/sveg/ - Star Vs Evil General Weekend Thread - Goodbye January edition
Previous Edition: >>79447423
Fanart Archive (NSFW):
Come and join us for some TF2! Server IP is located in the Steam group
I am okay with our new Jarco overlords!
Everyone is getting there time to shine, Jarco's time is now.
Christ, we're going to blow through all the Jarco fan art at this rate, as sad as that is.
I wanna nut in her ass, even if the mods make me censor it.
Okay, these were all amazing responses to the night wear question.
Janna tries to eat him
Jackie says "whoah, thats rad"
Mr. Diaz tries to pet and coo his son
Alfonzo and Ferguson pledge to adopt tiny Marco
The question just seems so cute in the context of the show, considering Star and Marco's jam jams are precious. Imagine if we did see the other characters in a sleep over situation, the cute'o'meter would go through the roof.
So wait is she just insane or actual magic-knowing gypsy?
>tfw you want marco to score just because of that low blow from jeremy in banajic
I have a new short manna NSFW story.
I didn't proofread this so if there are glaring errors please inform me. Also if there is shitty grammar insult me a lot. It passed too much time since the last time I wrote something.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Hmm, that is so long legs.
Oh Ms Star, a fanfiction.
Marco is in the kitchen, wearing an apron and making some nachos when suddenly Star walks into the house.
>"Marco! I am home and also my skirt is flowing?"
Marco puts a hand to his head and swoons
>"Oh Ms Star, take me now!"
"Yes, and I will use my wand!"
Meanwhile within a 20 mile radius of the event
"Ohh Ms Star!" Alfonso, Ferguson and Janna all with goofy faces at the idea of romance going on as Jackie texts on her cellphone
"GRAB THE WAND YOU MORONS!" Ludo being frustrated as his monsters are all gushing and awwing at the love of the two characters.
It was amazing
Oh Mr Diaz, a sequel
Star is in the kitchen, wearing spiked battle armor and attacking a pot with magic when suddenly Marco walks into the house.
>"Star! I am home and also my shirt is open?"
Star puts a hand to her hand and swoons
>"Oh Mr. Diaz, take me now!"
>"Yes, and I will keep my green belt on."
Meanwhile within a 20 mile radius of the event.
"Ohh Mr Diaz!" Alfonso, Ferguson high five each other at their bro getting some, while Jackie continues to text.
"WHY HAVEN'T YOU GRABBED THE WANDS YOU MORONS?" Ludo says still being frustrated as his monsters are all gushing and awwing at the love of the two characters while not noticing Janna next to him looking in the house window with hatred in her eyes.
It was amazing.
Janna... the mysterious wanking phantom of the nightis all I could think of after reading that.
Nice little lewd story that, you've got a talent for expressive descriptions for sure, good stuff.
>"Yes, and I will keep my green belt on."
Oh anon, my sides are yours for the taking.
Hell yes, anon. I think the art style of Star vs. really lends itself well to edits like that or the ones Don Chile does. That Marco one is fantastic, having seen the image it comes from.
This past week I was busy with a personal project, but maybe this upcoming week I'll have time and share some more.
Oh noes, the Blar&Blarco-verse is expanding into the Normal-verse... we actually need more like this. You did done good, son.
Oh, man. This looks amazing. Great work as usual!
I wish I could play with my Demopan, but due to my third-world-ness I would be playing in a different timeline, with alternate events and different versions of your characters, beyond the limits of lag...
When I see pictures like this, I think that if Starco wasn't cute and perfect, I would probably be a Jarco fag...
BUT ALAS, STARCO IS CUTE AND PERFECT!!
>but maybe this upcoming week I'll have time and share some more.
Ah that's what I like to hear, Don. Your edits are always great, simple or complex.
And hey, they aint no limit on what ships you can like. Just root for both teams like I do, then when there's cute Jarco, Manna or Starco are you're always a winner.
>They laughed together.
>A precious sound made by the innocence of children.
>They laughed, giggled, and yelled as children were bound to do.
>Skipping, running, and jumping. They did it all.
>chasing each other around the playground in amusement.
>Playing games of simple imagination, the only limit being their own thoughts.
>When they tired, they sat together while hugging. Falling into a sleep filled with pleasant dreams.
>The days they spent together were some of the happiest days the girl knew.
>On one particular sunny day, the girl sat under a shady tree, relaxing from a recent game of tag.
>The brim of the over sized beanie she constantly wore on her head hung over her eyes.
>Next to her was the young boy that had given her the beanie.
>A boy with a mole under his eye, who wore a red hoodie with the words- "Karate Master!"
>The boy stood against the tree, scratching it's bark with a sharp rock.
>The girl looked up to watch the boy finish his work. Asking him what it was he was doing.
>He explained to her that his daddy had once shown him a trick that helped a boy and a girl to remember each other.
>He said that as long these symbols remained on the bark of this tree, then he'd always remember the fun times he had with her.
>The girl thought about this for awhile, a scared look on her face.
>She asked the boy if there was ever a chance he'd forget about her.
>The boy simply smiled. Telling her that there was no way he'd ever forget her.
>Even if these symbols he just made were to go away.
>She held out her fist and extended her pinkie. Asking him to promise.
>He simply gave her a warm childish smile and gripped her pinkie with is own.
>Sealing the promise.
All I've seen is a pic of him making out with Jackie, and another pic of both Star and Brittany sucking his dick while Star's wand is shoved up his butt.
In other words, not nearly as much as there should be. He'd be good for /ss/ action.
Don't you dare to use Lady Nefcy's words against her. She said "Ludo", not Star. If you wanna taint her reputation... do it with a shitty edit. I posted some exploitables a while ago.
Thanks, buddy. I've got extremely bad luck these past week-ends since I've missed most of the fun or I haven't able to provide content. But the people around here keeps the place running, I guess I'll have to read all of these greens during the week.
The problem is that sometimes I don't find a suitable subject, topic or decent picture to edit. But I'll find some, eventually.
Yeah, although I'm starco trash I also enjoy other ship's fanarts and greens. The show is so well-spirited that it shows in this general's lack of conflict.
