The cutest little Nod you ever will see.
The good news is Ruby comes prepackaged with Roses for her funeral
So you believe Neo can win against the precious Rube?
They have higher teen pregnancy rates though.
Please, Neoposter anon, reassure me that bestgirl will beat the Rubes.
It's all the red lighting in the bridge since it was cinder-fied.
Not that I'd mind some coffee flavor in my ice cream
Maybe i at least like to believe Neo wont be killed this early.
No worries you'll get that victory one day.
I'm sure Neo will be fine, they still have too do a back story for her and Roman.
It was easy this time the last thread was gone.
Dammit Jaune that's not how you hold a shield...
Neo will think she can fuck with Ruby like she fucked with Yang, and Ruby will surprise her and start to win the fight
Then Neo will serious the fuck up for a little while, showing the full extent of her semblance before Roman or someone crashes the fight
Anyone got a link to a stream of the new episode? I refuse to pay Rooster Teeth, they make enough god damn money from advertising.
What are you talking about anon? RT loves their fans! Oh did I remind you that this part of the comment is brought to you by Nature Box! Start your free order today for great and healthy snacks!
REN'S SEMBLANCE IS
A serious point of contention within Rooster Teeth. It has gone back and forth a half dozen times and is still not set in stone. They're just going to push back the reveal as long as they can to avoid dealing with it. If/when they finally decide on Ren's semblance and finally air it, about four or five staff members are going to end up butthurt regardless of which power is chosen.
This was probably a little tribute to Monty wasn't it?
Dragons would eat gold in some legends.
In other legends dragons were creatures that got created wrong and wouldn't need to eat. Killing them was seen as a mercy.
You'd be seens as a hero for killing but for the skill it took or the determination you had to have had, instead you were a hero for being a good enough guy to mercy kill something that was a suffering existance.
You doubt the power of libido?
I want to kiss yang!
>Listen to "Don't stop me now" as you post this
>Just as the "Having a good time" lyric comes up
This is a sign to post Roman
What? Shouldn't Adam show a negative reaction towards her former teammate after Blake flaked out on him? At the very least, I thought he would be apathetic at her, furious at most. But here? It actually seems Adam is happy to see her.
Implying you need an excuse to post Roman.
And I am ok with it.
His name is Patton.
An excuse? Never. But an obligation? Well, who am I to fight fate?
>tfw all I could think about when Ironwood started running was AND THIS YEAR PAUL
I feel vindicated for having liked Ironwood all this time.
How the hell is Resse in beaconship but not Arslan?
They are students and are likely not gonne be all that mutch good in live combat when all they have been through so far is simulations and how to classes. Even the work experience is little more than hand holding.
Third years should be kicking ass left and right through.
Same, he's not my number one but damn if he didn't earn his place.
I feel like Cinder might go for the "I was the good guy all along" angle;
>Record all the atrocities while blaming the headmasters
>Steal Autumn's powers possibly killing Pyrrah
>Broadcast herself as a maiden saving the day
>Suddenly all of Vale thinks she's some sort of living legend
And then she's got the power she always wanted, and it puts the good guys in a nice juxtaposed "villain" position, opposing the "hero" for next season.
>They are students
So what makes them different from team RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, SSSN and half of FNKI? They are students too, you know? They are all from Beacon. They are all trained in how to use weapons and fight Grimm. It's a fucking disgrace when like a handful only have the courage to fight and protect the civilians.
It's a little too convenient. It's called bad writing. RT don't want hundreds of hunter students fighting together because then the Grimm invasion would easily be defeated.
>lockers fucking up the Nevermore
Why not commence orbital strikes on giant Grimm with stuff that is actually ammo next time?
Animation kind of broke up the emotion, but eh.
Would probably fit better for a final big bad fight.
>We finally see how Professor Port uses his weapon
Jesus christ, he must be a fucking bear to make sure that the recoil doesn't dismember him.
>Ironwood vs Beowolf
Animation wasn't quite as smooth as needed to show how easily Ironwood wrecked it.
"Cool deadly single pistol" also clashes against "super stronk bionic arm" in terms of archetype, but that's not really important.
>Blake pushes Weiss down to avoid gunfire
You would think the droids would have aimbot, or at least remarkable accuracy, especially when there was literally nothing between them.
Her semblance isn't just Speed.
Mark this down.
Again, they can probably use the same technology for a number of different things.
This will also probably never be seen again.
>"Hello, my darling."
>Students vs. Grimm
They're not exactly swarming, which is a shame.
>"Do not miss what happens next."
>proceeds to walk in front of the scroll
A true camwhore.
