Lots of things to like, but that speech by Bloom is way too long, especially considering that he doesn't really say anything you haven't heard from a villain before. Classic Snyder. I really like that conversation in the park though, and I say that as someone who's completely sick of him writing these two characters together.

Four times Batman has quit or "died" before, each time it happened, Joker also quit at the same time. But as soon as Batman came back, Joker had to come back as well, even when he didn't want to.

Sometimes Joker just became a model prisoner, sometimes he became a normal citizen, he just tried to go back to being something at least. However as long as there's a Bruce Batman, there has to be a joker, even when Joker has to be dragged back to the job by his own psyche, that just wants to quit already.

So he begs Bruce, because they both know, it can end here, they both don't want to keep doing it, but he knows Bruce will keep doing it eventually, and because of that Joker will have to return as well.

Batman and Joker are both people dragged out on stage and forced to preform even when they're sick of it, because that's their role.

I didn't like how the Joker spoke in double entendres the entire time. It's suppossed to be deep and it feels really flat, but that's how it often is with Snyder. Just as him reusing ideas by other writers and always falling short.