If there are drawfriends about could I suggest Marco and Star posing as Joseph and Caesar? Their hair and color schemes just line up so well.
so, here's what to expect next week when I post chapter 10
>Marco accidentally hurting Star's feelings by distancing himself from her after finding out that Charlie betrayed him
>Hongo revealing to Marco that he is Kamen Rider Ichigo
>A A-Rank Hero appearing.
>An unexpected return
It hurts Harem, don't do this to me
it's a good pain, take us on home.
Yeah I can imagine inspiration for such things can be rather fleeting. Still, anons in the threads can always offer potential muses.
Just keep your head down and try to avoid the chicks with dicks
you can't actually avoid the dick-chicks, such is the fate of one venturing there.
>Janna watch as Marco tried to pry away Star from the playground.
>He urged Star to be careful as she climbed the jungle gym childishly.
>She laughed and laughed, looking for all the world like she was having the time of her life.
>Even Marco looked like he was enjoying his time with Star, despite trying to stop her.
>They both looked like they were just the happiest around each other.
>Janna felt an aching in her chest.
>She placed her hand on the tree she sat under to steady herself.
>Unintentionally, her fingers brushed against the symbols carved into the bark.
>A crude carving of an "M + J".
Cliche I know, but I felt it was fitting to the remembrance theme.
Ah man, it's a shame it has to end on a sad note but hey such is life. Great little continuation from the prompt in yesterdays threads. It seems a lot of anons like the potential idea that Marco and Janna have known each other for some time.
In all honesty it's one of the features of Janna I wouldn't mind debunking in season 2, I quite like the idea of Janna just taking a fancy to Marco, coming into adolescence. That way it works from both a romantic and formal development base going forward. As long as she's got that oddness about her, then I'm sure the thread and the fans will love her.
This is a girl who was willing to shake her butt in front of a crowd while confined to a wheelchair, and she did it with a smile.
The true depths of Sabrina's lewdness have yet to be explored.
Actually now that I think about it, both Joseph and Marco wore pink dresses to sneak into a place and rescue someone. With varying degrees of success.
I'm probably out for the night, stay beautiful everyone.
Have I ever explained how much I love this picture of young Janna?
Thank you, I see what you mean as well. Janna really is filled with possibility.
Shh... No tears. Only dreams of Manna now.
Gotta be a cheerleading episode at some point, as I've said in past threads, Star is built for that whole thing so she'll likely take an interest in it at some point.
I'm taken by anything that draw anon puts out, which is why I look forward to him/her going back to normal character prompts, the ones he's done of those have been golden. That and the scenes from the show, pic related on that front which is one of my all time favourites.
Peace out, Zehn
Better break out the glue and rev up those defibrillators then anon.
Quite a few all things considered, especially this weekend, we've been rather spoiled.
Dude, just have a go. If nothing else these threads should help creative anons like yourself develop talent. Just use some of the other great creative anon's works for reference to get you started.
Don't give up! What is love, but not a form of JUSTICE straight from the heart?
Lewds can be romantic.
>it can't be a coincidence
G'nite bro, have a good week!
Be patient, you'll find the romance somehow. I can relate to your issue though, because it seems I can write humour, but no romance as well...
It's too late, the damage was done long ago.
Actually this needs to happen. I wanted to make a shitty edit a while ago, but I can't edit Caesar into a girl's body... his build is just too manly.
My dear Amarillo, it's bound to happen, might as well just get it over with
Well, goodnight /sveg/. I'll see you all next Friday. Nobody better do anything
hands-holdeywhile I'm gone...
I warn you, this'll probably stink
>Marco Diaz woke up on Valentine's day feeling a deep sense of dread
>Despite this feeling things went rather well until he got to school.
>as the Rider opened his locker a swell of Valentines and chocolates fell directly onto him
>"Marco! are you still alive" Star called to her buried friend
>A muffled "Yes, I'm still alive" came from under the pile of confections and construction paper.
>After Star helped him dig his way out she gave the mass of gifts a second look, "What's up with all this stuff anyways?" She asked curiously.
>"Well you see-" Marco began to explain only to find himself suddenly being dragged away by a determined looking Janna
>his attempts to ask Janna what she was doing were simply shushed until she'd dragged him to the School Paper's Room.
>making sure they weren't followed, Janna surprised Marco by pulling out a really well made Valentine and holding it out to him, a small blush spreading across her face.
>"Will you be my Valentine?" she asked shyly.
But what would you do if even Nefcy
encouraged a lewd Sabrina?
I'm still hoping for magical clothing of some kind to act as somewhat of a poweup. Or instead of an offensive powerup as such, more of a defensive one. Perhaps it could ward of magic or physical blows, given that Star has the ability to both dodge attacks like that and use her wand to conjure up some defense. Whilst Marco can only really dodge or tank it and there's a limit to what is feasibly tankable for a human.
Really it'd be a nice potential feature of an episode, have the two of them go for a magical adventure and come away with some physical reward for their troubles that allows them to do bigger and bolder things going forward.
There could be a message in there about the importance of balancing effort and equipment to achieve ones goals.
See, nothing to worry about when you're giving it a go. For a green it's good so far, such is the joy in short snippet stories.
Fuck if I know but my plan for it in the lewd fic I'm working on is it that with the wand charger fueling it, it can suck more than it should be able to hold and can even suck metaphysical concepts.
>"I was going to ask J-" Marco tried to say, only for Janna to silence him by placing her finger over his lips
>"Listen, I know you like Jackie" She said as she leaned closer to him "But I've liked you for a really long time" she whispered in his ear, sending shivers down his spine.
>Before Marco could reply the door flew open, Hope standing in the light that was seeping into the room from the hall.
>Quick as lightning, she snatched his hand and was off like a shot, Dragging him behind her.
>"Hope?" Marco inquired
>"Yes Marco?" She replied
>"where're you taking me?" he asked
>"Right here!" she said as she shot into a dark classroom.
>the room was so Dark in fact that Marco couldn't see his hand in front of his own face.
>Fumbling for a light switch, Marco was almost blinded by the flash of bright Pink that was the massive Valentine covering the classroom wall directly in front of him.
>"Tada!" Hope cheered, gesturing towards the writing painted on it
>"Will you be my Valentine, Marco?" it read
Well we do know Nefcy is mature enough to know a little bit of lewness is okay and she having drawn lewd stuff in the past.
So in the hypothetical case Nefcy is okay with it so would I be.
