Just finished it. I liked it. Ending felt kinda rushed but the fight choreography and the story was alright. It's stupid how they didn't explain how batman survived the explosion in the beginning

I'm sick of everyone being so fucking depressed. The only happiness in the movie comes in the form of Dick's one liners. People need expressions other then super srs squinting. It's a dark story, I get that, but just because literally everyone is super srs and makes the occasional quip doesn't make it dark, it makes it look "edgy".

Like under the red hood did "edgy" Batman well.

All the action was pretty sweet, noticed a few inconsistencies in the animation (when Grayson takes the mask off then puts it back on, then Katey talks and the mask is still off ) but otherwise it was solid. Rushed though.

Just watched the movie a few hours ago, it was pretty terrible. There was absolutely no cohesiveness to the plot at any point, thematically I guess it was supposed to be about Batman accepting other people into the Batfamily (I guess?), but Batman himself was barely in the movie, and we weren't really given a reason as to why he should even do that in the first place, especially in the case of Batwing. Early on it seemed that the plot was going to revolve largely around The Heretic, but he's killed like halfway into the movie and was ultimately extremely unimportant. Hell, the entire plot with the villains just kind of meandered, they did a few things here and there but we were given basically zero clues about what the hell they were doing, and when their plan is sprung it wasn't even particularly interesting.

The only good things I can say about it is I enjoyed the Mad Hatter and it was nice to see Batwoman in an animation, though disappointing to see it happen in something like this.

I don't read the comics, is Batwing really a thing? And is it done better than it was here?
