Hi all.. Really bad day. Can we get some fluff?
Broken wings apparently will hold me down..
Xth for best Slav Sniper
That's not Captain Florida.
Okay Anon's think of the last /co/ related thing you've read or watched (Not RWBY of course)
You have to take some elements from that thing and incorporate it into Remnant what is it?
>weapon is a High-Impact Sniper-Scyth
Come on, Thatcher.
They only gay sniper maybe
>Not North Dakota
You got it.
Wasn't that a cheek kiss? Why would Ruby slam her own sister for asking for a kiss?
I personally prefer mute Neo, but let's say that she gets to have a voice at some point for whatever reason, do you think they could manage to keep the cuteness?
Also, what should be her first ever line if that ever happened?
I don't get it either, sibling kiss each other like that all the time when they're really young. It doesn't make it incest, if Yang's asking for a kiss just to mess with her younger sis
Somebody puts all of the RWBY multiverse into a patchwork planet with different sections
One is an army of tiny pennies versus an army of Neo Vore'sthe ruler of RWBY battleworld is Roman
Notice that for May to be effective in combat, the rest of her team had to run interference.
Typical sniper tactics aren't useful at all in RWBY, you're either fighting humans, who don't go down in one shot, or you're fighting Grimm.
You got the blood everywhere! Now we are all infected!
>May likes it long
According to what she says maybe
She's also a hyper 15 year old in training.
Give her time, she might get there some day.
Plus regular earth war tactics seem pretty useless in any situation we've seen her in.
Long live the queen.
Exactly my point. Ruby very rarely does any of the things someone would associate with a sniper and she's fine. It's not a matter of effectiveness, but style, and Ruby's style most definitely isn't "Find a vantage point and wait for the perfect shot."
Guys help me on this
I was showing my friend RWBY and he complained about the plot not having a 'goal' until recently, regardless of whether or not that's an issue. Yet I argued that Roman's been there since the beginning, he said 'we haven't seen roman in a while'
this was after he saw episode 8
how little do you have to be paying attention to not notice that fucking Roman reappeared?
I mean goddamn how do you miss that
I'm starting to get into Cinder lately, she's not in my top 10 but at least in my top 15
Honestly, Ruby's weapon, like everyone else's, is just based on the rule of cool.
A scythe would actually be shitty and she barely exploits the high caliber sniper part of it.
If they were realistic, their weapons would be built to fit their semblances.
For example, Ruby could use a garrote or monomolecular string with her speed to cut through tides of enemies.
Blake could carry multitudes of Dust grenades that she leaves with a clone whenever she moves, similar to Oni Lee from Worm.
Gavin has the unfortunate superpower to be smart or learned enough to actually be right most of the time - but he isn't able to articulate it very well.
Combine lightly with Burnie and Gus being typically old about a lot of stupid stuff.
>Insults her hair
>Calls her a slut
>Says her boots are ugly and cheap
>Says she has no style
>"That necklace is pretty though. Who'd ya steal it from?"
Straight for the jugular
What he is saying if you are arguing that RWBY makes sense you are an idiot.
Scythe actually can be used effectively, and there's even a medieval book on the usage, but just because it can be used doesn't mean there are no better weapons out there, especially considering amount of work needed to master it.
I know it's fiction, but this one always gets me. Besides, where do you think she'll get one at all? Remnant isn't the most advanced of places, and having something like that means advanced materials, even beyond what we've seen so far.
That explains it, that's not what I'm arguing.
It's more the fact that the plot didn't have a motivation or goal or whatever.
Both are irrelevant, as the question is: how can you watch episode 8 and NOT notice Roman
>Cinder and Neo will never make you lick their shoes clean
>Scythe actually can be used effectively, and there's even a medieval book on the usage
Please don't spout that shit that manuscripts was how to duel with scythes, it was retarded to do, and if I remember right even the pictures clearly show you have to put the scythe all the way around someone and cut towards yourself, which is retarded.
War scythes also are nothing like farming scythes. Scythes are shitty weapons, and garrote at super sonic speeds also seems like a really stupid idea.
Aren't they are called war scythes? And I was talking about a usual scythe, not reforged. Point still stands though, if you know how, you can use it. She should've just made herself a fancy spear.
Gus is just a prick that is stuck in his way, but he gets that.