Hypothetically speaking of course!
Much appreciated amigos
>Despite their best efforts, Hope and Leah could not resist staring at Janna's horrifying birth defect. Never before have they seen such freakishly huge and deformed hands on a young lady before. It was a truly terrifying sight that was forever seared into their minds.
Not a lot for a story there. The cheerleaders try to pull off a routine during a basketball game, they mess up, and Sabrina ends up on the ground mooning the home-side bleachers.
Now the follow-up with Sabrina awakening to a thrill for humiliation/public exposure; that's a story...
Jackie's effectively a walking lewd, that girl is so damn stacked in every department I swear.
Shame I can't keep my eyes open any longer, too damn late in Britbong land to be up any longer. Till today/tomorrow thread, don't have too much fun.
You had ONE JOB!!
That's surprisingly in character and awesomely drawn, that's all I have to say about it.
>Sabrina knows she's done for, and that everyone will make fun of her stupid clumsiness
>Just like a lightning, she feels someone covers her bottom before she gets exposed
>It's Marco who used his hoodie to prevent her humiliation
Someone more talented write a green about this. It has Sabco, it has lewd and it comedic potential. It would satisfy everyone.
Anyone got any ideas I can try to write over the week? I've never written anything serious, but I'm willing to try because you guys are my favorite people. Please no lewds, I don't into sexuals.
One anon came up with the idea that she's rather innocent or naive given her rather youthful outfit and hair style; but somehow finds herself in situations that test that naivety, likely due in part to her seeming friendship with Janna.
Well don't force yourself anon if you're unsure. But it really depends on what kind of story you're happy to write.
Yeah it works for a character typing we haven't seen in the show yet. Though you could argue Sabrina could fill that role on top of her accident proneness and anxiousness.
But I imagine that at the age range a lot of girls are being thrust into the realisation that a lot of the taboo subjects from their bringing up are actually common place. That kind of dynamic can have interesting results.
Either way, my bed calls out to me, till later, peace out.
>"But I though-" Marco tried to say
>"I thought a lot about you after you saved me" Hope admitted, "you've always been a good person, I just never noticed it" She was blushing as she got closer to him "and then you saved my life, my mother's life" She was uncomfortable close now, wrapping her arms around him and snuggling in closer "and I think that I really like you" she whispered into his chest.
>Marco's face went almost neon red, this was way too intimate!
>and then Janna kicked the door down to find Marco pinned to the wall with Hope snuggling into his chest.
>'oh no' was all Marco could think as Janna tackled Hope off of him, sending all three of them to the ground.
since when has /sveg/ been off the ban list? how long have i been gone?
Cute Lewds> Cutes > Lewds
T-That was just because Haich's art pieces carry a bit of IWNIHA anon's soul in them and sometimes it influences people!
It's a totally reasonable explanation!
We are only allowed on weekends so this likely will be the final thread until next friday.
We have had weekend threads pretty much since the hiatus started, at the start was simply enfored by us but overtime the mods also stepped in and delete any thread made during weekdays.
IMO it's for the best. keeping the threads to weekend only has both kept us reasonably sane and allows content creators to work in their deliveries during the weekdays.
Well that's a fair compromise!
>From an outsider's perspective the resultant scene was hilarious, Janna and Hope both trying to pry the other off Marco while also trying to keep a hold on him
>"HE'S MINE!" Janna roared
>"NEVER!" Hope replied
>"Girls stop!" Marco pleaded.
>and the commotion of the scuffle soon drew a crowd, who cheered at the sight of the two girls playing tug of war with Marco.
>Except for one Star Butterfly, who quickly made her thoughts know
>"Freezing Toad Blast!" She cried, shooting two icy toads that landed on Janna and Hope's heads, freezing them in place.
>"Now what's going on!?" Star asked incredulously as Marco disentangled himself from the now stone still girls
>"Both of them want me to be their Valentine" Marco explained as he readjusted his hoodie "Which means that they like me and want me to feel the same way."
>"So you want Jackie to be your Valentine?" Star asked innocently.
>"He does?" Jackie's voice inquired as she pushed her way through the crowd.
>Marco's heart dropped into his shoes.
STARCO IS CUTE AND PERFECT!
CUTE AND PERFECT!
>"Why didn't you just say so dude?" Jackie asked breezily
>"Bwuh?" was Marco's intelligent response
>"Did you think I'd say no?" She asked
>"Well I mean-" Marco tried to say before she cut him off.
>"You're one of the coolest people I know!" she said jovially as she sashayed up to him and gave him a peck on the cheek, causing his face to go neon red. "Let's go out sometime, okay?" she asked
>"uh-huh" was all the dumbstruck blushing Marco could say.
>"Sweet" she replied before walking off as the crowd started Cheering.
>The now unfrozen Hope and Janna fell to their knees, letting out tandem cries of "NOOOOOO!"
>but sadly for Marco and luckily for the girls, this story isn't canon, meaning none of this really happened.
>"OH COME ON!" Marco cried out.
>"You know Marco if I hadn't come to earth I would have never learned of all these new weapons."
>"Yeah normally I would just use narwhals and swords and spears but now..."
>Star turns her wand into a 50.cal sniper with thermal scope that fires incendiary butterflies.
>"Ta-da just like your video game things"
>Shoot's off a fiery butterflyinto the distance
>The butterfly screams in agony as it zooms through the sky waiting to impact something
>"Star! You can't just go around firing guns, magic or not indiscriminately in any direction, were not in tijuana or the south people tend to frown upon that here"
>"Hope no one got hurt" Marco said staring at the direction that Star fired at.
>Far away Sabrina was in her room watching TV when she heard a tiny but blood curling scream. The butterfly bullet flew through her window, ricocheted off several objects before destroying her TV and causing an electrical fire.
>"Wow my fortune cookie was right"
>She reached into her pocket and pulled out a slip of paper that read:
>"An insect will burn down your house"
>The crowd was still laughing when Marco escorted Sabrina out of the gym.
>Brittney was yelling something after her for walking out in the middle of a game, but Marco wasn’t stopping.
>They passed the double doors out into the unlit hallway and turned the corner to put more distance between them and the commotion.
>Sabrina came to a halt and leaned against a locker, hugging herself. She glared down at the floor with her cheeks burning scarlet. “I left my stuff in the locker room,” she quietly said.
