O Captain! My Captain! Edition
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it
I require Summer and her raspberry bosoms.
Let's play a game.
Can you spot the Gavin?
ANAL REPORTER IS A ASSHOLE
no more, that's left in the other thread
so now that whole mess with the green texts is over.
what are you going to do today to make monty proud?
i'm going to get started on my writing some "trailers" for my OC fanfic
I've run the image through an incredibly complex FBI Gavindar. There is no Gavin in that image.
...But wait a second... What is that...
One day you almost had me that one time Roman by 1 second.
Just luck i guess.
Please stop it's annoying having threads be swamped by this.
I'm no weeb but is the Japanese Dub of RWBY any good
I can't seem to find it anywhere
Also post best faunus
with best faunus lover
Brief history of greentexts causing trouble:
>Pre-RWBY: Literally nothing
>Vol 1: Literally nothing
>Vol 1 hiatus: Literally nothing
>Vol 2: Literally nothing
>Vol 2 hiatus: Literally nothing
>Vol 3: Autismo awakens a few episodes in, reports greentexts for a few threads and disappears
Hopefully! Gonna be a science fantasy, so we'll see.
Velvet is love.
Literally the only ones starting this shit up again are the people wanting greetexts.
You got told off about how much of a newfag you are last thread, shut the fuck up. That is not true in the slightest.
I was referring to pre RWBY general RWBY threads.
listen, I don't even know what all this is about. All I know is that all of last thread was people bitching and I'm sick of seeing that. So either contribute by discussing RWBY or other RT properties or shut up
I doubt it'll matter.
The stories worth capping gets capped and writers will still be shitting them out, despite the cucks who still can't figure out what a filter is.
It's a lot in the sense that once the entire story is out, the damage is done. And there is nothing more that can be done from that point other than trying to move onto stage 3 which is reporting caps. To further prove that mods doesn't care or even read reports.
Besides, if you have trouble getting your hands on the story you missed, Then the stories posted will always end up on desustorage regardless after getting deleted or not.
Like Kink's story from last thread.
I swear you have the best internet the world can offer. This captcha shit and the thread loading slows me down by a lot
WAIT WAIT. IF VELVET IS LOVE AND LIFE DOES THAT MEAN I SPENT MY VELVET VELVETING VELVET WHILE SHE VELVETS VELVET AND YANG WHO ALSO VELVETS VELVET WHILE VELVETING MY VELVET FOR VELVET AND VELVET?!
I want to cuddle with Yang!! Who do you want to cuddle with, /RWBYg/?
I'm going to try and flesh out my OC team a bit, give them some personality, some flaws, some ego, that kind of thing.
The next step would be to get them drawn, but I can't draw myself, so I'd either have to commission an artist or maybe ask a drawfriend here if they could make my team. Neither seems likely, in my eyes
So let me get this straight
We cannot make Greentext stories on these threads
But it is absolutely ok to post screencaped Stories
Also someone from fucking both sides explain the sitution, I want to see what the fucking problem is
The captcha's are always the same. Street names, numbers, pancakes, steak, ice cream even. all it takes is a quick look too see whats there more then anything else and boom.
>mfw Velvet is my waifu
I want to fuck that sentence senseless...
>To someone who is autistic
It would take me three hours, two cans of ENERGY DRINK and one heart attack. Then you'd still have a fucking question about the specific definition of one word that doesn't matter.
Definitely Velvet, but Yang and Weiss are close.
I should also work on my cosplays more. Oobleck, Captain Cold,
male Velvet if I can work up the nerve...
Ah I forgot to see if Canvas would draw SOUP sometime. It's really cool working with artists.
But if Yang is animated Barb.
And Blake has a Barbed penis...
Then Blake... Being animated would also mean her Barbed penis is animated...
That would mean Blake has a Yanged penis... Right?
I would teach her about about the male human biology.
I actually got some NEW shit like apartment buildings and houses.
Ugh yeah those are annoying.
That's interesting i might do this myself could make it quicker.
Teenagers skip school every now and again to go out and do shit with magic. Big vehicles that feasibly shouldn't work, stuff like that.
What I really want is to get good at drawing and turn what I've written into a webcomic. All of this stuff is somehow more tolerable to everyone else when in comic form
>We didn't have greentext stories pre-RWBY, fucking newfag. I don't even think there were any when V1 was airing.
>didn't have any when volume 1 was airing
Yes we did. They were just less RWBY related than the one's we have now.
Surprising THOSE didn't get deleted ain't it?
