Bland with pretty good art. Considering how much I was looking forward to having Takeda on a comic book again, I'm pretty disappointed. And Liu let me down hard after her AXM run

Only read the one issue but from what I experienced the protag is this gross cliche of strong but silent individual who is out for revenge with strength that comes from a monster within that she can't control.

I liked the slaver and countess significantly more.

Take a look at some of the pictures, since its a comic it will help understand what i said. A post war world where another one is always close. High fantasy setting in a global Chinese world, as in europe and near east heavily influencing Chinese culture.

This girl goes to get revenge for the killer of her mom and starts having to deal with an elder god that seems to be inside her. With only 3 issues, even though the first one is triple sized, i can't say much more but she has plans for it to go a long time.

Just pick up the first issue its over 60 pages for 3.99. The art alone is worth much more than that
