I'm not sure if the "Uncanny" in the title refers to the X-Men themselves or to how bad Land's art is
And that's it for this month folks. Hope you all enjoyed
I'd be madder about this were it not for the fact that they already killed him in Wolverines and the only reason he's alive to be killed off again is that Bendis doesn't care about continuity.
Well apparently he's dead again now.
I swear, between dying, coming back from the dead, and dying again, and their general adtitudes towards Time Travel, Marvel shouldn't have to go with the racism angle for why they're hated, their actions are proof enough.
They don't even have to do that.
One thing I almost enjoyed about Bendis's X-Men was that Maria Hill hated the X-Men, because whenever she dealt with them, there was always something fucked up they were doing, like starting a war with future versions of themselves.
Jesus did it once, and he was one guy.
We had an entire country full of mutants who came back to life, and I lost count of how many times that redheaded slut came back from the dead.
>Meh, he was going to die anyway, so it doesn't matter that I got him killed faster.
Magneto has been pretty repulsive lately. What's the logic in getting the few remaining mutants killed, especially since his whole stick has been mutant supremacy?
Nothing. Like everything written by bendis.
But if you want to know. For some retarded reasons, some mutants decided to live on what remained of Utopia, including a multi-millionaire lesbian nicknamed Karma. And because karma is a bitch, they got discovered by Shield. O5 helped them move away safely from utopia into the real world
I don't blame Bendis for not remembering the shitty storyline where Karma's never before mentioned millionaire half sister hired the Marauders, kidnapped Karma, and the X-men didn't bother trying to look for Karma and instead just went to Northstar's impromptu wedding, and then the half sister died and for some reason left her money and business to Karma
that's where the old spice scent comes from. Gunpowder is his perfume.
what else can the writers do when they have to write a story but the main part of the plot involving their characters has already been decided and they can't solve it?
>creating entire organs from nothing
yay, Bunn knows his shit
>I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what I can do
oh, he just read Wikipedia.
His power should already be absolute.
>healing multiple people without contact
Huh, nevermind. Maybe he knew his shit all along.
I'll post it in a way that you can properly appreciate it.
>and I lost count of how many times that redheaded slut came back from the dead.
Exactly. Ehr... zero. Jean Grey came zero times back to life.
She didn't die the first time, only actually died once and has been dead ever since. Teen Jean don't count.
Something Bendis created that sucks, an editorial mandate kid for the apocalypse wars and a girl that was the gf and is only there for drama if the leaks about Quentin Quire happend to be true
>Wolverine opens the school to keep the kids from dying
>They stop dying,
>scotts turn evil, desert or get killed
>Storm takes over when wolverine dies
>Kids start dying again, and may even go evil
Wolverine was Right
>Wolverine opens the school to keep the kids from dying
I can't read shit with your low levl scan.
But considering putting hope in combat situations was retarded, and how zero turne dout from that mess you didn't prove any thing
None of the X-kids died while wolverine was running the school
>He didn't die
Primal also got shot on school grounds. He also didn't die, but at this point the fact that no one died was more up to shitty marksmenship than the school offering any sort of protection.
He was just lucky to start his school when the purifiers had already been beaten and scattered after Second Coming.
But let's face it, the whole narrative is kind of skewed, because while Gillen actually tried to write Scott's side in earnest, Aaron just wrote lol-so-wacky hijinks for the entire run.
There was no actual book that actually represented his side of the Schism properly.
M is annoying, magneto is just on this team, because marvel wants a series with him, sabretooth is more wolverine then the all new all different wolverine. Psylocke, fantomex and archangel got some big backstories in uncanny x force 1 and 2, also in cables X force, so i can understand at least that.
>WatXM was a trainwreck. I don't mind wacky hijinx but not as 1/2 of your main team books.
I gave that book a shot. I noticed it was trying to be a humor book, but it didn't make me laugh even once during its first issue.
Then his Artemis Fowl expies showed up and identified as the new Hellfire Club and I was just fucking done right away.
>Aaron like Bendis should never ever be let anywhere near a team book ever again.
He did about as much damage to the franchise as Bendis. His legacy to the franchise are the two worst X-Men events ever and I can't even remember how much he was involved in AvX.
So maybe it was even a straight-up hattrick of terrible events.
>magneto is just on this team, because marvel wants a series with him
the author said in interviews he wanted to resist the urge to just make this book Magneto and friends, after he just wrote an entire run about him.
I doubt that will last though.
Honestly other than his Thor run which has been decent if unspectacular I've never really loved Aaron's Marvel work.
Wolverine was completely fanboyed
WatXM was bad and not even funny
Hulk was an abortion of badness
Personally I'd like Aaron to go away but that would probably just leave more room for Hopeless
Honestly ever since his 90s series Ghost Rider has kinda bored me as a comic. You are right I should probably give it a read but honestly character I barely care about plus writer I generally dislike is not a recipe for success.
First they ditch him on a shitty fucking island for years.
Then they bring him back only to have him murdered.
Then they bring him back only to durdle around and do fucking nothing with him.
And now they kill him again?
Either they'll bring him back... Or they won't.
Either way, Marvel's been dead to me for a while.
