I still can't believe they actually killed her. Pyrrha was part of the main cast, she was a member of the second most important team in RWBY. I honestly now wonder how JNPR will cope with losing their Ace. It would be like losing Yang for RWBY.

Will they eventually suggest and seek a replacement for Pyrrha? Is Jaune fine with all this, or is he still riddled with guilt, grief, and remorse of how things turned out? Will Nora be able to retain her optimistic, cheer nature, especially when we know she sees her team as literal family? I don't know much about Ren.

With the power of bullshit soul magic, sure.

If Yang's eyes are a mix between her two parents, red from Raven and blue from Tai, it is completely possible there will be two sides to her semblance.

If there is a purple to red change that works from anger and damage, it's possible that after seeing Tai Yang is calm and such, that there could be a blue side to Yang's semblance, which will be harder for her to use due to her natural temperament.

It wouldn't be a stretch, as Weiss' summoning came out of nowhere, Blake learnt to use dust with her semblance and Ruby awoke her silver eye powers, so a progression to Yang's power is in the cards.

It could just be a more refined use of strength, possibly reflection or just like a less ferocious blue fire instead of the raging red fire, it could even be healing for all we know and the cop-out to get yang her arm back, based on healing damage she takes as opposed to redirecting it outwards.

I just hope yang's lack of development isn't a sign that this is the end of her importance in RWBY, her name is in the title after all.

We've only really seen Cinder once without at least 50% maidenhood, during which the only ability she used was probably Dust based (since we see her first throw glass in the show by using a Dust canister). She also weaves Dust into her clothing, which tends to light up when she generates her weapons and throws fire from her hands.

It's unclear whether Ruby is a Maiden (almost certainly Winter if so) and the silver eyes are just a sign of that, or if the silver-eyes legend is something entirely different. My second argument for this is that Yang is based on Goldilocks.

In the same vein of the 3 bowls of porridge, on being too hot, one too cold and the third just right, I think her semblance will develop the same way.

Due to her natural temperament, the easiest way to use her semblance is through anger and damage, but we saw where that got her. Now that she is depressed, I think her semblance will manifest differently, possibly through Tai's training to be healing or something, but of course, that will clash too much with her natural instinct, so she will find the middle ground between the two to be able to work it.

I mean, volume 2 was about Blake advancing her techniques through incorporating dust in her semblance, as well as finding the issue with Weiss & Yang's technique (weiss' that she wasn't doing much damage and stuff & yang that she relied on striking enemies and trading blows to get the upper hand).

Volume 3 was about showing Yang becoming overly reliant on her semblance & having it pay off in losing her arm & Weiss developing her technique to actually do something (big ice wombos & summoning at the end).

Volume 1 is moot, as it was just introductions & Weiss being a prodigy advanced faster than Yang. The issue is that Yang's semblance was overpowered, besides that Yang was very limited in her fighting style and ability to adapt.