Burnie on the other hand is really annoying, because he'll just go "Nah that's dumb" if it goes against the way he/Texas/America do something, and will believe their lives would be better off if the rest of society did XYZ his way, even on stupid redundant stuff like Europe not really doing "playoffs" in their leagues.
>Cinder will never use you for sexual relief
Well duh, it's not a weapon, it's a fucking farming tool, what did you expect? Still a blade though, can work if there's nothing else, but really awkward, sometimes you're better off just breaking it off and just using the stick.
These are war scythes.
And well you can use it you never should a scythe is made to cut at ankle height effectively, the only reason the scythe gets any credibility as a weapon is the depictions of the grim reaper, but in the proper depictions he isn't a fighter but more of a messenger of death, come to swath away life with his scythe.
>You will never put Cindy in Cinder
you think Celia or whatever is as into Sun as her VA
Forgot the image because I was distracted.
That's because a farming scythe is intended to be held by special handles with the blade flat against the ground, and farming scythes are angled for that purpose.
Obviously. My point is that it can be used, not good nor great, just used, simple as that. I don't like it either.
I'm not sure if there's anything that can't be a weapon in one way or another.
scythes are pretty impractical weapons since you would have to hook it around and then pull towards you, but damn they look cool.
Actually now that I think about it was MILF Yang ever drawn?
No, I don't think so. I believe she'd prefer a more tech-savvy guy
She's not even hiding her desire to be filled.
>Cinder: Yes. It's... an emptiness. It burns. Like hunger. I like it.
She's themed after a blue sky, going by her name. Ciel Soleil = Blue Sky
Her CPU is overheating and so am I for that alternate hair style.
I want to worship Fertility Goddess Cinder!
Ironwood gathers some on Remnant's most dangerous criminals for suicide missions that Qrow or the rest of the Ozluminati can't afford to do
To remind others they will never date her younger sister.
>Cinder mostly in control of her new found desire to be with child
>Tends to lose control when emotions run high
>Mostly due to things going to keikaku
>Cue Cinder seducing some random student at the dance for easy sex after the virus gets uploaded
>And so and so on after the Breach
>And also the rigged fights
Cinder's attire just looks like it's made to end up on the floor at night
>Their first mission is to infiltrate the Schnee Headquarters to steal top secret information
>Neo puts on a disguise and sneaks her way in letting the rest of the squad in
>They find out Weiss and Winter are also in the building but are not part of the mission
>Banesaw's hatred of the Schnee's is so great he goes AWOL during the mission just to try to kill them
>His dust infused collar goes off and eventually his presence alerts the whole building
>Wacky shanagins happen
There are no strings on her.
>Yang gets shanked in the neck mid song and fight abrubtly stops.
Merc chases Rube into watching it happen.
>fucking farming tool
>Implying farming tools can't be used as proper weapons
>What are Tonfas, jūbidōs,Tambōs, and Bo Staff
With slight modifications, a farming tool can be used as weapons easily
>What are Tonfas, jūbidōs,Tambōs, and Bo Staff
Most those weapons are associated with people that need to train for years to use effectively. Also people only used those widely because of the ban on blades if memory serves. People preferred to have proper weapons to repurposed farming tools.
I think it's actually quite good at its current level.
Emerald isn't slobbering over Cinder at every other moment, which wound make her look silly and a joke character. Instead, brief signs of that attraction and/or respect will occasionally slip out.
How can such a thought be brought into existence.
>implying Cindy isn't the servant girl next door Jaune played with to get away from him sisters
>implying the invasion isn't the first time Jaune's heard that voice ever since their mansion burnt down, charred corpses all found except for one
Those are literally slight modifications. Grab a farm scythe, heat the metal, fold it to change thickness, reform it to a different angle, and continue with the cooling process. Removing the handles of the staff and shortening it is nothing more than using a saw.
>Dryden never posted the uncensored version on /aco/
Whomever they put in a gay scare episode.
>Blake will never sleep on your lap and purr while you pet her head
Damn it anon, you made me remember
>tfw found a list of all our drawfags and their addresses/identities
>mfw all the names listed were people that died 100 years ago
They were never here. This is all a lie.
