The problem with simply dropping specific fetish content into a general weekly summary is that it may turn off some players. Tongue cleaning is already implied for specific body parts, but sweat/feet/etc tongue cleaning might actually squick someone out. (Yes, yes, normies on /d/, etc.) Point is, the things EVERY player sees should be generic, with additional (potentially problematic) problematic content being enabled specifically by player choices.
Actually, if you feel strongly enough about this, maybe ask for the tongue cleaning description to be added to maids (subordinate servants) of degradationist arcologies?

If it doesn't have even slightly animal features for the face, I find it hard to rate it 2 or higher. Exceptions would be for many sphinxes and some naga types where it's literally a human head on an animal body, which has to go straight up to >4.

I think I'd actually prefer setting up a fetish/ban list before starting the game. Otherwise you keep seeing references to unappealing stuff while actually playing, even if it's just for you to say "no thanks" to.

Not really. I guess the whole "tongue bath" thing has a certain appeal, but it seems niche enough that I never bothered to cultivate an actual fetish for it. The FC HG setup just seemed like a good place to give it a try. The main appeal was sort of the "this is completely normal" everyday routine aspect of it. I'd add height to the end of average so people know for sure what it's saying. Having seperate stats seems unnecessary. Also in my opinion strap on skill could be changed to fucking others like the male skill. It sounds nicer and makes more sense if it carries over after futafication.

While I'm glad you got it working I'm still sad you missed the link for help getting the game to work in Windows 10 on my tumblr which would have meant you wouldn't have needed to ask in the first place.
Initially, FC storyline was supposed to terminate very quickly. As in, society at large would finish falling apart within an in-game year, the arcology would fall, and the master (plus any remaining slaves and/or mercs) would be forced out into the wastelands.
This was FC dev's plan. Then the /d/eviants happened. Turns out, everyone really likes being a hedonistic slave owner. People reported playthroughs lasting multiple in-game years, which really surprised FC dev.
Instead of saying "you're playing my game wrong" or forcing the game to change into the part he wanted to (eventually) build, FC dev decided to shelve the latter post-apoc part (for now) and focus on what the players were already enjoying.
The Mad Max stuff is still planned, and it still hangs over the FC world, but for right now it isn't anything to worry about / build towards in your FC playthroughs. It may become so if/when FC dev makes the second (part of his) game and allows importing FC saves.
For the record, I appreciate your game. I wish you weren't using RAGS, because that would make me actually keep your game on my hard drive rather than delete it in frustration after a few days of playing a new release.
If it makes you feel better I've been torturing myself attempting to do things with Ren'py today which it turns out unless you're using an existing framework or a bogstandard VN is a cocking nightmare so horrific to use that it almost makes even RAGS seem pleasant in comparison.
That actually was a bit of a help when you updated the game (but seriously, fuck RAGS for requiring those updates to work; Windows Media Player shouldn't be on anyone's computer by now).
Again, I love your games but they are pretty much the only ones for which I am willing to jump through RAGS due to how good they are (though while I was at it I checked out if the new Cursed update was any good... it wasn't)

To FC dev:
If you plan on switching engines, I assume you will have to rebuild pretty much everything anyways. I would highly recommend to pick an engine that does as much groundwork for you as possible, while still giving you access to a full programming language.
Now, I am not a programmer, but I think you should try out Ren'Py. Why the hell would you do that? Because it's designed to handle text games, works with python (which is a nice high-level language) and because it will force you to reconsider your UI.
If you have not played it already, you should play Defiler Wings by Old Huntsman. I think he shows off what can be done concerning game comploxity and UI in this engine. It's also good reference for what not do...
You could also consider Unity. There is a good chance you can find useful bits of code on the asset store: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/search/page=1/sortby=relevance/query=dialog&tree
It seems like overkill, but basically it will allow you to do whatever you want and expand the game in any way you want to pursue.
That said, stay away from small engines without a broad userbase and without an active community. And stay away from low-level languages like C. Because with that stuff you will just waste your time on reinventing the proverbial wheel.
Ren'py suffers from a lot of the same problems as Twine does. Its an engine for building a visual novel, not a management game.
if he wants to rebuild with a simple engine, he should use gamemaker like i am. Its got some limitations but its still a way more versatile tool than something like Twine or Ren'py.
Also if you have to redo everything anyways, I suggest to integrate a very modular phenotype system. Basically a person is female or male, but they might have sheer endless permutations of visual traits:
- different build (V-Shape, pear, Hourglass, Broad shoulder Hourglass... )
- tits [yes/no][size][shape][piercings][tattoos]
- Muscle tone (fat, chubby,slim, toned, athletic, body builder etc...)
- varying sex organs in all possible combinations
pussy [yes/no][shape][piercings][tattoos][state][functional yes/no],
- face [shape][scars][tattoos][piercings][make-up][state][nos eshape][eye shape][eye color] (state: dirty, tired, old, young, fresh, glowing)
- hair on head [shape][color][state]
- hair on body [shape][color][state]
- hair on genitals [shape][color][state]
- various implants and body mods...
I guess you have a lot of that already, but the main idea is to make it truly modular so anybody can look like anything and what's more can be changed into pretty much anything. Descriptions could be assembled from random non-default features. In later iterations, it could be moded to show a generated visual representation similar to Hermione in in the Hermione trainer game.