>Something terrible in the mountains
How many of you guys fucking called it?
I hate beaconship, its never what I actually want it to be.
I'd rather have an entire episode dedicated to his team than watch Cardin himself.
Maybe there are varying degrees of combat training at beacon.
Maybe most of the students will end up as simple police or work security jobs, not everyone at the school has to be super elite hunter/huntress in training.
Before you join the academy you go to a combat school. So you are trained at the combat school, and then at the academy. Point is, all students who flee have the skill in how to use weapons and fight. Not all of them might be like RWB and JNPR, but still.
I'd say whip or chain sword, but that should be more Glynda's realm.
Didn't RT say the cane wasn't h is weapon?
Well, Gray is actually on the staff and will be on the next ABTV - somebody should remember to have those guys ask why everybody in a student uniform who is not featured cast are such scrubs.
I get that that's what it's supposed to be.
Maybe a better way of making this make sense is to make the school like the ones from koukaku no regios, where the vast majority of students are there for a basic education while those with potential are put into a combat curriculum.
Is there any show like RWBY that isn't written by tards?
In all honesty, he sounded a bit sarcastic. The issue is that the voice acting is shit so you can't really tell.
But also you have to remember that he let her go. Blake is clearly terrfifed of fighting him but when she was escaping and at the same time fucking over his operation he stared at her and just let her go.
He probably was happy to see her but also being an asshole about it at the same time.
>Mai boi Adam having feelings for anyone.
Adam is married to the Faunus Cause. His great love is Lady Liberty, not some treacherous catlady. To reduce a man of honor, this embodiment of virtue, a freedom fighter to his people, as a common victim of human emotional fragility such as romance is absolutely ludicrous.
It's literally a hunting school though. Every single student there is a hunter or huntress in training. This is made extremely clear in the earlier Volumes.
Presumably people not interested in becoming a hunter have gone to regular school.
It's like he's written to be a complete goofus. Maybe he'll suddenly become gallant.
Or he's really shitty at this because he's only in Vale because Cinder has his balls firmly in her fiery grasp
The main characters don't have their weapons either. What did they do? They stuck around and summoned their lockers!
Cinder is right. The people can't trust hunters when only a handful out of hundreds have the courage to fight. These are the people who are supposed to protect them, to keep them safe from Grimm, but instead they flee like any other civilian.
>That fucking line.
That has to be one of the few times just saying "Fuck You" queitly would have been a better line.
That is how bad it was.
>Or he's really shitty at this because he's only in Vale because Cinder has his balls firmly in her fiery grasp
But he was shit before Cinder grabbed his balls.
They should really mix in some other stuff to watch for inspiration other than anime. Crime films for one.
chess themed autonamaton army
still makes no sense
people don't think logically when their scared its fight or flight if they couldn't immediately fight they made flight
>people don't think logically when their scared its fight or flight if they couldn't immediately fight they made flight
But these people are supposed to be future hunters.
I could make somebody always fight instead of flight with a couple of months of training. That's what training is for.
Doing whatever she wants to who she wants
They'd get put the fuck down because everyone is armed to the teeth. And someone that becomes a school shooter typically isn't a very good student, and when the curriculum is kicking ass that kinda puts you at a disadvantage when you want to murder people.
It'd be like Cardin going all Columbine, he'd get his shit pushed in.
I just wanna know what the safe word is.
Arslan remembers the ride to Vale with Reese and doesn't wanna repeat.
Yellow sash don't give a FUCK
>Nora and Penny as muh waifus
Yeah I got two, big whoop. Wanna fight about it?
>Ironwood has easily become the best husbando
>mfw having to choose between the three of them during beaconship
The only explanation is that the writers and animators -
A. Are retarded.
B. Made a universe where every single fighter is supposed to have a unique design and weapon, but don't have the budget to animate the population of the school as anything other than generic background NPCs.
Color nazis should have won, we wouldn't have this issue.
>people don't think logically when their scared its fight or flight if they couldn't immediately fight they made flight
These are people who sign up to be hunters. Hunters have one task = fight and kill Grimm. What do they expect to do when meet their first Grimm? Scream and flee?
It would have been nice if we saw a quick scene from the latest episode where Cinder tells Mercury to record the fleeing students, to further show the world that they can't trust hunters anymore.
I'm not asking to see all students fight. Show them in the background. Show some random nobodies that they are fighting too. That would have been enough for me.
They fight Grimm in classrooms and in order to attend you need to go to a previous school where you learn to use and build your own personal weapon. Just because Beacon operates like Hogwarts doesn't mean it isn't a combat school, Hunters aren't Soldiers. That's kinda the point, the military is different.