He mostly just threw out a lot of terms without explaining them, kinda like he assumed Burnie was a smartman who would understand him, but he did not. The episode is public now you can watch it.
hey /RWBYG/ let me run a idea for a semblance though you guys and tell me what you think.
name: stand by me
power: creates a ghost like being to appear close to the user and follows his/hers commands. this being can be augmented with various dust types for different effects. for example fire dust will make the ghost's touch rapidly heat up objects it lays it's hand on, or ice dust will rapidly cool an object.
appearance: when un-augmented the ghost appears featureless and uncolored, sort of like a unfinished drawing. however, when augmented it takes on a theme based on the dust type used. fire dust makes it red and orange and wearing a odd looking fire fighters uniform while ice dust make it blue and white and wearing what looks like a figure skaters outfit.
behavior: unlike most semblances this power seems to have a life of it's own, protecting it's user from direct attack as best it can without any prompt from it's user. it also seems to enjoy posing doing so during combat to show off or to help emphasize a point its user's making.
Look at the other "clone" semblances. They all have limits.
Blake can only make after shadows, Sun can't move while using his and they vanish after a hit, and Flynt's can only copy what he does.
Yours basically removes the limits and makes a second person with elemental powers.
Not to mention all the JoJo shit the others have already brought up.
Well, Roman hired Junior to supply his men for his jobs. Obviously Junior and anyone working for him aren't exactly on the right side of the law.
They're likely there to protect whatever things he's doing behind closed doors.
Plus they need some love, fuck off.
>Malachite Sisters aren't villains
Not what RT says.
>power: creates a ghost like being to appear close to the user and follows his/hers commands. this being can be augmented with various dust types for different effects. for example fire dust will make the ghost's touch rapidly heat up objects it lays it's hand on, or ice dust will rapidly cool an object.
It is autonomous and follows commands, as well as dust augmentation, that is incredibly strong.
>appearance: Fire dust makes it red and orange and wearing a odd looking fire fighters uniform while ice dust make it blue and white and wearing what looks like a figure skaters outfit.
It plays dress up.
>behavior: unlike most semblances this power seems to have a life of it's own, protecting it's user from direct attack as best it can without any prompt from it's user. it also seems to enjoy posing doing so during combat to show off or to help emphasize a point its user's making.
Special snowflake, it is fucking autonomous, and it has a personality.
It sounds way above and beyond most the presented semblances, and the fact it is a thing that can think on its own, but still follows commands, and to top it all off is dust augmented.
That reminds me, I came up with a "clone" semblance myself for a final boss ex-Huntress sort of villain for my own OC story, tell me what you guys think of it.
Basically it's Earth Golem creation where they have to sacrifice some earth to create a permanent but one-hit fragile clone that can only do one specific thing (like one sword swing or raise a shield) but the permanency is the major threat of the villain not to mention the ex-huntress part.
We haven't seen many semblances, though. I mean, how do you even define why one person gets a specific power, for something like soul?
But the range limit makes sense, you can say that clone is essentialy soul projection with all the risk, push or strain it too much and it's separated from the body.
I kind of figured it would be more like the schnees summoning but I get what you're saying. oh well, guess that what I get for posting something I only spent a few minutes thinking on.
So they can spend the off day spamming clones to make an army?
It seems balanced enough to me.
Because the ones we have seen besides the fucking Schnees have limits.
Yang can only use hers so long as she can physically take the damage.
The three I already mentioned.
Nora's only works with Electricity.
Emerald can only affect up to two people without struggling.
Neo's illusions shatter on contact.
The guy's original post had no limit. Nothing about range or the cap on it's power. Just "summon an elemental fashion wizard who can do anything and think for itself".
The Schnees are the exception to the rule.
Don't forget to get fit and dress in most fabulous manner.
It'd be great to have some spanners to Cinder plans. Or some magnificent bastard hijack Cinder, and her being a scrub in comparison to games played by others in more dangerous lands with Grimm.
Pyrrha's was supposedly touch, but that got thrown out the window. I guess it's that she's limited to metal.
We haven't really seen enough of Glynda besides Janitor Mode to really know. She might have issue with larger objects or something, where as hundreds of tiny things are nothing. Who knows?
What's your OC/character idea for rwby?
Mine is a luchador wrestler
There isn't a more magnificent bastard than Cinder, though.
>The Schnees are the exception to the rule.
I thought the exception was that it was heredity, not that summoning was special on it own? but yeah I will have get rid of the "can think for itself" bits and make it more limited in power and range.