The only game that was made with gamemaker and became a big commercial success (that I am aware of) is Hotline Miami. And the engine did not make it easy to make that game.
There is a reason there are tons of shitty Unity games: It's easy to use and easy to get into and there is tons of resources available to newbs. Great developers can relatively quickly make great games with Unity.
So really, no reason to laugh at Unity. Hell I would recommend Unreal Engine, because it does not have the same stigma as Unity (yet), but the truth is, the Engine is not designed for text based games and has little support and features to offer for that.
I learned C about 8 years ago. It might have changed. But as far as I am aware, python does far far more things for you than C. And it's generally a more relaxed language to code in. Especially in games, the truly Object oriented nature of Python should be a blessing. It's only disadvantage is that it's not very fast. But that does not matter much, for a text-based game.

Basically its python with a big set premade stuff that can help you to build menus and all sorts of other shit that you don't want to waste time on.

A car going at 30mph is certainly fast but when you're talking about the speed of light it's not. It seems silly to bunch all of those programming languages under high level when there's a pretty big difference between them.
We were talking about C. I have nothing to say about C++ (or C#). As far as I know they are object oriented and therefore would be a decent match.
Getting off track here. Let's just agree that Python does automate more than C and that Python has an object oriented architecture, which works great for games. (C++ is similar in the object oriented aspect.)

The difference being the themes are sex-related, the players are represented as avatar cards on the board (for purposes of altering them, body swapping, etc). The fact that you suggest that renpy is only suited to visual novels is laughable since while it certainly does tout itself as a visual novel maker, it would work for any kind of interactive fiction and there wouldn't be the need for any major tweaks.
Are you confused about visual novels? You make choices in visual novels and these flags are stored, events occur in visual novels based on these flags. Storing character data isn't a large stretch and can be easily scripted in python.

I remember the /d/ MtG threads. They were fun because some of the cards posted created interesting fetish mechanics. I suppose the fetish cards technically fall under the purview of the /d/ games thread as they could in theory be implemented into Cockatrice (heh).
That said, as posted in your other thread, your cards trigger /tg/'s autism because they don't conform to Magic the Gathering's standard wording. The funny thing is that over the years MtG has become more standardized and keyword-based, like a programming language: "This card has ability N. Ability N is defined in the rules as doing Q, even if the card doesn't spell it out. Ability N interacts with other abilities according to the following rules..."
Back to my present point. Your image's rules text should instead state:

You kinda missed the point given I was suggesting visual novel -> management simulator makes as much sense a stepmania -> management simulator.

Except those aren't meant to be used to program a management game, they are supposed to keep track of decisions and stats in a visual novel to allow for multiple branching paths and allowing them to converge at certain points without having to go full procedural on each branching path.
The amount of Python hacking/injection you'd need to get to something similar to FC or No Haven is the equivalent of saying "would you like some coffee with your sugar?"
At that point you might be better off just doing it in Python (almost) from scratch
There is also very little "eastern" /d/ MtG art, which (along with a general lack of interest) is probably why MtG /d/ threads have dried up here.

i would disagree with what you said about the functions. Yes, they were built for the purpose of visual novels, but they're suitably flexible enough to be applied to FC. Just because hammers were invented to cave in skulls doesn't mean you can't use one to hammer in nails.
My point was is that the same applies to Stepmania, it was just supposed to highlight the ridiculousness of a visual novel engine for a management game.
Ren'py itself isn't adding anything to the game, it's python scypts that get hacked in that do all the heavy lifting (and I doubt FC would start getting custom art for his project).
I chose stepmania because it seems like the most obvious way to illustrate the point and even then if you are doing something as hacky it might actually result in something much more interesting using stepmania than ren'py given that you can add skill elements to the game in stepmania but cannot in ren'py (unless you hack them in).
I'd argue that at that point you'd just be better off doing your own Python code (or indeed, just use gamemaker, unity, whatever)

Start small and don't get too ambitious. If you don't know how to do something (write, code, draw) then either learn how or accept that your game won't probably won't have it.