>Marco rubbed the back of his neck. “Do you want me to try and see if one of the girls would get it?”
>“It can wait ‘till halftime.” That was almost ten minutes away, and honestly, she didn’t want to wait that long, but she doubted Brittney would let any of them leave the floor.
>The hoodie tied around her waist still radiated Marco’s body heat.
>Her thighs pressed together as a cold draft made its way through the openings of the warmed cotton.
>She squirmed under the competing sensations, and became suddenly aware that Marco was staring at her.
>“Do you mind giving me some space?”
>Marco nodded and moved unsure of himself a bit further down the hall away from her.
>Listening to his stilted footsteps, images of her underwear laid out on the gymnasium floor on display for everyone to see came unbidden.
>Sabrina curled further into herself and tried to fight back a sob.
I just couldn't think of anything comedic, and throwing in lewd seemed like it would cheapen it.
>Her eyes lighting up whenever Marco did something in this episode
Great story and great ending, I'm glad you could make it even though you doubted. Thumbs up!
Good story, but Marco needs to keep Star away from some nastier weapons humanity's developed...
>"a butterfly will burn down your house" You missed the chance for a double meaning message that would involve Star directly...
We better see Star's wings again in season 2. I thought it was pretty cool that they showed them off at the end of Mewberty but was pretty disappointed they didn't return at all by the end of the season. Not even once!
This was fun Kamen! Just keep at it and you'll be writing more cute and lovely fics in no time.
Haha! It just never ends. Great green as always WriteFriend.
Still great Anon, I can just see it being stretched out into fuller story. Still you gave us something. Thanks.
I'd give it a shot but I'm not very good with lewd as many of you read in you really got me now.
Plus that and I don't want Amarillo stabbing me to death with a rusty meat cleaver.
I was disappointed too, but so far the only clothing she's worn that even slightly revealed her back was the ball gown, and that seemed like it'd just cover the wings. Even her bathing suit was old-fashioned.
I'm guessing in 2 there'll be a scene where her wings are shown for some reason and Marco will be like "oh right, I forgot those were there." Don't think that's too unlikely given that we've never seen the wings clearly NOT being there-- we just haven't seen her back, period.
if she seriously uses them to fly herself and marco out of danger in the next finale I will wreck shit though. that's just dumb.
Okay everyone. I've added my recent green, my longest yet, to my pastebin. Free of the word count, I was able to add a few more lines as I made improvements here and there.
So without further a do, please enjoy-
With that, it's time for ole'HaremBro to hit the sack. I doubt the thread will be up once I wake up so until next week everyone. It's been a blast as always.
That was great, KW! gotta love that ending, haha!
Sabrina just can't catch a break!
That was cute and a bit sad, well written, anon!
Why people have this violent image of me? do I come off as violent??
At worst I would give you a cold dehumanizing stare that would pierce the very core of your immortal soul. But never hurt you!
No not violent, but Sabrina obsessed. So naturally many of us fear for our lives when it comes to talking about Sabrina in certain ways.
But as always I'm just joking around.
Besides I'm pretty sure I could take you in a fight...I think...:3
>Besides I'm pretty sure I could take you in a fight
Considering I am so short and light and an average person can literally just pick me up and throw me like if I was a pillow, I say that's a fair assumption!
Also I am a total pacifist, I wouldn't hurt a fly!
if she seriously uses them to fly herself and marco out of danger in the next finale I will wreck shit though. that's just dumb.
That is exactly how it's gonna go down too I can already see it happening. It's gonna be cliche as fuck
but hopefully still adorable.
If thats he case i'll take that as permission to write the nastiest Sabrina lewd that will ever exist in the history of exitence.
But I'm just kidding....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................or am I?
I am not the grand master owner of Sabrina and supreme authority of what content can be done about her!
At least I hope I'm not, oh god I'm not right!?
Artistic liberty all the way! all Sabrina content is good content! it doesnt have to appeal to me!
Yeah...around here you are the poster child for Sabrina obsession/authority. Even FV stopped being an edgelord long enough to draw a normal sabrina pic in your honor, thats how deep this rabbit hole goes.
Make of that what you will.
I'm surprised there was so little art of swimsuit Star. I guess that goofy old-timey outfit was a bit of a turnoff.
StarFan13has seemed underloved lately, I'd want to see some more lewds of her.
>no Pixie Empress
Sooo is this good shading? (i know its a bad in terms of how i did it but i mean is the shading positioned well? too much?)
Here's the version without the shading. Janna probably shouldnt have messed with Star's book btw :p
GET YOUR NEW CHAPTER HERE!
Let me know what you guys think of it!
The story concludes next week.
I'm open to suggestions regarding the final sex scene.
It will be a mutual initiation on both ends created in a heat of the moment situation. It's gonna be cliche and cheesy as fuck but i'm looking forward to it anyways.
>cant hold a relationship
>cant finish his show properly
>gave up, took his ball and went home because Disney demanded episodes on time
>blocks fans on twitter for the slightest provocation
>friendly, nice as fuck
>gets work done on time even as Disney cuts her funding/switches studios to give more money to Hackirsch
>isn't afraid to throw her fans some shipping bones
>doesn't try to be all "mysterious" where it doesn't even apply (like Wendy's mom whereabouts) and answers every question no matter how miniscule, like what the names of minor background characters are
>doesn't have her politicos in your face at every turn
>has never blocked a fan on twitter no matter how deserving
Good as always. The monopoly banter made me laugh. A lot.
Still strange to see the cast acting... well, like normal, if a little bit too sexpert, horny teenagers and not TV-Y7 characters, but that's the charm of the story.
I have no ideas for lewd, but I humbly suggest a "Marco the Safe Kid and the safe sex" bit. Or, even better, Star being the one to unexpectedly bring the subject up, much to Marco's proudness.
how about this instead
Oh well, it happens. It sure will get more lively later.
Unfortunately, I'm not feeling in a great mood right now (AGAIN), so I'm afraid I won't be able to contribute much to this thread.
Hopefully, I'll stop being useless by next weekend.
/sveg/ isn't about being USEFUL, it's to chill with the other anons for the weekend while mildly talking about the show..
