I love Hellboy, its probably my favorite comic.
And I love the history. Mignola is a very intelligent writer.
But this "SpeedyGonzales" Mexico always trigger me.
I know that my country still have some desert shitholes in the north, but why? Why every fucking story in Mexico always happen in this kind of place.

It's more iconic, mexianon. Honestly there is this sort of romance and genuine beauty of these sort of deserts. It has that western feel that just creates a lot of character in a setting.