I have such mixed feelings on RWBY. There is so much wrong with it and it has at times disappointed me more than any other show, The Breach was probably the most upset I have ever been with a show. There are so many problems with the writing and so many problems with the animation. With Monty at least the fights were good but now without him the plot has at least managed to start going in the right direction despite the fights now being shit. It has so many goddamn problems.
So why do I love it so much? I really enjoy it and genuinely love so many of the characters and cheesy moments. I know it's shit but I can't help myself. I can't reconcile liking it with myself.
Is this how homosexuals that have been raised by fundamentalist Christians to think that the gay is the devil's influence feel?
Since we're not allowed to story anymore, about some discussion?
Humiliation (mostly insults)...bitch goddess-type stuff
Teacher and student
Leg worship, breast worship
Serious physical harm
It's always been against the rules. SHUT THE FUCK UP. Jesus Christ you guys are worse than the ones reporting it. Fuck you, and fuck your greentexts. I was with you guys until now.
You're entertained by it, we all are, it's a guilty pleasure.
It's still pretty mediocre despise volume 3 being the best so far, and Miles and Kerry can easily fuck up future volumes.
One things for sure: I'm still entertained by it no matter how bad it gets.
As much as i don't want to open this can of shit. I feel like the thread might devolve into that sooner or later. So let's hope this to be the last of it.
Have my totally unbiased run-through of the whole thing.
>ReportAnon (let's call him RA)
>RA doesn't like Greentext stories
>In fact, RA doesn't like those stories who exceed 5 lines.
>Unable to figure out how to scroll past something he didn't like. He reports every green in sight and attempts to justify it via rule 6
>He's been consistently doing this on several threads and generals, believing that his actions are justified.
>Even insisting on that green is also breaking rule 3, but even then comes to realise that even after being proven wrong. He attempts cling to the assumption that "If it wasn't against the rules, the mods wouldn't have it deleted"
>This in turn, proving that the mods are incapable of understanding their own written rules prompts a bunch of anons to scream BOT and claim that there is a bot shuffling through the reports with the "BAN" stamp ready..
>the entire argument goes back and forth on wether or not rule 6 is up to interpretation and "Did the mods say so?"
>RA continue to say that it's not his fault that "The mods wants it that way" and basically states "If you don't want me to abuse the report system, just go to /trash/."
>people getting triggered all over.
>have two threads about it.
As to your statement about it being okay to post caps. My guess is as good as anyone elses. What we can deduce from this whole event is that mods just doesn't care and won't give us an answer to this anytime soon.
This has all just been a proper shitstorm.
Basically people are telling others to just ignore or hide greentexts if they don't like it, but posting their stories in a pastebin or on /trash/ is just too hard for them. Now that the side against greentexts have power, everyone's crying and shitting up the threads.
Literally anything but scat and ballbusting.
Im not sure if i should count in NTR, because it makes me feel more sad than it should for a "kink"
Moot said RWBY was /co/ material
So RWBY was always supposed to be on /co/, general or not.
And come on, we were ALWAYS a general.
>Someone makes another one
>eventually call ourselves a general
We were ALWAYS a general, just didn't have a name.
But we did the same things.
Shit on other waifus
>General in the name
Shit on other waifus
>RWBY material about the girls is totally fanfiction
>But one of the namefags being a character in the show isn't fanfiction
I guess. I'm a bit mixed on Volume 2 vs Volume 3 at the moment though.
Volume 2 was mostly good (by RWBY standards) and only really massively dropped the ball in the final episode which was so bad that it completely betrayed and ruined the entire Volume.
The first 5 episodes of Volume 3 were barely watchable, but it's picked up since then and now is really exciting.
The ideal episode for episode twelve would be M&K not delivering on their Valentine's day surprise. Which could potentially destroy the OTP's of many a shippers and bring about an upstart from anons who'll continue to shitpost about "Le waifu stealer" and NTR for months to come.
The results would absolutely be fun to watch though.
>It's always been against the rules
>was never deleted until an anon started whinning about wasting posts and reporting them
>everything fine again
>some anon whines about and reports them again
So the stories are not the problem. The anon
janitorthat doesn't like them is the problem.
Because moving your middle finger down on the mouse wheel is so much less convinent than a day long, off topic argument.
Idea for a novel. AR leads to new tribe formations similar to the mods punks and whatever the fuck those poofs are called that occured in Britain.
The protagonists would be two Ronin guys and their respective adventures. Two short novels blended together.
I was gonna work on a story and maybe my larger projects, but I ended up watching Archer and playing with my dog, so now I'm going to do homework and other non-creative things, since that isn't allowed here anyways.
/sug/ is the only other one i can remember on the top of my head. Which makes me somewhat more confused as to why one wouldn't go after the thread that is literally dedicated for nothing but writing.