And besides you already overdelivered this weekend! an awesome fanfic and excelent greens! you deserve a creative break. just relax and enjoy whatever the other anons feel like contributing!
Contributors have been really awesome! There's so much stuff for me to read, today…
/Sveg/ is really awesome: I can't believe now how afraid we all were that with the hiatus this general would've died down — while right now its popularity seems like on an upwards-trending trajectory, with newcomers, new contents producers, LOTS of quality content, and good will in general (heh).
I would love to be able to shake everyone's hand.
I'd go so far as to say that she is the cutest of the bunch.
Jeeze, that's such a Star thing to do I wouldn't be surprised if something similar happens in the actual series. Great stuff so far, Kamen you have a firm grip of the flow of a short story.
Now you've got simple things to develop from there going forward, such as weaving in more descriptive/emotive writing; Folly's always a solid example to follow in that regard, on top of
his/her?fantastic grasp of Star and Marco's dynamic. story isn't canon, rip in pieces another chance at Jarco
I could see this one happening realistically, given the situation. Good stuff, anon.
Seriously that episode was rollercoaster ride of emotions live
Just imagine what we'll be like when they give us that trailer on the 15th
Close, but the number one spot is taken.
Yeah, last weekend was already remarkable in terms of original content our content creators delivered but this weekend everyone was on friggin fire delivering the entire weekend, it was very hard to catch up!
Also I would hug everyone here if I had the chance!
we are the hugbox general after all, yes, even FV.
I dont know the specifics but I remember that it more or less started because a particular anon always posted "STARCO IS CUTE AND PERFECT! CUTE AND PERFECT!" with a piece of Starco fan art, usually brand new one. I remember that anon complaining a few times when others "copied him/her" and did the same.
Eventually it seemed to become Starco's battle cry and mantra. I could be wrong with the details but is how I remember it.
Here is Marco and Star. Together they form a ship known as Starco, a portmanteau of their names. When the two are together they exhibit cute qualities and are quite perfect for each other. Needless to say, Starco is CUTE AND PERFECT.
You get it? Good.
>Folly's always a solid example to follow in that regard
Thanks for the consideration, Anon, but I guess sometimes it becomes mainly a subject of writing style: Kamen Writer goes for a very "compressed", fast style of writing (IMHO), very appropriate to action-oriented and quick stories.
On the other end of the spectrum, WriteFriend writing is very decompressed, and there's more space for details and mood description.
I'm kind of in the middle, sorta, with a personal inclination for the "late in, early out" setup of scenes, and an over-abundance of original creations.
I won't even pretend my stuff is for everyone, and I actually welcome such variety of writing styles, and content in general.
his/her? Here's a hint: "Folly-Cola" is a play on the word "follicle". Because I'm bald. And [marcodiaz]it's supposed to be ironic[/marcodiaz].
>can someone explain the whole "Cute and perfect" thing ?
Nobody can explain it. It just… IS.
But seriously: it's one of our memes/in-jokes, like "at least you're not Tom", "Marco pours Marco a glass of lemonade", etc.
I will honestly completely lose it if in season 2 the words "cute and perfect" at uttered by any character in any context.
The most insane thing is that I can totally see it happening for real, and I would not be able to recover from it!
Well I think there has to be a balance of both, relative to the strengths of the author of course. With your works you always deliver in three major ways, world building (descriptive), interactions between characters and the emotions involved
without just describing said emotions(emotive) and a solid plot which persists through the story your writing (basic structure). Those three elements in tandem are vital to a good story in any medium, and as such learning to write in such a way that does incorporate them all should be the goal of those with a talent for writing, in whatever form it takes.
Sure, your work isn't perfect but I don't think any written work is really. But at the least, in the context of fan works for the show, your stories always provide a good example. Especially for descriptive writing, given how much of the appeal of the show is in the visual style it has, descriptive writing is a must.
Right, bald lady it is then. Thanks for the clarification.
Acknowledgment of any of the jokes we come up with here, intended or not, would be amazing.
>They visit a dimension
>"cute and perfect" at uttered by any character in any context
That would be mind-blowingly amazing indeed! Any eventual nod to /sveg/ would make my day — nay, my month — nay, my CENTURY.
…And only the vague suspect that anybody in the production team of the show may have opened my PB page at some point, would make me die happy a happy bald woman. Too bad I've been already told that fucking IP laws prevent them to do it (or to admit it in any way).
Fuck IP, my stuff is public domain!
Maybe. I dunno.
I personally lose my shit if Sol becomes canon though.
To me, the series uses the term "dimension" improperly.
What the characters do is travel to different "universes", or at most, "planes of existence" — like in the "Time dimension".
I don't actually see the possibility of alternate reality, because otherwise, what happens if Stars from different realities open a portal to a specific place: do they BOTH get there, and meet?!
So it's less quantum mechanics, and more "let's go somewhere fun".
>episode of star and Marco jumping thru various dimensions in quick succession because they are searching for a specific one..
>in one of them for a brief second you can see far in the background 6 figures wearing different colored hoodies.
I would die!
Also I can TOTALLY see one of the dwellers of Tom's dimension going "at least you're not Tom" while talking to another, since we already were shown they love to diss on Tom.
I think there's elements of this show that just aren't meant to be put under the microscope. After all, if I'm not wrong, the original pitch for the series did NOT involve actual magic at all!
But yeah, if alternate realities existed in the show, and a dimensional scissor were sufficient to reach them, it would lead to utter chaos: different Stars And Marcos would cross paths all the time, they would end up in alternate Earths without even realizing it at first, there'd be several versions of the Ludo's army coming and going — some of them efficient and successful!
Oh man, what a roller coaster ride this story turned out to be. That chapter was fantastic Write Anon, I think a story that intergrates additional characters into the magical adventures of Marco and Star so genuinely are few and far between, but yours has definitely added another to the pile that does.
I also appreciated you description and outlining of the action scenes. Considering their solution to the crisis in front of them would only ever be the magic WMD that Star carries with her, it was interesting to see what limitations you would impose to ensure a threat still remained. I think your solution met the mark, especially considering
that the villain was limited in how he could approach the situation, given both his code of honor and the treaty not allowing him to harm the human shields in Marco and Jackie
That's some primo baby-armor for Star right there, wish that was used more in stories given it's potential risk/reward factors
The humor also sat well whilst I was reading, especially the intro and Mr. Monopoly Bald Asshole Guy. You also handled Ludo and his lot to great effect As for any suggestions, I suppose for the sotry as a whole it'd be great to see them discuss their whole setup, given how odd a 3 way relationship is likely to be. That can be done before or after the act itself, given the setup of choice for your lewd scenes; perhaps a spur of the victory type romp or a more meaningful relationship starting sexcapade.