Same advice I'd give any person looking to make a game: get to a working prototype stage as fast as possible, and then build upon that in iterations, rather than trying to do everything at once or systematically go from start to finish.
Also, be prepared for criticism, but also prepared to hold your ground. Figure out a vision, but make sure you listen to outside voices. And be ready to tell every entitled asshole that wants your work to be for them alone to go fuck themselves.
Think about what you want your game to have. Take a guess at how much time it would take to make it. Now multiply that by ten. You are still nowhere near the amount of time it would take.
Make your goals as modest and iterative as possible. Once you've got a bare-bones game you can release it into the wild for feedback, suggestions, bugtesting and kudos, which makes things a lot easier. Getting from 'I want to make a game' to 'here is version 0.1 of my game' is the biggest hurdle and 99% of h-games never get past this point. Most of them burn out without a single line of code being written as idea guys circlejerk about what the game is going to be like and wait for someone else to do all the work until they get bored and wander off.
This can be quite bad though if you realize you want something in the game which would have been easy to include from the start, but now would require major rewrites of the codebase. This is one of the things which make people abandon projects I assume.
That's my turn to chime in;
part of making your first game is accepting that it's shit. By the time you're done with it, you've either given up (probably due to creep) or simply learned so much that it looks terrible in comparison to how you'd do it knowing what you do now as a remake.
It happens again for second, third etc, but less so each time as you don't learn as much (and of course all of this is a generalisation, you could learn more from Game #4 than Game #1, but generally speaking it's true) and thus don't need to replace as much.
For actual usable advice, plan at the start and stick as closely to that as you're able in terms of content and features, because finished games that don't have everything you ended up wanting are ones you can make sequels for, while unfinished games that get stuck in Development Hell tend to be pretty discouraging

Nah, cheating implies rules, and given the process you're following in creating a game entails learning (pretty much always, unless you're so experienced with the engine and are basically making a reskin of a game you've made 1000 times before), it's a subjective thing, yeah? By the time you're done with NFCNNH, it won't look as good as the idealised form of the game that you've built in your head as you learned new things and discovered ways you could've done better.
As for FC and NH, I don't think I've implied they weren't great, and if I did I didn't mean to, it's more a case of everyone makes mistakes, Pobody's Nerfect etc. I am pretty doubtful that either of those are their respective devs first game (or coding project in general) in any case, so as I said, they'd be likely to be learning less from each project, and thus the game they actually made/are making stands up better to the new idealised version of the game in their minds.
And now somehow I feel that learning from the mistakes of others kinda does sound like cheating. Man, wtf

Managing Slaves. How would you like this to be done, as in displayed.
What I'm kind of thinking right now is at the beginning of each week you see a list of the slaves and current assignments a-la FC style, as well as shortform desc.
But from there, basically what i'm wondering is would you prefer to manage your slaves via a series of buttons
IE, a button that says
you get her longform desc, and a series of options, including assigning her for the week, a button to take you to the clothing menu, (inevitably due to the way gamemaker works it'd be quite hard to give you all the options on one screen)
Or would you prefer to have dropdown menus rather than buttons
Dropdown sounds a bit cleaner, if you mean a dropdown of actions to perform on a slave (Examine, clothe, etc). But on the other hand, buttons are more explicit, and easier to understand.
Thats why i'm kinda stuck.
I feel like dropdown would be very clean, but buttons would be easier to use.
The downside of buttons is that you might have to basically go through 3-4 screens of buttons to do what you want.
If you expect the needed number of buttons to scale with the total number of slaves or some other potentially large number, rather than being limited to 3-5 or something, I'd say dropdown menus.
Unless you get very extreme in numbers, and then you're looking at maybe needing to do something else. But dropdown menus scale a bit better than buttons, I feel.