A male Yang basically. A fist fighter that gets stronger when angry.
She's not magnificent, though.
Magnificent person doesn't need to treat their people like minions or telling them to obey rather than think. Her chosen directions are lacking, too.
Battle Butler, Ninja, Knight/Lead Singer, 9 Tailed Fox, Video Gamer Mechnomancer, Mechanized Armored Mechanic...Earth Golemancer ex-Huntress.
Yeah, I had way too much time for the past couple years.
Everyone else has a very specific semblance.
Everyone else has a limit.
The Schnees have a Swiss Army Semblance that they can spam so long as they have aura.
If they aren't an exception, then their limits are fucking retarded and exist outside of reality.
A magician/trickster with body manipulation. It was illusions but then everyone started having illusion powers so they're just double/triple/quadruple/etc-jointed.
Nothing written for her except a character sheet, though
I have too many. My favourite is a fist fighter whos semblance is basically just Luke Cage's diamond hard skin, but he can use dust for different effects. He can go full human torch if he wants, but that would leave serious physical and mental damage.
What the fuck thats like a mess of a team.
Burnie's usually bad with that kind of stuff. It's like the "relative to you he's upside-down" discussion. You can't try and change the frame of reference on him, that just doesn't seem to click. It doesn't help that Gavin doesn't ACTUALLY explain to him when he straight up asks "So is an A-level a class, a test or a degree?". Barb and Blaine probably got more than they seemed they just didn't shout about it.
Got some rough sketches for the first three, yet to get it down for #4.
What do you guys think about this for a RWBY weapon?
Inspired by the gunlances from Monster Hunter. Top down perspective, obviously.
Middle part fires single rounds of baseball sized bullets.
The blades fold in on themselves at the red lines and the cannon can be reduced to the first part for easier transportation.
It's basically just a cannon with a sword on each side.
Just remember you can't actually slice anything where there's a canon part in the middle. Like when the cannon and blades are fully extended, you can only slice with the section just a little after the last red line.
I think it works for a heavy like Yatsu or Nora.
Well I have almost all of my OCs commissioned if that helps. I'll post a link to my OC Album.
Time to get criticized to hell.
If you're looking for free ones either Gimp or paint.net
So a thought occurs.
Can you break down the four-man team structure in such a way that you can list 4 distinct archetypes, each team possessing all the archetypes?
So the same system of role allocation in every team.
>Just remember you can't actually slice anything where there's a canon part in the middle
Yeah, they are basically there for defensive reasons. Otherwise a Grimm could just grab that thing and throw it away, since the wielder is pretty slow.
No, I would say that all the teams do not have the same role build.
RWBY has four distinct roles, but say, JNPR has two people who have the same role (because their role works better with synergy).
A failure for a mafia goon with a vendetta against his superiors, a street brawler with a big and selfish dream, a reserved desert princess who has no direction in life, and a human speciest man of the wilds foreign to the city's culture.
I honestly like Neo a lot but I just have this feeling she's been posted a lot on /rwbyg/ lately.
And why wouldn't she be?
We need to get Wozers to draw Midori.
At least you drew yours and not commissioned right?
When I try to move my hand to follow that hand motion, it kind of makes sense but I know where you're getting at.
I plan to get the same guy who did Indi to draw everybody else (though his list's been clogged up for 9 months). His drawing is godly though, he did pic related.
More like she travels around with it since it's her weapon but she's got a huge thing for roleplaying and being hammy and it doesn't help she's lived her life playing video games.
Thanks man, it helps my (apparently) low self-esteem.
That made me laugh harder then it should had
>she's been posted a lot on /rwbyg/ lately.
She has been. I can't really tell my emotions for it.
I got the clothes from S4 League and my artist friend drew it for me for free. I can't draw for shit.
There has never been waifu balance of power. We were invaded by the Schneeites but the Banesaw brothers drove them away. Aside from that I have seen a lot of Neo, and then usualy a good chunk of Rube/Neo.
They're supposed to be the bad guys and they suck at teamwork which leads them to fight opponents alone since they are really competent.
The idea was they are capable to take baddies on their own but can't into team stuff
I really love Wowzers stuff,
I support Neo, Weiss, AND Nora.
No defender of Waifus shall yield.
Say, do the Waifu Armies have mottos?