Outside of that more story structure related suggestion. I'd say just focus on the exploratory nature for Jackie, both with Marco and with Star being a girl and all. Then for Star and Marco they've had experience with each other so it's building off of that, with the requited feelings now added in.
But take of that what you will, it's your story obviously and it's been amazing so far, so whatever you choose to write I'll be eagerly awaiting.
well, you could make it that star does something to the scissors that it takes them to an alternate earth and spend an episode there and figure things out by the end of the episode and get back to their reality
Malfunctioning/tampered scissors would be a quick and easy way to explain that kind of story, so there's hope for it.
Of course, one such episode would also be an implicit blessing to every AU and fan theory ever, and it would be incredibly cool!
There, we have an episode: the dimensional scissors start malfunction (maybe Star dropped them?), and instead of leading to different dimensions, they now only lead to different realities and Earths. Through shenanigans, one or more Ludos learn about this, and coalize/struggle to catch hold of (some) Wand(s).
Janna: An odd girl, with weird tastes in interests and hobbies. Likes to cause mischief.
Jackie: An incredibly chilled out, but not very bright girl. She's outgoing and has an adventurous streak, appreciates genuine actions as she's too chilled out to lie.
Hope: A sweet girl who sees the best in her peers, has some slight troubles at homes that she tries to avoid.
Sabrina: Accident prone, yet spirited in the face of it. A life fraught with daily perils and anxieties, she tries her best to go about pursuing what she likes in cheer leading, despite her unfortunate circumstances.
Brittney: Loud, over-demanding, confident and selfish. She's the rightful queen of the school, and she makes sure that situation stays that. Takes great pride in being the best at what she's good at, money will fill in the other spots that she's not interested in, such as studying and tests. However, in spite of her seemingly iron-clad personality, the vestiges of insecurity shine through when faced with a situation she can't initially control.
Starfan: The realistic form of Star, a more introverted girl with a penchant for all things cute and magical.
Chantelle: Your typical school girl in the upper echelons of school society, holds herself proudly but is intimidated by her more confident peers in the spirit comity, especially regarding her looks who she now believes are vital to her happiness at school.
Leah: A naive girl from a relatively sheltered upbringing, due to her sweet nature and genuineness she is a common friend or acquaintance of her peers. Due to this quiet popularity the girl is increasingly being made aware of those things kept from her in her youth.
Now the guys
Alfonso:Puberty has been a disjointed experience for the young man, his voice and height seemingly alien to him. Despite that a cheerful attitude and strong bond with close friends makes the guy well meaning in his actions and desire to try new things, but slightly insecure without the support of his friends.
Ferguson: Bold, confident and cheerful; despite his portly nature he is very open to undertaking opportunities presented to him, even in the face of great odds against him physically and socially standing. At times this confidence slips over into overconfidence, teamed with an immediate distaste when not allowed to indulge on a whim, even for a friend. However, willingness to put a smile on others faces keeps him in their good books, in spite of his attempts commonly falling flat.
Tom: Life's hard for a teenage demon, especially one used to getting whatever he wants when he wants it. In the wake of his girlfriends sudden exit, anger and insecurity have waged war to fill the gap left. A flawed character, dependent on others to keep his wild emotions in check; passion and ambition find their place in the young man, but due to his shortcomings they commonly fail to shine through as intended.
Oskar: An artistic soul, highly introverted but teamed with no shortcomings in having people interact with him, he just ignores them. This has resulted in problems at home due to changes deemed unwelcome, escape from this is found in self-reflection and music
no matter how terrible it may be.
And there we go, rather fun making up personalities based on the bare minimum of information.
Starco is 2cute4you, or YOU are 2cute?
Let's not test the mods patience. This thread treaspassed the limits of the week end, but it's been created when it was barely sunday evening in 'murica.
What if Britney tried to seduce Marco or one of his friends (it doesn't matter the reason, it could be simple vanity, wanting to spite Star or proving who is the alpha female to one of the cheerleaders that is crushing on one of them) but is turned down and this hurt her pride so much that she tries everything to get the boy even if she's not really interested in him? Extra points if she then developes genuine feelings.
I would love to follow the character throughout highschool, and see them grow: lots of possibilities for stories.
I could totally see this in a normal episode, with Brittney's arrogance and vanity getting a hard slap when she realizes she canNOT have everything she simply fancies.
I didn't realise how much I wanted this as a green till now.
You can't rush these things anon. The long wait is a pain in the ass though. A lot of people suspect that we'll get a S2 trailer during the Gravity Falls finale. Then again, plugging a fresher show in the middle of a more popular one would actually be a smart decision and we know Disney doesn't like those!
Try being a fan since the premier. Though with being a Disney cartoon, it seems that fans new and old, get to experience hiatuses with no equal.
Fair enough. Weren't they on a boat for 3 years or something?
>awkward but cool in his own way high school teen
he's gonna make it by default
It's crazy to think that there are people out there who don't like this sneaky rapscallion.
Hope wants her parents to stop fightning.
Janna wants some spookie adventures.
Leah wants to see the world burn.
what if there was an episode where Marco and Star were hypnotized to be lazy and fat as fuck?
>Nothing Brittney does is able to win Marco over.
>She falls back on her last tactic; pity.
>The only way Marco is able to get her to stop crying is by agreeing to go on a date with her.
>She makes plans to dump him publicly.
Then of course, the date goes well, Brittney forcibly declares Marco her property/boyfriend, and Marco desperately tries to find a way out.
she's scared at first but her expression does a complete 180 when she realizes who it is
I hope this love triangle spirals out of control and crashes all of us with no survivors
>Star befriends some slime girls
>They constantly want The Diaz
>One goes as far as to go inside The Diaz and become his cum
>Marco cums out a slime girl
alright lets go ahead then.