After spending months browsing my usual corners of 4chan in a haze and basically hating what the place has become I stumbled across /RWBYg/ a couple weeks back. You guys made browsing 4chan fun and interesting again and I just wanted to get all gay for a second and say thanks.
>And there's nothing you can do about it
don't you love this guy brag?
someone screen cap it and post on Hiroito 4chan twitter, from this day on 4chan belongs to janitors and what we want does not matter
Strangely enough, she is.
>technically not allowed.
But they are. Incompetent mods does not prompt the justification for the deletion of RWBY/RT content in the RWBY/RT thread.
>Trying to fight it like the idiot
But despite having a reporting anon or two for over a year, we've had plenty of writers post their content only for it to get deleted later on. Ultimately making no difference because it got capped for everyone to post endlessly for as long as they have a stable internet connection. And truth be told, a ban from 1 to 3 days isn't scary.
You have shit tastes senpai, post better ship
they don't listen to us and let a janitor act like a tiny tyrant.
and we should be thankful?
look, they don't have to stay, if they hate the place so much they want to see it burn.
this kind of shit have been going on for months now, is not a new deal.there is no way they don't see what is happening.
>And truth be told, a ban from 1 to 3 days isn't scary.
Someone said this in the last thread. He then said the reason he stopped writing was because idiots like you wouldn't stop engaging people.
>watch new episode
>Ruby comes in saves save Juan and phrra
>About to fight the giant bird one on one
aww yeah finally she gets a one on one fight scene get pumped
>weapons fall landed it on it
>characters that was nowhere to be seen show up and rob her of that fight.
even if she lost it would have gotten my hype
>It's all you! Anyone that says anything negative to me is you!!!!
You people have autism.
>but they are
Not this shit again. No you're totally right, mods do NOT get to decide what gets put on the site that they control. All you're doing by arguing about how the mods are against you is just ruining the threads for everyone else and scaring off writefags.
>No, the problem is you trying to fight it like the idiot you are.
>The janitor deleting it isn't the problem
>fighting the janitor is
So you admit it's not a rule violation, but it's a pissy janitor that we have to bow down to?
This guy gets it. RWBY is a big world, rife with potential, and fan works capitalize on that, since right now RWBY isn't much in terms of world building. Plus, Monty did create a guide for creating OCs, so there's that
Something getting deleted would mean that it broke a rule. But if something that is following the rule still gets deleted, people will assume that there is an unspoken implied rule.
So the question remains wether or not to follow an implied rule or the actual rules written down for us to follow.
>if it makes writers leave?
if they were realy standing for 4chan, they would stop. because people who create content is the life and soul of 4chan.
but they want it all to go to SHIT.
they want this place dead and buried.
I'm pretty hyped for that
Despite being very ready to complain a few weeks ago at the possibility of Yang having a rematch with Neo and beating her despite not improving at all since their last battle, I genuinely think Ruby might have a chance at beating or at least successfully fending of Neo because of her quicker, less predictable fighting style
Rooster Teeth loves fan content
So in a thread not only about RWBY, but the company itself, fan related content is not only ON TOPIC but ENCOURAGED, so claiming it is off topic is one of the stupidest things that anyone can say ever.
Where did I admit it wasn't a rule violation? Literally where? Mods and Janitors decide what rules to enforce, fighting against it is what's ruining these threads. You have every right to post your stuff in /trash/ or a pastebin, but you don't because you want to fight something you can't even touch.
It's already happened, though. So you already succeeded. You singlehandedly opened a can you knew had the potential to kill any creativity this thread had. Call us the ones that did it, but you were the one that opened it. Don't act like you care about this general
>now that the side against greentext has power
Motherfucker this has been going on for a good amount of time, there's nothing "now" about it, besides the fact that this retardation is STILL happening.
How about a cute story about Yang and Ruby going out Trick or treating for the first time together?
I still like the idea of Ruby and Neo being best friends spending time together.
That fantasy might end Saturday :(
Anyone else starting to believe the world of RWBY operates with a leveling system?
How else do we explain Weiss' newfound bursts of speed? Or Ruby's newfound spatial awareness of a tier that would make most birds jealous?
So in that respect, we're honoring Monty's vision by doing that. And what a day to do it on, the anniversary of his death
What if he hadn't died RWBYg? What if Monty was still alive to this day?
It's almost like they are students.
Hunters in training.
Studying to become real hunters.
Learning how to become a better hunter and improve on their abilities.
because, you know
Sweet, thanks anon.
>I literally just capped it a few seconds before it got deleted as I was typing this response.
