In terms of character customization, you'll be only able to use the basic stuff from Hero modes character creation.
In terms of stats, you'll be limited to slightly lower amount of stats to allocate [You've not been training to be a hero] but you'll get a boost in starting Int, and a boost to how fast Int increases.
You will also have access to Limited Mind Control powers shortly after the start, but using it causes you to take damage.
Maxwell Lord was a Buisness Man that set up the JLI, and used his mind controll powers to keep them in line.

I'm thinking that, on entering manager mode, it might be good to give you a customizable slut to work with. I've even got it plot relivant.
The transition from Hero mode to Manager mode story wise, will be that you defeated and took over a low level crime bosses organization and were rewarded with the deeds to the building/warehouse [not much but its a start]
You were sent after them because they were experimenting with hero drugs illegally and needed to stop them before it was too late.
So for the people that want to have a slut right from the start, a story choice will be happening after you beat them.
Experiment with, or Turn in.
Turn in, off course, will prevent you from getting them as a slut, but will reward with more starting money.
Experiment with, will give you a multitude of drug options to inject them with.

Some Breast options, some Dick options, and some ones that'll have some limited random effects, like changes to skin color, sick abbs, randomized ears [elf, cat, bunny] and a final, not an option, one that'll make them your slave bitch. Also, this is double plot relevant, because the "Crime Boss" you'd be taking out here would be the PC from if you were playing Villian mode. In Villian mode you'd start out Henching and low level thuggin, before raising to power through some black market hero drugs and taking over a "Legitimate Hero Buisness".
At this point I realize you could totally go into "Hero Manager" mode from the villian storyline. Sick nasty. That'll be a later addition thing.
Yeah, it'll be in that heroes with higher Int will be resistant to mind control techniques.
There will be warning signs to show that one of your heroes has noticed your mindcontrol and is questioning things.
At that point its either Talk them into it with a high Cha roll, or Threaten them with a high Str roll. Maybe some other options. If you fail or do nothing, they'll leave and cause a scandle, dropping all of your current heroes trust levels.
Currently I'm trying to think how, if possible, I'd do inter hero relationships. Currently I only have it statted for their relationship with the PC, but it would make sense for the heroes to know each other, form relationships and rivalries.

My description under Leg options was 7 Vaginas, but I don't see the real use of having a TF for 8 legs. Except for making that joke.
If you're going to have TFs, just make them specific and relevant. Try to keep stuff that doesn't matter to sex scenes OR gameplay as minimal as possible. Sure, the PC should be able to have blonde hair if they want, but you don't have to code in an entire hair salon just for customization if hair color/length doesn't effect scenes or gameplay beyond single word differences. This kind of thing is what made games like CoC slow their development to a crawl: every time you introduce another TF, you have to account for it in every scene.
On that note, I would START with coming up with all the transformations and possible configurations of them, then locking the list in place until the game is done. Because like I just said, adding new ones will slow development considerably. So start big and then keep that limit in place.
Speaking of configuration, you'll have to make sure you have TFs that don't conflict, and if you want certain ones to work together you have to code that in too. Should the player be able to have robotic spider legs, or only robot legs or spider legs? Should they be able to have both bug wings and demon wings at the same time? How many dicks can they have at once, and how will they be used in scenes? etc.
tl;dr Just make sure you REALLY consider every possibility of the TF system BEFORE you do anything else. It will save you lots of headache.

Can anyone help me out? I started playing Starless a few days ago, and recently found out there's multiple endings. I'm an absolute sucker for extra dialogue and stuff, but having to replay this already EXTREMELY lengthy game is not something I want to do. I've already looked up what the endings are and what they entail, but I could only find thing, and I'll include it in my next post.

I had an idea on the corruption magic but i wanted to you know, bounce it off you guys to see if it made any sense.
So, in NH, the corruption magic works via working towards one form, at random ect.
I'm thinking something similar, but the idea is that each slave will have a randomly generated idealized 'form' its corrupted towards, generated at its creation and hidden from the player
So the corruption magic could change your slave to be more bimbo-like, or a muscular fuckbeast with a huge cock, or a sissy, or an idealized futa ect, all with other demonic stuff added on, other weirder and wonderful forms could be added on later if this system works

It's not a bad idea, but I'd add a tweak to it. Make it based off of fetishes.
Since corruption is often linked to inner desires, and you happen to be making a game centered around sex, the best way to handle it would be the character's particular fetish. A sadist becomes a demon of pain and suffering, a submissive becomes a petite waif or a meager trap, etc. Pure randomness may create a bit more variety, but it lacks a thematic reason why the character in question wants to become a certain form.
Giving each NPC a subconscious desire allows you to interact with their fetishes in different aspects of the game from the get-go. If you figure out a particular slave has a certain fetish, it's easier to mold them to your will by assigning them particular jobs or using certain punishments and rewards.
Likewise, if there's a way to mold a slave's fetish over time, you could change their inner desires and later corrupt them into something that fits your ideal, rather than their own.
Another thing to remember with corruption and forms is that you don't have to have it be a 1-for-1 system. Since Twine allows you to have minor details for all your characters (as FC proves extremely well), you can have fetishes combine with a few other traits to pick from a pool of corrupted features.
For example, you could make a list of demonic features (horns, tail, hooves, two foot long tongue, etc), and then give each fetish a list of possible effects that manifest when corruption magic is used upon it. A sadistic character could have a chance of developing spiny skin, but they might also just grow barbs along their limbs. Likewise, their teeth could become sharklike, or their tongue might grow a bladed edge. By creating a pool, characters with a fetish won't become 100% the same after transformation.
At the same time, you can make part of that list depend on the character's race. A few portions of the pool might only kick in if the character is a certain species (minotaur horns becoming inscribed with twisted runes, a mermaid's tail becomes barbed like a deep sea fish, etc). But as long as you have a framework to insert text just like FC does, it shouldn't be a major workload issue.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind it at all if he said "hey guys, I'm taking a break for [time period, I don't care if it's a year]. Or hey guys, i'm working on something big for late. Whatever, just so we know he's ok.

I think it's more that they want to create a "product" that appeals to as many people within the given niche as possible (the audience is already so small that they don't want to scare anyone away, even if that means leaving out content that they personally enjoy), which leaves many games pretty anaemic.
Doesn't help that a lot of people want games to specifically cater to them and chimp out once something they personally can't fap to pops up in a game, so many devs probably prefer to err on the side of caution.
