Superbowl Commercial edition
All five of the Superbowl commercials:
Answering a question from last thread:
>When is the best time in the week to avoid families in the audience? I was thinking Wednesday at 12. Tomorrow I'd be asleep by then, and Tuesday afternoon I have plans.
Yes, noontime on the weekdays seems to be a good time to get an empty theater for childrens' movies. I went to a Wednesday 12:25 showing and there were only two other people in the theater.
The super bowl ad was pretty good though.
It would have been better if they at least had Shifu's VA from Legends of Awesomeness, though. The guy they had in the ad was terrible. He sounded more like Splinter from TMNT than Shifu.
Great, advertising this fucking site again in a way kids will be bound to be inclined to use it.
There was enough 12 year old made websites back when fanart and shipping had a fucking war with sites being made for no reason.
Reposting for anyone who missed it last thread

I'm surprised there wasn't a shitload of Crane/Mei Ling shipping after this was released.
2D Crane a qt.
>Also Kung Fu Panda is a pretty baffling choice to cross-sponser a website creation service.
They're only doing it as advertisement for the third movie. Wix was likely just the one to offer the most money to have their name alongside a recently-released Dreamworks film.
Fox Mei Ling from the Nickelodeon series was better. Too bad her 3D CG model was pretty shit.
>Fox Mei Ling from the Nickelodeon series was better.
She had more of a character due to appearing for two episodes instead of two dozens of seconds, but that character was one of a total bitch callously exploiting an infatuated beta.
I finally got around to drawing a picture of Tigress. Enjoy.
Mei Ling was okay looking by the show's standards, although cat Mei Ling is the hottest KFP girl so it's almost an unfair comparison.
Best looking girl from the show is still Song / ladies of the shade.
>Best looking girl from the show is still Song / ladies of the shade.
Yeah, I counted not one but two dick jokes in the first half of the movie. Bleh. The humor here was definitely a bit worse than the other two. But Kai mostly makes up for it.
They most likely assumed that the millions of people watching the commercials wouldn't notice because they haven't seen the movies or haven't seen them in a long time.
Not sure how they managed to get the VAs for Po, Mantis and Mr. Ping but not Shifu.
Ehhhh, considering that in the TV series, they got completely different voice actors to almost perfectly mimic the movie's voice actors, I don't think that's what happened. At the very least, they would have let him listen to clips from the movie(s) to get a feel for what Shifu sounds like.
An animation studio that's been going as long as Dreamworks has, would not just have someone do a "blind" voice-over for a character.
Also, wtf is up with Peng's character model? He looks like Quasimodo
Maybe they were just betting on a majority of the audience having never seen the movies? That's the only reason I can think of that they would give Shifu a different voice that includes a faux oriental accent.
They should have stuck with the Shifu voice from the pilot episode. That was the only time LoA Shifu sounded remotely like movie Shifu. Now he's just some grumpy bumbling old guy.
>the nuke dodgers were literally sea food
Serious question. I made threads for the show back when it was still around and nobody seemed to like it on /co/. Only a few people participated in those threads. But these recent threads for the movie have been full of discussion about the show.
It it just a function of time - people appreciating something once its gone - or is it something else driving this?
>Tigress in the show is generally more likeable than in the movies.
The F5 in general are more likable in the TV series because they actually get time to shine outside of fight scenes or one-off jokes.
Probably a "people appreciating it once it's gone" thing, yes.
There's also the fact that the 2nd half of S3 has yet to air, so I suppose there's a bit of hype surrounding that.
But even so, opinions on the show are still just "it's okay/mediocre". It's not bad, it's just nothing special either, and certainly nowhere near as good as the movies.
It's not ultra-detailed or anything, but it's not bad either. Has a kind of watercolor feel to it.
That and, it's not particularly a "porn comic" per say, just a comic that happens to have tons of porn in it.
Lotta story arcs and chapters, and it took the artist a long time to complete. That's how it got to 447 pages.
>Good art of something that should never get porn
It's like pottery