Monty used "levels" as a short hand for clear seperation of skill (I/E, a person of so much skill can use such a "level" of dust) but I don't think he was being literal.
But if you listen to the commentary, Monty, Miles and Kerry spend a decent amount of time talking about wanting characters to seem like they actually grow and get stronger without full blown anime training montages/arcs. Mostly I think Weiss is just getting better at her glyphs use so she can string a bunch together now.
White Trailer. Weiss has two moves in the trailer, gofast with glyph or use dust in sword.
So the Armor from the White Trailer was a grim that the Schnee family had for training purposes, huh?
Honestly, i think it's funnier that already 3 pages into the manga, we get more backstory about Weiss than the show could put together in 3 seasons.
No, see, improvement would need to be gradual. A level system leads to feats. Shit that would be impossible for them a month ago, etc.
It's not like it's a bad thing you raging faggot, I'm trying to discuss the medium, jesus fucking christ.
That's assuming that's canon in both versions. It makes sense given that it is mentioned people have tried to capture Grimm for study (it doesn't go well) and how the knight dissipates when killed, but I wouldn't say for sure it's canon unless M&K, or maybe Gray confirm.
>flagella on the inside of a restraint
My fucking godforsaken fetish.
I love you, you motherfucking ungodly bastard for capping that, and I love KinkAnon for writing that, hot god fucking damn.
>Fanfic being off topic
Well, at least you're not being called out for allegedly not making quality posts on /vg/ of all places.
I'd need to see confirmation on that. I've heard that the manga writer has worked with M&K, but I've also heard it's not necessarily literally canon to the animation.
For instance, we've never seen any indication in the show Ruby fought Cardin.
My blood pressure is up from some unrelated shit. I still love you.
You fucking little spicy bitch, I swear to god, one of these days I'm going to emasculate you with your own eviscerated bowels. Then, I'm going to use those same bowels which I've just strangled your pathetic fucking manhood off with to make sausage and sell it to your parents for discount prices. It'll be a "family" discount and when they ask me why since we're not family, I'll reply... I'm a friend of your son is all.
You're a fucking retard, and don't even know the definition of the word "rule".
The rules are clearly stated here: http://www.4chan.org/rules
The thing that's the problem according to you and your Peter Pan gayboy posse is that they violate rule 6 (not of quality) or rule 3 (not on topic).
The rules are clear, you just want to argue that this content classifies as either off-topic or bad.
Mods don't make the rules, the rules have been made and won't change in the foreseeable future.
Mods get to enforce these rules, but that doesn't mean that they can't be wrong about shit.
Hell, I got permabanned one month ago, and I appealed it successfully. What was the problem? A mod fucked up and misunderstood a rule.
Just like what we have here.
When people fuck up, you want them to not fuck up, and that's why these discussions pop up.
Nothing has really conflicted with canon yet. The first two chapters take place some time before the Jaune arc, and the third chapter takes place before/during the white trailer, but doesn't seem to conflict with what we already know.
That said, it does seem like the artist was given a bit of freedom on what he can do, according to M&K, and they occasionally talk back and forth about certain things.
I hate myself for giving them money. I hate myself for expecting anything at all from them. But for real, I'm pretty pissed. I paid for a signed copy and literally the only signature is Michael's.
Can we talk about how terrible Burnie is instead of the meta shit for the third straight thread?
>posting a fan fic in a releated thread is an off topic rule violation
>a global rule mind you
>posting the same thing in a different thread is okay dispite the same GLOBAL rule applying
So do you just ignore all logic in the world?
Are you Kanye West?
>Micheals signature is just a quickly written M
Huh, well, that's an interesting result. The janitor applied temporary block (automatically applied with a ban request) expired after 15 minutes, and now I seem to be able to post, for now at least. It will be interesting to see where this goes from here, though I'll probably hold off on further greentexts for the moment, since if the janitor requested a ban that means a moderator is now involved.
Bernie is so hilariously heavily photoshopped on the poster/cover art for Lazer Team. Barely even looks like him.
Saw that there was a Tugg screening near me so I went and saw it, didn't kick in on the indiegogo or anything. It was funny enough, definitely felt like a cheaply made web movie that snuck its way into a theatre but it has a ghostbustery camp to it and was a fun evening all in all.
Childish, and only going to get us more hated
>Giving RT money for a shit movie
Jesus anon why?
>Live near one of the largest cities in America
>Australia gets a screening before I do
>Barely even looks like him.
They shot the movie while he was still /fit/ but instead of throwing his food up into a trashcan during scenes where he had to eat a lot of food, he just..ate it.
