>Well thanks a lot Ollie now we can't try that Good Cop Bad Cop Neutral Cop Morally Grey Cop interrogation technique we were talking about.
>waiting for the inevitable team-up with Isaac after the hitball semifinals
Johnny's so fucking sweet. He's a bully and pretty unhinged but he's so cute. I don't want Forge to fuck him up... But this interaction with Ed, Forge is going to stick his oar in and Ed'll notice right? BRING THE CHAOS.
We True Detective now.
I wonder if Spender / The Consortium had thought of some post-exorcism recovery programme for Jhonny in case of Forge's inevitable exit.
Y'all been baited by them tumblrs, aren't ya?
> Isaac a spectral
> Spirit can touch Isaac
> Ollie a muggle
> Spirit goes through Ollie
> Doctopus sucks Johnny
...how could I have not realized this. Well played, Zack.

>Ectoplasm behaves like a physical substance, but only spectrals can perceive it. It’s on the floor on this page, too. I’ll get into this more later, but a lot of spirit stuff works like that. That’s why there are spirits that walk on the ground instead of just floating through everything. They don’t affect physical reality but they behave as if they’re a part of it (The sphinx in the current chapter is one such spirit).
>Note that this means that for spirits who have that kind of interactive relationship with physical reality (and don’t have poltergeist status) any physical material is an impenetrable barrier for them! You’ll see this later on but a main reason I set up all these rules is that a thing for Max is that he finds all the quirks and loopholes in them and exploits them.
Doctopi are one of the low-power spirits for which, like ectoplasm, all objects are solid, allowing them to latch onto normals to feed.
Johnny was being dumb and thought the bald kid was saying that "just looking" at Eddie would be enough to get him to break down and tell them everything he knows. The bald kid actually meant that Eddie looks weak and easy to beat up.
>panels 1 and 2
>bullies plot to discover the secrets of the Levitating Club
>Ollie says "Just look at 'im."
>Johnny humorously misinterprets this statement on how Ed looks like a wuss as "Just looking at Ed will make him talk."
>Johnny weighs whether to just look at him or beat him up
>a bit of johnny's uncertainty about the new changes in his body leaks through
>Ollie has an unspecified job in the school?
>Forge melodramatically angsts about drawing a child into his not-yet-explained agenda
>>Forge is a massive asshole
> willing to put his foot through Spencer
He didn't even try to put his foot THROUGH anything. Just left some first degree burns to let Rick "Die monster! You don't belong in this world!" Splendid remember him by after he tried to kill Forge with the power of self-righteousness.
Forge knows he's a vile, evil person. That's like his whole character. Despising his own actions. Trying to atone for them. And he has an especially tender spot when it comes to harm to children. He almost let it take him off the path of redemption serving the angel.
So of course he feels guilty now that he's going to do that again.
>AND NOW I MUST USE YOU AGAIN.
>WILL EVER BE THE SAME.
>FORGIVE ME, BOY.
>I USED YOU TO GET INTO MAYVIEW,
Yep. It seems that Zack's relying on us to read strictly from left to right.
I forgot about those dumbasses. Zack literally said they were wrong on twitter.
But even if you ignore Zack we've known this since August already. Jacket-morons BTFO.
>wearing a cap with the hood up
Has to be a fucking nigger, thanks for fucking nothing Zack.
>anon the hands are white
Y'know black face? Instead of black face, it's white face. Or, extremely bleached skin.
Wait a minute.
Forge is wearing pants.
What the hell, the iron scales aren't part of his body. It's his own forged armor.
He's just shirtless, we've been cheated of his naked gargantuan schlong of steel yet again by Hack Morrison.
>there are spirits that walk on the ground instead of just floating through everything. They don’t affect physical reality but they behave as if they’re a part of it (The sphinx in the current chapter is one such spirit).
>the sphinx walks on the ground for-real, not just pretending
>but phased through Ollie in flashback
Isaac should have been able to use Ollie as an invincible human shield.
I loved how some characters were made like the anchors to the audience's sanity.
Story was pretty noice - the spoopyness of Danny Phantom meets the unpredictability of Men in Black with a bit of Kung Fu Hustle flamboyance...as other people have said, Chapter 3 to pre-Maxwell's-Dream Chapter 4 is the very enthralling magnum opus in all art and storytelling aspects.
I gave your mum oblivion last night
Forge always cared about the kids
or at the very least he wasn't willing to hurt anyone who couldn't take the hit
(Yeah, I didn't bother to check back because I wanted to send my post quick. Whoops.)
>I wonder if Spender / The Consortium had thought of some post-exorcism recovery programme for Jhonny in case of Forge's inevitable exit.
Why would they? He would be a spectral and a part of the clum by then.
>You’ll see this later on but a main reason I set up all these rules is that a thing for Max is that he finds all the quirks and loopholes in them and exploits them
It's been three years since then, and we haven't seen that yet
how long is Paranatural gonna be anyways?
>they don't realize the right answer is Ditto every time!
Literally impossible to be wrong.
He'll be HumiliatED again when it turns out Johnny will be buffer.
And inherit the greatest ass in paranatural.
