You're right, silly me.
And that does it for this issue. Hope you all enjoyed the storytime
the whole plot of the Blob being in Paris killing monsters, sending them to a restaurant to get them cooked, doesnt make much sense to me.
Also, last time we saw him he was depowered and addicted to mutant hormonal drugs in order to get his powers back.
I dont have a problem with that. There are many dead mutants (or depowered mutants) I would like to see back and healthy.
I think in the last Uncanny Avengers there was a cameo of Harry Leland, the fat guy of the hellfire club who could control density, he died in the 80s of a heart attack while the hellfire club and x-men were fighting nimrod
>If I'm in charge of starting the conversations now, we might be in trouble
Why? It's not like she's a taciturn character. She pretty much talks all the time.
It's honestly extremely bland and it uses the same "I need the charactes to act in a certain way, fuck the past" mentality that Arena did.
It's why Laura now quips like she's fucking John McClain here and only here.
Here and only here, Anon.
Normally, she IS taciturn. But in this series, she's a veritable chatty cathy.
The sick thing is, Hopeless did write her like that in Arena. His characterization of her has gone DOWN since then.
It's like someone said "She needs a personality!" and all these morons decided to do was take away the one she already had. She is now the most cookie cutter, boring grrrl power archetype imaginable. It's like watching Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft with claws and healing factor.
this is not even not getting the character right. This is actively trying to make her the contrary of what she was
Like always, it's Bendis' fault.
I don't know man, in her solo, she acts solo, here she tries to make a good face for the bad game. Also, we don't know if her solo takes place before the anxm, during or after some of the events. You can make sense out of it, if you bother to try, but I stopped caring about these things. It's not 70s or 80s anymore where editors were coordinating such things, and writers don't really give that much shit about characterization. With that said, I like it for what it is - a soap opera teenage drama
>Laura acting like she's a masochistic adrenaline junkie
>posing for pictures while taking out bullets out of her body
>jobbing this badly to Blob of all people
after the past few issues I was almost fooled to thinking Hopeless was writing an okay book but this is just shit.
iirc the only form wolverine has of hurting the blob, is stabbing him in the anus or eyes, he cant slash or penetrate his skin.
I also remember that time he snikted his ass.
Idie should be able to beat the Blob by choking him with smoke. He still needs to breath. But there is not much X23, Angel, Beast can do against him.
I dont know if Evan is as strong as Apocalypse.
I'm trying to like this, I really really am but FUCK Laura is NOT Laura, Angel is fucking retarded,Beast and the rest of the team are boring. The only minimally interesting thing about this book has been Cyclops and god damn me because I am the guy who literally started a Cyclops hate fanpage.