9 months have passed and star is about to give birth, how does she do it?
easy,by doing it in the back to push the baby forward(i only read one manga which had this, though it was incest themed and was in full colour from start to end)
We've been blessed with a leftover thread and this is how we use it? We can do better.
Or at least less worse.
its nice, six episodes long and not as dark as bible black while still having that artstyle.
although, there are ridiculous things like trying different sex positions while moving in a fighter jet's cockpit
oh yeah, and that sex wrestling match on top of that robot.
but forget that, the most ridiculous thing was when enters the dorm for the first time and see all the girls playing with themselves in the open
you know, once marco goes there,he would forget all about jackie
Janna: Mischievous, an oddball and proud of it.
Jackie: Mellow and kind of on the ditzy side.
Hope: Uses a presentable front to hide emotional turmoil beneath.
Sabrina: Outgoing and optimistic despite an unending streak of bad luck.
Brittney: Uses her privileged upbringing to keep her world secure.
Starfan13: Lack of self-confidence makes her admire and mirror Star.
Alfonso: Awkward and reliant on others to take charge.
Ferguson: Confident but without social self-awareness.
Tom: Lack of control over his life drives anger issues that he sincerely tries to reign in.
Oskar: Consumes himself in music, especially to deal with personal problems.
Chantelle: A social butterfly who defends her place in the school's hierarchy.
Leah: Chaste and a late bloomer when compared to her peers. Her friendship to Janna slowly strips away her naivety, not necessarily in a good way.
>Star & Marco save it for the wedding
>upon which she utterly snu-snu's him
Well what did you think about the original comics then?
My preference is with the show itself due to the freedom to discover and develop the more magical side of the world to a greater extent than the comics would allow; due to the need to tie it to the reflected reality of earth goings on.
Starco's pretty much confirmed, anon. Those who like the other ships are realistically just hoping for some cute moments before the inevitable Starco end.
The other big two have their charm factor, anon.
Manna has that puppy love draw to it, two young people discovering feelings in their own unique way.
Jarco has that appeal on a development front, in that Marco through Star's help grows as a person and gets to know Jackie over time. Gradually they come to like each others company and it goes from there.
yfw Daron goes for the Harem ending
>Marco gets ALL the girls
even the background ones
Requesting some girl from the show like this
also, a source if anyone can find it
I would literally streak naked if that actually happened. I'd go down in history as the anon that got way too excited over a cartoon.
Could you even imagine how the threads of /sveg/ would react?
The conclusion of the Tom 'Mewberty' story from last thread.
He then received a swat to the head with a rolled-up lifestyle magazine.
"But if I see you disturbing the spirit committee again, we're going to have a problem." She turned her back on him and sat back on her lounger, while the rest of the cheerleaders went back to practising.
'Wait, they're not affected by the pheromones?!' Tom couldn't believe it. Aside from a few sidelong glances, none of the girls were paying him any attention, not even Brittney, who was right in his face.
Suddenly, the doors burst open for a second time and Marco sprinted across the hall with Janna hot on his heels. The commotion startled Sabrina enough to stumble mid-run and faceplant onto a trampoline frame.
“Tom?! What are you doing here, run! Hurry-OOF!!” He gasps as Janna tackles him to the ground.
“marco, it's okay! I don't think the pheromones are working...” He took the deodorant can from his back pocket. ‘Niv*a For Men: Max Protection for up to 48 Hours!’
“Damn, they really aren’t kidding,” he muses.
“Then why's Janna acting so crazy?!”
“She smelled the pheromones before I put on the deodorant.”
“Pheromones? Deodorant?” Janna stopped her efforts of dragging Marco towards the storage closet. “Tom, please, I was crazy from the start!”
Tom didn’t know what to say to that so he just shrugged. Marco continued to wail as he was roughly thrown onto a crashmat and Janna slammed the door behind her.
“Ahem?” Brittney glared at Tom disapprovingly while the other spirit comittee members were clustered around Sabrina, who was nursing a split lip. He sighed. ‘Might as well rescue Marco,’ he thought to himself. ‘He wanted to save himself for Jackie, after all.’
Nefcy's tumblr. She has a bunch of slice of life comics about herself posted, as well as a collection of Star comics where she's a delusional little girl as opposed to a magical princess. They're pretty good, and her comics about herself are pretty cute.
Evening, mate. If you need some encouragement, your green's been on fire this week.
Was it a rust monster or a gazebo?
Not played Persona, myself, but Stick of Truth-style could be interesting. I don't see an officially licenced game being made any time soon though, and it'd likely be too ambitious for a fan game.
i especially like it when the girl finally says she loves you like here oh and spoiler if you wanna play the game and have not.
also chie seems alot like star, personality wise i mean.
anyway watch this
Hope this includes the monster girls as well.
No prob on Janna! It was a funny series of (non)greens, and she wasn't really the focus of it either, so development was neither easy to convey, nor actually essential.
I enjoyed it: as I said, I like the way Marco and Tom interact in this AU, and would love to read more.
Considering how much we exploded over pic related? The whole damn website would crash.
Oh and letmarcoscore
Man, your little story has opened my eyes to the possible bromance Tom and Marco could share. I really love friendships where each party brings the best out in the other, as opposed to being super close but terrible for each other. It's a real breath of fresh air, cartoon wise. Great to see your work again, Red.
Should practice a bit with her then, she's a versatile character depending on what you want her involvement in a story to be
until we get more concrete info on her in season 2. Man, being open when that sort of thing happens can be a god send. People will almost always want to understand or help, but if they're not sure what the deal is then everyone involved ends up feeling bad.
That and finding a meditative behaviour that helps,
for me in the past when my anxiety was much worse I also focused entirely on my breathing, sticking to a 3 in 4 out little routine. A minute or two of that and I was usually functional enough for rationality to return. Still, you do what works for you man, many people suffer in similar ways and it does get better with small routine changes.
Oh yeah, there'll be more next weekend for sure. Might keep drawing inspiration from the series (really looking forward to doing an alternative Blood Moon Ball), or maybe I'll do my own thing. It definitely won't be the same without Star's direct influence, but I'm enjoying the concept.
Cheers! Your green's been top-teir this weekend, HB.
Honestly, I'm surprised it works as well as it does. And here I thought everybody hated Tom. Might do some Janna down the line.