So he put the pounds back on rather quickly which is what you see now.
this really ain't helping the case
I've seen the movie. He doesn't look even remotely like the poster art in it either. It's so hilariously heavily photoshopped, the entire head shape and features are all altered.
Capped, just to be sure.
fuck it, if I wanted to be mature, I would go to the library and masturbate there
I actually am waiting to see what the next new outfits will look like. Given that I'm pretty sure Monty designed all the current outfits before he died, I'm wondering how well whoever has the job now will do.
I think it's an attempt to make him look younger and more fit. Burnie's in his 40s and has a straight up dad bod.
For sure, but I think there's still mileage in this outfit. I reckon they should probably give them all 4-5 outfits eventually and swap them around day to day. A bunch of teenage girls just wearing one outfit every day doesn't really make sense beyond budget constraints.
>"no, I'm not gonna give you a reason, just accept it"
>"What, you're saying that I don't have a reason and am just a fucktard? NUH-UH, SHUT UP, I TOTALLY HAVE A LEGITIMATE REASON FOR THIS, I JUST DON'T WANNA TELL YOU RIGHT NOW"
Ah, good to know. I'm probably just mixed up, I seem to recall Monty saying he designed outfits with an eye to practicality so cosplayers could make and wear them.
Yeah, I'm certainly all for more variety there, at least in casual wear. You can make an argument that their main clothes might actually have some unseen tech built in that makes them more useful in a fight, and thus they'd always be worn for combat. For all we know Combat Skirts might not actually be a joke in Remnant.
Yeah, I think their iconic original outfits should be the ones they wear when shit gets serious. Just more varied stuff on the fringes of the show, it's a lot of effort to put on a corset every damn day.
Certainly not that thing you posted, Oct
Those 4 people have not given a reason. Those 4 people have said "it's off-topic".
That's not a reason, that just shifting the problem.
"it's off-topic" is not a reason, because it immediately requires you to legitimately define what is and isn't off-topic, which you haven't done, and also clearly can't do.
I don't see problem of both versions being cannon. We don't know what they were doing most of the time in vol 1 (lot of timeskips ) so rube could have as well have fought Cardin.
I see the manga as a addition of missing character development and backstory (cause M&K are hacks).
>"it's off-topic" is not a reason, because it immediately requires you to legitimately define what is and isn't off-topic
I don't need to define it. All you need to know is people are reporting you and janitors/mods are deleting it under Global Rule 3.
Saying "it's off-topic" is a reason because that's literally what things are being deleted under.
>Because your aura doesn't cover the wang and balls
>The thing that's only there for your protection doesn't cover your most vulnerable spot
>i'll stop when it makes logical sense
>"or you could just be a bitch and accept it"
So are you saying it DOES make logical sense? Is that why you should accept it? Cause i'm not really seeing any logic.
Eh, Gambol Shroud is a shitty weapon and Blake is a shitty fighter. Who cares?
I like that in episode 10 Weiss takes down like 30 Atlesian Knights and 20 White Fang members without getting hit in the time it took Blake to defeat like 5 and then get smacked in the face. Blake would have gotten her shit slapped by Torchwick too if Weiss didn't randomly give her super dust ammo.
Blake is hilariously weak compared to the rest of team RWBY.
Yes, you should accept it because janitors decide how to interpret rules and they have always been deleted when reported. It's a major rule of 4chan and you can't change that.
Except it fucking happened on /sug/, you idiot. Hardly anyone else on 4chan even make legit fanfiction.
>Saying "it's off-topic" is a reason because that's literally what things are being deleted under.
>Greentexts telling stories about the topic
Well what I meant was that combat modified skirts could be as good as anything else combat modified, not necessarily better. Perhaps all pieces of clothing can be modified for greater combat utility. In that case, it basically comes down to personal fashion choice, and kilts are definitely rarer as a fashion choice.
So far at least, not mods. In fact, judging by the fact that I'm still posting, either the ban process takes longer than the 15 minute posting block, or the moderators disagree with the janitor, which would be nice.
At least he bothered to write something.
I feel the same way. It's obviously not like a major studio production, but it's good enough.
I had hope and wanted something signed in case one of them had a groundbreaking performance that made them the next Chris Pratt or something. Obviously two years, the clusterfuck backer release and this bullshit later, I know I made a mistake.
Apparently. I was thinking about uploading it tomorrow when I'm at school, but we're supposed to get 4-10 inches of snow, so I'm not sticking around after class.
College classes, that is. I can legally drink.
>Yes, you should accept it because janitors decide how to interpret rules and they have always been deleted when reported. It's a major rule of 4chan and you can't change that.
