Don't mind me just the only Panther to win during the Super Bowl walking by.
No Waifus. No Threads.
>this element from the original is also in this adaptation
>how dare they!
It kinda looks fun, guess it'll wholly depend on the kid's acting ability since everything's CG
also dat casting holy fuck
They still kept Balooh being a lazy fuck whereas he was the most educated animal in the book, though.
I guess it's a sort of Disney oblige. They were going to disapoint fans if they didn't kep him at leastin some way the same way he was recreated by Disney.
>and Kaa is still one of the bad guys
Is he (she?) in the trailer, it didn't look like the snake was portrayed as bad. Can't tell if the snake is portrayed good either, but where is your source Kaa is still bad?
I think we ALL would be far more interested in a live-action Talespin movie.
>tfw this looked better than x-men, turtles and civil war
what the literal fuck is happening?
the only movies I'm really hyped for this year are batman v superman and doctor strange
another grittty reboot? why?
>this trailer pop-up
>mfw its look fun

The wolves were one of the things that annoyed me the most about the Disney cartoon. Mowgli's whole shtick was that he was raised in a pack, yet the cartoon had about two minutes of wolves in it.
Holy christ is there any way they fix the audio mixing on the voices before it comes out?
That's honestly a deal breaker for me. Call me autistic but Kingsley sounds like he's sitting next to me lip dubbing and it's sucking me right out of the movie.
I'm sold. It just makes me nostalgic. Jungle Book was the VHS I kept playing all day as a kid.
You realize this is a book written by Rudyard Mother Fucking Kipling right? I *believe* their were talking animals in the book too but I haven't read it.
Anyways, Kipling is based.
How come Hollywood always does this? Multiple movies with the same plot come out at the same time?
My theory is that a script was shopped around and then people said "Uhh... not that uhhh... sucks...uhh" and then turned around and copied it to pretend like it was their own to avoid working with the other people involved or paying them.
Usually it's because the material recently passed into public domain so all of the studios fast track their adaptations to be the first.
ANYONE INTERESTED IN SHERLOCK HOLMES OR PETER PAN BTW?????
There are Marvel video game threads and Marvel and DC live action threads and you have the balls to ask this question.
When I was a kid I thought the song was about "Bear Nut Sesame Seeds" and Baloo was singing about these things because he wanted to eat them, they were so good they made you forget about your troubles and your worries, like some kind of bear beer.