Perhaps a compromise could be had in terms of Star's presence. She could be semi-present or even the exchange student of someone else at the school?
I just enjoyed the setup of Tom and Marco and their little adventure, perhaps due to it's obviously more masculine tone. As good a job as Star vs. does in terms of showing a solid male/female best friendship, there's a natural smoothness to same sex interactions as friends.
>And here I thought everybody hated Tom
Initially I did as well, much like I initially disliked Star early on in the show. But given some time and a re-watch later, I rather appreciate his design and what we know of his back story. When a character legitimately tries to do something, even if the reasoning behind it isn't the best, it's rather endearing. Add on to that just how poorly it ended for the guy, I really hope he does get the redemption thing going for him, would certainly help the popularity of the show if he was like a semi-present character going forward.
That and his whole demon motive allows for a different kind of magic to be developed, who can say no to cotton candy explosions teamed with fiery meteor rain?
Keep an open mind and you'll hopefully find how it ticks for you, Folly. Even if it's only a gradual thing, it does get better if you keep at it. Especially if you can talk it through with someone you know
On a more positive note, I'm just re-reading through The Dream Girl again and I wanted to ask
is the swamp at the start still Marco's mind? Or does it all begin in Jackie's mind right from the beginning?
Man, I'm too ready for livestreams of new episodes. Need my fix since SU has gone back into hiatus again.
The threads back when the show was airing had great discussions about each poster art of the upcoming episodes. That one certainly has a menacing vibe to it, and the guards at that points really were considered to be a legitimate threat.
This is kinda cheating, from me, because it's stuff I didn't put explicitly in the story because of various reasons:
We don't see the first dream where Marco is trapped into: it was a normal dream of Jackie, and once Star calls her (waking her up), Marco forget most of the stuff, and ends up in the classroom with dream-Star. That's technically the same dreamworld, but there is no real "dreamer", and Star gets aware of what's going on, and takes advantage of it: the dream goes on for a while, then Jackie gets plugged in by Star's apparatus, and gets asleep again.
Jackie doesn't start immediately dreaming (it happens) but the dreamworld swithces again: fake-Star loses Marco (who feels like shit, and so the dreamworld turns into a marshland), but REAL-Star finds him quickly. Then, Jackie starts dreaming, and the beach is how her dream starts.
From then on, it's all Jackie's subconscious taking the reins: dream-Star is intruding in a dream she shouldn't be part of, so she has to somehow "cheat the system", and is thus forced in cute animal forms.
The desert is indeed part of Jackie's dream — and the trail Marco follows to get out of it is a breadcrumb trail that Jackie subconsciously uses to help Marco get to her.
I know, the chat in live streams are always fun to be apart of.
Ohh, stop! Such an image alone to imagine would give me a heart attack.
If I wasn't already busy working on my stories then I'd write a green. I'll just write it down and save it.
Ha knew it will touch that spot, although Im in the same situation, Ive been thinking in how a golden sun x sveg crossover would work , even if Im at work at the moment.
Actually I've been thinking about that crossover all day.....
if he keeps on his current trajectory he's gold
All right, I understand now. That's some cool stuff, Folly. I'm always a fan of how different authors interpret dreamscapes, considering each interpretation can be nearly completely distinct from the last.
On that same note then, later into the story I've also gotta ask
if each scene they find themselves in, such as walking the surprisingly normal interior of the grand castle, has that deeper meaning behind it?
I was trying to understand what it could be in regards to the pictures of famous places on the wall, but nothing came to mind.
If he can actually functionally interact with her early on in season 2 I will be diamond. Even that little extra in Bad Hair Day was great to see. He really needs another chance to show his stuff in front of her, no spaghetti this time.
As i meant it, all that's inside the castle concerns Jackie's interests, and the deeper into it they get, the more passion she has.
The first corridor is quite plain, and the interest is low: Jackie likes the outdoors and wold like to travel, but that's nothing too serious.
Giant mirror: she's more than a little vain.
Parlors — empty: she loves company, and hates being alone (after seeing the empty rooms, she becomes a little depressed).
The pink door/giant cobra:
I'm a gentleman, so I won't talk in detail about the subject.
The statues: Jackie had a little crush for Marco — but as of that point in the story, nothing too deep: and that's why the statues are OUTSIDE the emerald portal.
The secret passage: Jackie actually willed it into existence, but it ended up conveying her claustrophobia.
The emerald portal delimits the area that's really intimate and personal, and the two armors that guard it are her natural desire to protect her secrets.
The music store is both a representation of the real place, and a memento of the feelings she had when staying there in the real life.
Beyound the doors, there are other rooms that I didn't decribe. About the bedroom, I have actually never decided if it was Jackie's or if it belonged to one of her friends (Janna or Hope): anyway, it was the room where she had spent most time playing when she was a little kid (but the closet was small, and kinda scary…).
Another note: once Jackie controls the statues, get to get past the emerald door: sure, that was incidental, but it can also be seen as symbolic…
As I said before, all the comments Jackie makes about the caste and its contents are kinda revealing of what she thinks about herself: she feels like she's less interesting than she looks, so that what she sais when out of the eleveator; she feels she has not artistic talent, so she criticizes the paintings, etc.…
Nah, I just like to overthink stuff: I wanted to setup a personality for Jackie, and describe it in a less than direct way, that's all.
In fact, I think that was actually overkill, on my part.
Oh man, I'm so annoyed I didn't get some of those symbolism's. The outdoors and traveling ones make perfect sense, as does the large mirror and empty parlous. I'm glad I asked you about it really, adds a lot to the story and your interpretation of Jackie, which is getting better as I learn more. I have got to admit that I did equate the cobra to it's likely meaning, though I thought that was too obvious and I was being strung along, guess the girl's mind knows what she wants. Well, having an acceptance of ones desire to protect secrets and innermost feelings and letting those barriers down when you learn to trust someone seems like a fitting final touch of symbolism to the story. Hearing all this has really given me a renewed appreciation for your works man, you're the diamond of the hiatus generals for sure.
As I often said, my only advantage as a writer is that I can dedicate an obscene amount of time and effort on the stories, because I really have nothing better to do with either time, or effort.
So yeah, of course my stories are more elaborate than many: I have no fucking life!
Thank you for your appreciation, though: it makes it all worth it, really.
