So if Joker is the villain in Suicide Squad, who's gonna be the villain in Batfleck's solo movie?
>So if Joker is the villain in Arkham Asylum, who's gonna be the villain in Arkham City?
>So if Joker is the villain in Arkham City, who's gonna be the villain in Arkham Origins?
People love Joker. It will be Joker.
Mr. Freeze, the most tragic and most relatable villain, and he hasn't been touched since Arnold, and who know how he'll be on Gotham, I dont watch the show, but they could make a really fucking great and serious Batman movie with Mister Freeze, like Daniel Day Lewis serious
Only 1 marketable villain, don't get me wrong, I'd fucking kill to have Clayface be the main antagonist, but casuals aren't going to line up to see Batman fight what appears to be a walking pile of shit, just like with Superman, he has ro fight Lex or an Evil Superman or else no one gives a shit. It's fucking sad because I'd love to see Metallo go head to head with Supes. But this is the shitty world we live in.
Clayface. The entire movie will be bad CGI.
Personally I want to see them go with the science/monster villains that get no love, like Clayface and Man-Bat and Croc. You can tie Man-Bat and Croc's origin together. Clayface can be easy to do because he can technically be anyone.
Also I want an Under the Red Hood adaption. It's a good compacted story and after Nolan-verse refused to give us a Robin, it'd be a nice change of pace.
I would much rather have Red Hood be the villain of Nightwing's movie.
Think about it, it could be about Nightwing returning to Gotham after many years of fighting crime in Bludhaven to help Bruce defeat Red Hood. Two former Robins up against eachother.
As for who I want for Batman's solo film, excluding Joker, I really want to see the Riddler. I'd want the plot to be about Riddler creating a massive database of thousands of people's personal information and plans to sell it on the black market. He sends cryptic clues to the police, and only Batman can decipher it. Make it happen Warner Bros.
I don't know, I think a Nightwing movie could be marketable. Maybe if they show him in a solo Batman movie, and more people learn about him, there could be some good demand for a movie.
What movie is he going to be in /co/? Guggenheim said he was in a dc project.
Probably the next live action Batman movie, Deathstroke has been getting more and more popular in the last few years, having Jim featured in a film pulls at a handful of diffrent fanbase (teen Titans cartoon, comic fans, Arkham Knight, CWVerse). If it's not Joker, then I'd say it's a good bet that it will be Slade.
He's not the villain in Suicide Squad.
The trailers seem to indicate perhaps the SS are tasked with bringing in Joker, but are forced to take on a larger threat - whatever's tied to that weird tentacle/ink/powers in the last trailer.
They were under the MCU banner though, DC usually fails to adapt any villain that isn't Joker, think back, almost all of them in every film was a goddamn travesty. I'd love to see a Batman movie with Clayface as the big bad, but the rest of the world is going to be asking literally who and where is joker?
Yeah but the movies still sold tickets. Saying a Superman movie with Metallo or a Batman movie with Clayface as the villain won't sell is like saying an Iron Man movie won't sell because nobody knows who Obadiah Stane or Justin Hammer or the Mandarin are.
I could see them doing Deathstroke in a Winter Soldier style plot, but it'd probably work better if it was Red Hood so that the hired mercenary had more of a connection to Batman.
Especially since they're laying the groundwork for it with BvS.
i really hope they do an under the red hood thing
on that note, i also hope that scott eastwood is jason todd in suicide squad. either that or dick grayson, i wouldnt mind either desu
Who gives a shit about TDK Two Face? It's just, okay, here's Dent, and here's Rachel, and Batman's my buddy so let's fight crime together OH NO Rachel is dead and my face burned off so fuck Batman oh no now I'm dead.
Some fucking villain, in that universe Dent is nothing more than an excuse for Batman to feel guilty and 'retire'.
