I can understand not wanting to double dip into the BuckyCap pool
They just had a story arc about Steve and Zemo's kid and it ended with Ian, who Steve cared for like a son, coming back adult sized already a captain america to the mutants of Dimension Z, he would have made a fine transitional Cap and a touching cap off on that little story
But fine, Marvel wants someone known and minority because it's their big kick right now. Fucking Eli, Patriot, his whole deal is black captain amreica
But instead you pick Sam, a supporting movie character, trivializing his Falcon image by graduating him to Captain America. It just seems iffy at best and insulting at worst

Much like manga, the ultimate goal of monthly comics is not to provide an excellent story (although it can certainly happen), but to get the audience hyped up for next month's issue. And what better than changes to the status quo that revert back as soon as they outlive their welcome?

The difference between comics and manga is that manga has decompressed story telling, mostly due to their weekly format. So a manga can have a whole chapter dedicated to setting up a fight and three more just to have said fight play out, creating natural hype for the next chapter.

Comics don't have that excuse, since a single chapter can have tons of revelations and plot points.

Im happy, these cant come soon enough mostly. I just want my Captain America back and continue the plot left hanging by his abruptly canceled series.