I'm sorry Anon, I just don't like Yang that much.
Her sister is among my group of second favorites though.
>I just don't like Yang that much.
I prefer Nora, Neo and Emerald, myself.
Drunken suicidal mexican martial artist, fights with his body, swords, guns and anything he can get, constantly hoards everything, whines a lot. Smokes a lot too.
Aura is very low, semblance is musical, allows to replay music he previously heard in any way, be it specific fragments, choosing specific notes or instruments, rearranging pieces if he can remember them and so on, the more musical instruments replayed the stronger the effects, but only if played well. Unharmonious music just makes dust explode and makes him weaker and may damage his tune pool.
Replays in certain range all around him even in vacuum, depends on a volume, but usage severely damages him, can be extended to kilometer ranges at the cost of his life, lots of dust, and possibly lives of others.
Any actual effects only work if he uses a musical instrument with dust capabilities, there's dust and musical instruments nearby, effects on dust can vary, but it can either destabilize it, trigger the effects which also can make enemy stronger or weaker depending on how it is, just explode, thus bringing everyone down for one big brawl. Unsure about electronics.
Without dust or an instrument he's just a suicidal hero with a music player, he still can affect others emotionally or their dust, but with every dust gone it's melee.
So kinda like Flynt, except only for a few specific dramatic moments full of emotions like regret and hot blooded determination with him being nearly or dead.
>I support Neo, Weiss, AND Nora.
>I support Weiss
Yes brotherrrrrrr it is time.
Post the one with Blake finding Zwei on her bed.
does Courtoon count?
Man I could star at this girl all day.
...That's not creepy, right?
>I could star at this girl all day.
You are one sick bastard
>All this art of the other outfit
you think Casey will ever do a rendition of "I Burn" dressed as Yang. Not because I think she's hot but I do thinks she's cute.
Has she? i counted 10 out of the 148 images posted here, how exactly is she being posted more then any other character?
I think it is just she usualy gets the first three or so posts dedicated to her, gives the impression she is posted the most since those get seen the most.
not meshould go and look through the last few threads and tally the image counts. For science! also because they have no life.
This reminded me of a weird thought I had earlier, that the way the bunks are arranged, if Yang was
having a burning hot yang-bangon the top bunk, it would totally fall over, probably down on to Blake's bed. Clearly the solution is both Yang and Blake get on top
I don't think he was imply it was a problem
Manga Studio can be pirated through /ic/ if your lucky enough o find the threads that provide resources. Here's an edit of an online drawing, my autism didn't like how the original tears were drawn. Once you have it pirated, you could chose to upgrade it to EX for free as I found out
>Posting a crying Blake
Couldn't you choose a different example? Now I need happy Blake.
Here's another edited one, I simply removed the white rose happening behind her (Cuz my autism told me so)
I don't want to believe it but I can see this happening oh to well.
>Blake's a traitor to her own teammates for evil reasons
When will this shitty meme die
Who said it was evil? She just has a hunger that can only be filled by betrayal.
She is a simple dirty addict. If she had a calling to a higher purpose she wouldn't have betrayed the White Fang.
The power is yours
Think of a RWBY guy that's not Qrow or Taiyang. Ruby comes up to him with pic related. How badly does Yang kick his ass? Does Qrow kill them before Taiyang arrives?
Does he take responsibility?
Incorrect, in Henceforward, she was under the influence of Grimm betawaves. She never wanted to stab Ruby, yet she wasn't strong enough to prevent the waves from controlling her.
>Blake Belladonna Turned on the White Fang to join a team at beacon
>Turned on that team to join up with Cinder
>Turned on Cinder's team by becoming an Ozlluminati agent halfway in her villain career
>Betrays all of Remnant for Cinder's mysterious boss
>At the last possible moment, she kills the boss and seizes power
>She stands facing a world she has managed to fully betray, holding all four maiden powers
>With but a gesture, Armageddon can begin
>A recovered RWY face off against her
>She settles into a battle stance, preparing to fight her former comrades
>But then she remembers that she's left one person out in her grand scheme
>Smiling, Blake Belladonna thinks of her teammates, lifts the gun, and fires a single shot
Time to bring in the big guns.
>Not a girl that suffered trust issues
>Not a girl that suffers PTSD
>Not a girl that has seen some shit happen to her former friends mental state and radicalization
