>>79154062 That image should be updated with Ant-Man & Wasp, Spider-Man, and their impact on the remaining MCU schedule, and new logos for Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Flash film, Aquqman, and Cyborg.
>>79154062 Yes, and I look forward to things calming the fuck down for a while. Maybe when comic book movies are no longer "trending" the comics themselves will be able to regain some equilibrium and stop trying to be everything to everyone, because they're desperate to rake in as much money as possible while the boom is in full swing.
>>79154062 Yes. China likes Kaijus more and with talks of creating a "Kaiju Cinematic Universe" with "Godzilla vs King Kong" being the starting point after the Godzilla sequal. >Big Dick Gzilla is going to LITERALLY BTFO of Marvel and DC and crash the comics industry.
In general fads die out. Something gets really popular out of nowhere, then after a while everyone flocks to it, the market gets flooded and eventually it dies out. That's literally what we're seeing now with the 20 or whatever announced movies by marvel and DC. More of you add the TV shows.
Luckily, history repeats itself so once comic movies/TV shows die out we only have to wait 20 or 30 years for them to come back strong. I'm really hoping the next comic book boom is in video games. I have no idea how they don't realize how cool comic games could be if they really tried.
>>79154799 No but the trailer made it look that way, or at the very least a huge game changer for the characters. The trailer set expectations. Instead we got what amounted to just another day-in-the-life for our heroes. Ultron, one of Marvel's biggest threats, was just another baddie the heroes had to stop.
Had they advertised it for what it truly was, expectations would have been different and fans wouldn't have felt lied to.
>>79154062 >2020 >A new elderscrolls game will be out >Whichever US president we elect will be going for his second term >Another World cup >Another Olympics >I will hopefully have a degree by then good fucking christ
>>79154062 >no Hitman movie >no Martian Manhunter in DCU whatsoever >no Captain Atom either >Harley Quinn >Superman has less hair than Lex >no Swamp Thing >no Guy Gardner >no Plastic Man >no Unknown Soldier movie or in Suicide Squad
>>79156123 Yes. It's literally illegal for you to watch both. You'll always have a preference, and you must shit on the one you like the least because PICK A SIDE, YOU MOTHERFUCKER. WHAT ARE YOU, SWEDEN?
>>79155538 On the image, the Marvel and DC films are not aligned with each other (Batman v Superman is between AoU and Ant-Man, not Ant-man and Civil War, Suicide Squad is between Ant-Man and Civil War, not Civil War and Doctor Strange, etc.)
>Tim Miller's DEADPOOL (Fox) – February 12, 2016 >Zack Snyder's BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE (WB) – March 26, 2016 >Joe & Anthony Russo's CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (MCU) – May 6, 2016 >Bryan Singer's X-MEN: APOCALYPSE (Fox) – May 27, 2016 >David Ayer's SUICIDE SQUAD (WB) - August 5, 2016 >Scott Derrickson's DOCTOR STRANGE (MCU) – November 4, 2016
>James Mangold's WOLVERINE (Fox) – March 3, 2017 >James Gunn's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 (MCU) – May 5, 2017 >Matthew Vaughn's KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE 2 (Fox) - June 16, 2017 >Patty Jenkins' WONDER WOMAN (WB) – June 23, 2017 >Luc Besson's VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS (EuropaCorp) - July 21, 2017 >Jon Watts' SPIDER-MAN (MCU/Sony) – July 28, 2017 >Taika Waititi's THOR: RAGNAROK (MCU) – November 3, 2017 >Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE: PART 1 (WB) – November 17, 2017 >Doug Liman's GAMBIT (Fox) - Unspecified, 2017. >Chad Stahelski and David Leitch's BLOODSHOT (Universal) - Unspeficied, 2017.
>Ryan Coogler's BLACK PANTHER (MCU) - February 16, 2018 >Seth Grahame-Smith's THE FLASH (WB) – March 23, 2018 >Joe & Anthony Russo's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR - PART 1 (MCU) – May 4, 2018 >Peyton Reed's ANT-MAN & THE WASP (MCU) - July 6, 2018 >James Wan's AQUAMAN (WB) – July 27, 2018
>Del Taco won't do the Dark Universe movie. >Edgar Wright will never direct Blue and Gold >Joe Carnahan will never write/direct a >Punisher movie >Millar's shit would be adapted through Vaughn's efforts as a director/producer while Mignola, Powell and Sakai will die without seeing their movies on the big screens the way they want to
As long as Fox keeps making those OTHER Hitman movies (you know, the ones that suck even though the games they're allegedly based on are cool), you'll never see a movie of Tommy Monaghan. And if you do, WB's probably going to make it into the next Jonah Hex or Green Lantern.