Again, you are not saying the words "It does make logical sense"
Meaning that it doesn't make logical sense and Should NOT be ignored and accepted.
Duh, Team RWBY follows RPG classes.
Yang is tank
Ruby is DPS
Weiss is mage/support
Blake is a rogue
Her job is to absolutely murder single targets with surprise.
Killing groups of people isn't what she's good at. Infiltration is shit is why they keep the
I don't know everything that is and isn't considered off topic, just fanfiction.
>So far at least, not mods. In fact, judging by the fact that I'm still posting, either the ban process takes longer than the 15 minute posting block
That's not how bans work and you know it, kinkanon. You are not warned/blocked and then banned during that block. You get blocked and then banned if you continue. You're just too afraid to get proven wrong, so you decided to stop writefagging for now.
>I don't need to define it
Yes you fucking do you moron.
If there's a rule that uses a certain concept in the wording, then that concept needs to be clearly defined. If it isn't then the rule is useless.
If you don't even need to define it, then you could argue that anything is off-topic and should be banned.
I could argue that you're off-topic and should be banned.
It wouldn't be wrong according to you since off-topic doesn't need to be defined either.
Hell, why would we even need rules then? They're clearly useless since they don't have to be defined.
>your soul doesn't have a wang
>Implying the penis isn't a man's soul
>or post on /trash/ jesus christ
Let me get this straight.
The stories violate global rule 3 according to Report Anon.
Global rules apply to ALL boards.
And the solution...is to post them to another board...which would still mean violating the global rule because again, that applies to all boards.
is that about right?
>If you don't even need to define it, then you could argue that anything is off-topic and should be banned.
Sure, anyone can, but it most likely won't result in blocks/deletion like fanfiction does. I personally don't know what janitors define as off topic, all I know is you idiots just keep going despite the janitors responding to reports with deletion.
So you can't fucking define off-topic, which means that you're fucking wrong when you call this off-topic.
And define fanfiction then, where lies the border between fanfcition and greentext? Because greentext is fiction made by fucking fans, seems pretty clear to me.
>Zwei is the AoE damage
>Wombo combo with Weiss' crowd control
/trash/, /b/, and /r9k/ aren't affected by global rule 3, newfag.
I know fanfiction is off topic because I know janitors delete it. It's not hard to understand.
Blake hasn't really done much rogueing though. Yang is the better 1v1 single target eliminator. Ruby is faster and more agile. Weiss and Yang are better at gathering information. Ruby has had more success sneaking and infiltrating.
Blake is only good at angsting out and forcing the rest of her team to deal with her emotional imbalances while taking out her problems on them.
So there, argument finished.
All you have to say is "take it up with the mods", and you actively admitted that you don't have any valid argument by way of not being able to define any of the shit you're parroting.
You say that we're shitting up the threads, but you have no arguments but are still partaking in a discussion.
That's fucking shitposting mate, you violated global rule 6, leave forever.
don't forget he already admitted to breaking the rules.
But not a ban.
If a janitor keeps deleting something by one IP, then wouldn't they recommend a ban for that IP to a mod, who would then warn and then ban?
And considering this last little autism fit hasn't resulted in bans, but only deletions, wouldn't it mean that they think they can take care of it without mod intervention?
Or that what there doing, when sent to a mod, might be questioned by the mod?
>it's off-topic because they delete it
Then why is this not the case in every general?
Global rules apply to all boards right?
Yet fanfiction and greentext get posted a lot on many boards.
/mlp/ falls under the global rules too, yet that shithole has fanfiction coming out of its ass.
Not to mention that "it's off-topic because it gets deleted" isn't even an argument, since people can be fucking wrong. If that was true then all bans would be justified, and we all know that that's not the case.
>This block lasts 15 minutes from the time a janitor submits a ban request, and is removed immediately if the request is denied by a moderator. If the request is approved, a regular ban is applied.
I'm pretty sure the moderators are supposed to apply the written procedures anon. Unless I am going to be banned and they're just slow, they apparently do not think that greentext is bannable.
>they apparently do not think that greentext is bannable.
Except when they do.
>You will not post any of the following outside of /b/: Trolls, flames, racism, off-topic replies, uncalled for catchphrases, macro image replies, indecipherable text (example: "lol u tk him 2da bar|?"), anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images, post number GETs ("dubs"), or loli/shota pornography.
>outside of /b/
Funny. I don't see /trash/ or /r9k/ in the exceptions.
Or is that "Up for interpretation"?
Anyone have a download link to chapters 1 and 3 of the manga? I already have chapter 2 from imgur.