Just hold me tightly afterwords Glynda
And where the fuck is May in all of this??? She could be what turns the tide!
I read it jaune gets some guns while rwby and npr are out and tries to shoot up beacon
yes and they made a point that the institutions are kind of failing with people underestimating the threats
That much should be fucking obvious to everyone there. It was retarded for Cinder to even get on the mic since it defeats the point of the illusions on Yang and Pyrrha when you basically admit to orchestrating it and then attack.
>they're still being taught, not trained.
That's the problem. The person that's actually been trained to kill is the most effective fighter we've seen in the series.
And part of what you're talking about, fighting vs fleeing, is something that has to be drilled in to someone. It's not just something you pick up by sparring and having dudes drone on about history and Grimm
She's here, anon.
>implying yang doesn't bullshit her way onto the roof just in the nick of time to save ruby, leading to them 2v1ing the bitch and then taking her down.
either that, or yang asspulls up, fights neo while ruby goes in to take down roman.
You mean Blake, The Grumpy Cat?
>Jaune and Pyrrha looking and smiling to each other for a second near the end.
Why not rename the show to Arkos already. Next episode is going to have more Arkos than the previous ones combined.
> mfw this guy
Pretending to have taste this shit must be some sort of meta meme, meant to honor Neon.
I'd be down with it
Was just listening too The sponsor play this week Miles telling the story where he whispered in the ear to a recent date "stick your dick in my mouth"
and then later in the video he said he is butt curious, about ass play.
>Meeting new people
This was Neo's best birthday yet
You know, how do I contact Miles and Kerry? Those faggots need to watch Seraph if they want some good story writing with open worlds and how to kill characters properly without being overly edgy about it like AgK.
>and then later in the video he said he is butt curious, about ass play.
Could have been a jab about Kanye West when Amber Rose talked about sticking fingers up his ass when they were dating.
>tfw Atlesian soldiers will always be scrubs and never get Terran level armor so they can then git gud
Anger but also despair
So why the fuck did Ruby feel the need to jump out of the ship and use a locker to launch herself onto Roman's? Other than that it was a pretty great episode. Metal themed boys best husbandos.
>Seraph of the End
Holy shit kill yourself.
I really wish Cinder's voice would get replaced by like, Grey Delisle. Having her do such sinister things is greatly dampened by her poor voice performance.
Having Azula again would be pretty fantastic.
Ep7 was a smut goldmine
>tfw the only thing I will ever be known for is bugs.
Don't commit soduko, you did a wonderful job with this cancerous meme
When I accidentally started playing "I May Fall" earlier today, I was reminded that it's actually a female/male duet. Then I shortly remembered, among other things, that RWBY songs are basically always character specific, which got me thinking about who is supposed to be singing it. And I know I'm not the first person to think of Pyrrha and Jaune, but then I really started listening to the lyrics and thinking about the last few episodes...
Anyway, I made this for you Pyrrhafags. Our Fall Maiden is coming.
I'm sorry anon, but your taste is no better than the podcast commentators.
>Vowing to change
>Big smug smile while inside a burning building
>Brought an army of Grimm to fuck shit up and kill people
>"Hello my Darling"
>He thinks all anime is shit
I don't even watch anime and I know of good ones
>There is such a thing as good anime
Besides also being an RT general it's sort of ridiculous that someone would try and go into a general about a show with an anime style to it.
The fact that you even watch RWBY and say that there is no good anime is ridiculous also
>seraph of the end
Wow, you actually managed to fucking trigger me, good job.
>Because at least it isn't complete shit like other animes
Do you like Johnny Test too?
What the fuck man.
The main character is "the chosen one", he doesn't want friends because of his traumatic past (never saw that before), and when he gets over that he becomes the generic "nakama power" man.
The animation is utter shit, and the last episode of the second season was so poorly paced (along with the whole show) that you actually had no idea what the fuck was going on throughout the entire thing.
Here's a little tip, introducing a million questions in the last episode of the season is not a good way to get your audience hyped for the next season, it just gets them confused.
Seraph of the End is one of the worst anime of the last year.
Every season good anime pop up, yet you choose to take Seraph of the fucking end as an example of how to write a supernatural show.
You are a fucking disgrace to the human race, off yourself.
I'd like it more for the a cute moments here and there, if the faggot that created this wasn't stalling the ever loving shit out of the series in the manga. It's like "something happened, let make the status quo go back the very next episode".
The only thing I worried about when Monty died was Volume 4 character and weapon designs. How different will they be next season?
I'm confused. I said there IS such a thing as good anime.
so there's absolutely no way this can become a breach 2.0, right?