>"you're ruining the thread'
This shit goes both ways, if you 4 faggots would just learn how to filter or use a scroll-wheel these discussions would never happen.
So from a much more valid viewpoint, you're shitting up the threads.
And way to miss the point fuckboy, this shit won't stop until you retards realize that you have no fucking arguments supporting your case and stop this bullshit.
>you're trying too hard
Great way to show that you're actually just a petty little manchild.
Simple, they aren't reported. /sug/ has had deleted fanfiction.
There have been bans.
I'm confused how this works. The way it worked for me in other threads was I was given a warning, then block, then ban if I continued. Try posting more fanfiction, I need to experiment.
Read the fucking /trash/ sticky, idiot. These are the morons leading a crusade against rules?
>I know fan fiction is off topic because I know janitors delete it.
>but an entire thread dedicated to writing fan fiction is allowed on the board
>when fan fiction violates a global rule
So fan fiction is NOT off topic, or there would not be a thread dedicated to writing them. Meaning writing them in a thread related to the material is not off topic.
try again. Dr. Jan Itor.
>if you 4 faggots would just learn how to filter or use a scroll-wheel these discussions would never happen
And if you would just post in the pastebin or /trash/ this would never have happened.
Rule 1 of /co/, dumbdumb.
In the strictest sense, Blake's role is scout/skirmish. She has light ranged and close weapons, so she doesn't hit like a ton of bricks, but her semblance makes her very well equipped to engage enemies to probe them or distract them. The ribbon form on Gambol Shroud adds agility to both Blake and her team. When buffed by Support, Blake has a lot more offensive power, and her semblance really meshes with Dust for a lot of versatility.
Blake is jack of all trades, master of none. Compare to Weiss, who is just caster supremacy until she gets killed by a level one housecat (or whatever type of Faunus Banesaw is)
You keep bringing up 1 other example, yet there are a plethora of examples that go against the shit you're saying.
That means that the janitors and mods are fucking up. Do you actually think that mods and janitors never spot greentext unless it's in /sug/ or /RWBYg/?
No motherfucker, the things that's going on here is that /RWBYg/ and /sug/ have pissy little shitheads like you, and the rest does not.
>And if you would just post in the pastebin or /trash/ this would never have happened.
IF YOU WOULD JUST NOT CAUSE A SHITSTORM AND LEAVE PEOPLE TO DO WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN FOR 2 AND A HALF YEARS THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED YOU BELLEND.
>These are the morons leading a crusade against rules?
You've already admitted that you aren't following the rules and don't even know what qualifies as breaking the rules and what doesn't, so stop regurgitating your own shit please.
Blake has snuck into a WF rally, escaped said rally, hid her previous allegiances for months, infiltrated another White Fang operation and could have killed Torchwick if she wanted, "infiltrated" beacon, and took out Roman in two moves after support did what she was supposed to do and support.
That's a pretty good record for the rogue character.
>Yang is the better 1v1er
Yang spent quite a bit of time fighting Junior in her own trailer and lost to Neo, who is a zoner/mezzer. Yang is good for AoE and burst damage and while Ruby does have speed, it's used for engaging and disengaging targets. She's a chaser good for close target burst damage
>Weiss gathering information
The only time she gathered intel was when she phoned home and asked for classified files because she has a fuckton of status.
The one time she tried she got caught by the WF, and probably would have gotten gangbanged and executed in a show rated higher than this one.
Simple, I skipped the warning phase, a janitor submitted a ban request, that activated a post block that expires after 15 minutes, and now a moderator has to decide if what I posted was ban worthy. They're either taking a while or decided that it was not.
>mods don't enforce small rules like that unless it bothers people
You don't say?
But anon, I'm not the reporter.
>WAAAAAAH STOP IT
I'm not actively telling mods and janitors their rules are wrong.
What the hell is going on? Someone update me on the sitch please, the reply chains are too massive.
>And if you would just post in the pastebin or /trash/ this would never have happened.
So I say that your shitty "you're shitting up the threads" argument can be turned around effortlessly, and then you turn it around for the third time.
Nice way to prove my point and shoot yourself in the foot, smart guy.
>>WAAAAAAH STOP IT
>Implying this isn't exactly what you've been saying about greentext
>Being this dumb and not even realising it
>I'm not actively telling mods and janitors their rules are wrong.
No, but you are "for the rules" and you can't even define them, so shut the fuck up.
Also, "their rules"?
That's the entire problem, mods and janitors have their own interpretation of the rules, while that should be impossible. Rules should be clear cut so that the mods don't even have to think to see if something qualifies.
But they're just doing whatever the fuck they want. And you're advocating it you fucking cuck.