[rpoiler] r-right? [/spoiler]
Nigga, I bet you don't even read the manga. There are other people like him who have the Seraph X gene.
>What's rewatching an episode
Episodes poorly paced my ass, AnimeHaven got a new episode every Saturday for the first season. Stay triggered.
>It is also not an animation style.
That's debatable. And there is literally nothing wrong with saying RWBY is anime inspired. Anime has a certain set of cliches and tropes that nearly all follow.
>You're right but Miles and Kerry's writing makes it sounds like they think it's a genre.
No, they know better than that, to be fair.
I'm mainly about Tsugumi and Chitoge to be honest.
Then again I've only ever watched the first seven or eight episodes.
>And there is literally nothing wrong with saying RWBY is anime inspired.
This is true, but the rest of your post is as inaccurate as saying "Western cartoons are an animation style" and "Western cartoons have a certain set of cliches and tropes that nearly all follow."
>off by one
I'm not even the poster and i feel bad.
I'm judging the anime, why the fuck are you bringing the manga into this?
And are you fucking stupid? So as long as you can understand an episode after rewatching it any number of times it's well-paced?
Nigger, a show is well-paced if the tempo matches the scene and if you can understand everything in one go.
In the entire fucking show they're talking about "the seraph of the end", and they keep alluding to this big evil plan the general with short hair has, but when it finally comes to it in the last episode of the second season they still haven't explained shit about anything, so instead of being shocked by the guy's plan or even being able to judge it in any way you're just sitting there going like: "oh, apparently his sister is now some kind of super angel who got turned into a super demon. Huh. Oh and now the MC gets his uber demon form that has something to do with salt apparently. huh. Oh and now he effortlessly beats the other superdemon for some reason. Huh"
Anyone who hasn't read the manga will have no fucking idea what they're suppposed to think of that.
They have this huge climactic battle that is impossible to understand for anyone who hasn't read the manga, which completely ruins the whole "climax" part of it.
The only good things about that show are the costumes of the good guys.
So, can someone please recap what we got to see in the new episode?
What I got was:
> Ironwood'd Roboarm confirmed
> Ozpin is ready to fuck shit up and his cane is some kind of sword without having to be unsheathed (what the fuck tho?)
> BRNZ is officially worst team
> the pure impact of a rocket propelled locker is enough to immobiliza a giant nevermore, which begs the question why Beacon does not use more rocket propelled furniture
> the grimm, monsters of evil and destruction, are pretty bad when it comes to destroying stuff and predominantly attack the guys with the guns
> Grimm MLP
> Beowolf overhaul (or were those guys completely new Grimm?)
> Grimm Dragon, now nicknamed "We were too lazy to come up with a cool Name" by me
Did I miss anything important?
Y'know, I'm torn. Taking it seriously would make it worse, but bad writing makes it better.
>Rewatching the episode means it's well paced
Your triggeredness is affecting you understand the point. The Seraph of the End was an angel used to end the world if activated but can be weaponized and controlled under a ritual. That's what the latest episode showed. Grab a majority of the Vampire's noble and army and wipe them out.
>Mc becoming a super demon to fight the sister
>implying he mastered the power
>what's connecting the dots
Maybe if you know how to find references and subtle details in the show, you wouldn't have trouble with it in the first place
This is pretty much it.
"Anime" is how Japanese refer to animation.
It's not even a specific term.
Just because someone says "el gato" does not mean they refer to a sombrero-toting, mariachi-playing cat.
Outside of Japan, it would describe animation that has characteristics frequently used in Japanese animation.
Is Boondocks not western?
What's the one thing that would make you mad if it happened before the season ends.
Pyrrha dying in the next few episodes for me.
I want to tie up Yang!
>No one is checking the double trips with a dash of luck
Son you have got to learn to save images at the proper size.
I wanna feel her squirm underneath me.
I wanna stick it in her ass without her consent
and not hear her say the safeword
>Nigiri can't do shit besides sounding like an ominous-Lust 99% of the time.
This pretty much hits it.
I don't know if it's the writing, or if that's what Nigri honestly thinks she is like, but it makes Cinder so much more one-dimensional.
We don't know her motives.
We don't know her personality or state of mind. (if she was CUHRAZY, that would at least replace a motive)
We don't know her past.
All we got was on Mercury and Emerald.
Those black screen moments could have been used for something meaningful, but the script failed when it was supposed to shine.
Don't have something entirely dependent on the character's lines if they're shit.
Think of you favorite comedian...
He/She is now doing a comedy special in Atlas. There is now a character based of him/ her. Your waifus reactions are replaced by his/hers.