I never understood why we don't use the pastebin or postgenerator anymore.
I guess it's cause when you use those, that's the only time you realize how short what you're writing is and that it's not worth it.
> Rules should be clear cut so that the mods don't even have to think to see if something qualifies.
This isn't the fucking law, it's a website. We literally have a rule that basically says "I can delete it if I want to"
Glad everyone posted Ruby since she is best girl.
>People discussing fanfiction and writing is fanfiction.
>discussing fan fiction is writing
>we're discussing if fan fiction is off topic
>we're disscussing fan fiction
By YOUR logic, we have created a fanfiction.
>writing is fanfiction
>image board where the way to participate is to show what you have to say/have done.
Writing on 4chan is the exact same thing as posting you fucktard, not to mention that posting it inspires discussion.
I thought this was uncontested? Of course she's best girl
And we were fine and peacful, not messing with any other threads until the stories got reported and deleted.
So we did not start this argument.
Report Anon and RWBY hating Janitor did.
Okay RWBYg, think of a video game protagonist.
They now rescue Jaune and Pyrrha from Cinder instead of Ruby, how does it go?
Also that artist draws the softest Ruby.
Did I say I wasn't? The actual problem stems from people complaining about greentexts because you don't actually change anything.
Rules is rules. They've always been enforced when reported. All you've done is whine about how this rule shouldn't apply to you.
If you were blocked then banned, then the difference is that the mods did think whatever you posted broke the rules. I'm actually eating now, so I'm not going to write anything new, but here.
These posts are the real cancer killing RWBY
>Hey guys the last blah blah
>Think of a blah blah
It's basically just asking people to blog. It never leads to any discussion, just people jerking off their own idea which everyone else ignores in favor of their own.
?What are "janitors"?
"Janitors" are a class between "end user" and "moderator." They are given access to the report system and may delete posts on their assigned board(s), as well as submit ban requests. Janitors are selected via an application, orientation, and testing process. Janitors are instructed to not reveal their position to others and are to conduct themselves as would be expected of any other user. A breach in confidentiality is grounds for immediate expulsion from the program.
>have access to the report system
>can delete posts
>Can't ban BUT can submit a ban
So mods have nothing to do with what's going on.
It's a reporter, and a janitor.
This has NOTHING to do with the rules.
It's simply a Janitor who, as they're ignoring the dozens of other threads to focus on ours, enjoys causing shit in the RWBY thread.
Not really. normally they assign janitors for specific threads. This is most seen in /vg/.
Of course you're going to have a personal janitor for a cancerous general like this. I'm guessing the one assigned here is just a pissy one.
>whine about how this rule doesn't apply to you
Because it fucking doesn't you retard, you can't discount an argument by just calling it whining.
There's a janitor who doesn't understand the rules and agrees with your shitty rationalizing, and that's why shit gets deleted.
The rules don't fucking apply, otherwise greentext wouldn't be a thing. You're whining about how the rules should apply, and now you're acting high and mighty because you've got a basement dweller retard janitor on your side.
I feel like this is a more apt metaphor.
Ruby is RWBYg. And we (the majority of us anyway) are WBY
>So this is fanfiction too.
>Never said it wasn't
>Calm your tits and try to bother reading the context.
>You're not even trying anymore
Which is it?
Is discussing fan fiction, fan fiction, or is it not?
Ah, you don't understand the rules, and you don't understand the word "whining" either, terrific.
Not to mention that you have absolutely no right to talk about whining either, looking at what you've been doing for the past year.
Look at the fucking strawpoll retard.
You're acting like a huge amount of people is against greentext, but it's just a few people.
In other words, a fucking boogeyman.
And it wouldn't surprise me if you had voted multiple times to not seem like a huge retard.
It's been proven that you're pretty much on your own, yet you're denying it.
Given the SU hiatus of indeterminable length, I picked up this show. And seeing this thread, I've got to ask: Are these threads always like this? You guys had a new episode like two days ago and you're arguing about your right to post fanfiction.
/sug/ was never this bad, and it had three times as many posters.
No not really.
Usually we get some arguments over how things go here but they usually go away.
Still one of the most autistic generals on 4chan though if you ask me.
>you're ruining the thread.
>no you're ruining the thread
>no you're ruining the thread
>no you're ruining the thread
>no you're ruining the thread
>no you're ruining the thread
>no you're ruining the thread
It's usually better, you just picked the worst time to arrive here.
I think there's a magic number of people in a thread that allows it to hit critical mass. SUG passed critical mass and the faggotry got drowned out by conversation. We're just hitting critical faggot mass and everyones anuses are imploding.
